I dont watch much tv outside of sports.

The only TV I watch is 24,Lost, and American Idol.

I thought that was his real name or fake name on Seinfield. Could be wrong. Am I?

Seinfeld episode Chop...George had a slight discoloration above his lip...he was worried it was life threatening, lupus was one of the things he wondered if he had.

Classic thread so I thought I would contribute.

In September 1991, just before Johnson learned he had HIV, he married longtime friend Earletha "Cookie" Kelly. They had a son in 1993 and adopted a daughter in 1995. Johnson also had a son from another relationship who spent the summers with him. Johnson continued to take medicine, eat right, and exercise. As recently as September 2002, his doctors said he is free of AIDS symptoms. Doctors credit Johnson's exercise habits and his use of powerful drugs; Johnson's wife Cookie has credited God, stating, "The Lord has definitely healed Earvin. Doctors think it's the medicine. We claim it in the name of Jesus."

So there is a cure for AIDS.

Take your medicine, eat right and exercise alot and you don't have anything to worry about.

:lolBIG: That just so happened to be one of the 10 episodes I have seen of Seinfeld.

That re-run was on TBS just 2 days ago and I happened to be watching it for some reason.

I thought he was talking about real life and did not put the 2 together.

Saw him at a Poker Tourney a few months back, and he seemed to be doing Ok.

I have gone almost 7 straight days without a single post until today.

I post in waves.

Take lots of breaks, and hit it hard when I do post.

Thats the same way that I do it when I bet.

Bet hard, then lay off.Bet hard, then lay off.Bet hard, then lay off.Bet hard, then lay off.Bet hard, then lay off.

wax on, wax off.wax on, wax off.wax on, wax off.wax on, wax off.wax on, wax off.

Since we are on the subject of having no lives, I never go out during football and hoops during weekends. I mean very rare. I do not meet freinds, or many holiday parties. I ignore invitations. I do not explain to most what I do. I am known as a anti social guy.

I do not know why I threw this in but did. Carry on.

Of course not - this borders on moronic - it's like being mildly pregnant.

However, with regular medical care and other positive lifestyle factors, such as emotional support, many long-term survivors have been living with HIV/AIDS for upwards of two decades. As existing treatments are used earlier in the course of HIV disease and new treatments are developed, it has become possible to further postpone, and perhaps even prevent, illness."

"Simple antiretroviral drug combinations might provide a comparable benefit to standard triple regimens in patients with mild HIV disease, because poor adherence and toxicities often compromise the sustained benefit of the latest triple regimens, especially when protease inhibitors are used."

Here is what's strange about Magic's HIV. The disease can be supressed by antiviral drugs but Magic never seems to be suffering from any side effects. One of the side effects is suppose to be a daily version of Montezuma's revenge. Magic does live TV on TNT. He is out all day doing business deals. Magic has boundless energy. People who have had AIDS a long time are running out of effective Antiviral combos. He's been really lucky. When the news came out I know most of us thought he would be gone within 5 years.
As far as his illness being fake. There is nothing he loved more than playing basketball. I don't think there would be anyone or any amount of money that would have gotten him to give that up to be the face of AIDS prevention.

Its suspected that Magic has a CCR5 mutation on his gp120 gene. Its a gene in your body where people will be HIV+ but the virus won't progress to AIDS. So basicly he just has a virus in his body similar to how Journey has Herpes.

Wilbon credited Magic as an Aids awareness ambassador, urban business legand , you name he complimented him...Bob Ryan was with Wilbon today, and they both appeared to love Magic, both being NBA reporters back then...both said they thought like everyone else Magic had about 5 years to live when it was revealed.
