"Well, we want to beat Indianapolis," was Gruden's response when asked how long RGIII will be allowed to settle in. "We want to win every game. And I have to put the people in there who (are) gonna help us win those games."

lol don't think I've ever seen a coach just shit on his QB over and over like Gruden does to RG

Gruden has shown he's way over his head. I'm normally against firing a coach after one season but this guy has already shown enough for me to see its time to move on.

You just do not say some of the things he says to the media about the QB.
Even if he's not is good as cousins

I rather have Haslett as coach than Gruden. Gruden is a dud. Get rid of McVay also. I just don't understand their play calling. RG3 is not a great pocket passer, mixed in with a line that can't help him worth shit, it is just disgusting to watch. They call ONE read option pass the entire game. That was RG3's specialty as a rookie. It completely sucks in the linebackers and gives him wide open reads. He hits Desean Jackson for an easy 39 yard gain. They didn't call any read options after that.

It just blows my mind. As a rookie his threat was never in the pocket, it was the read option. I don't care if he has a higher risk of injury. Either play to win the game or bench his ass. Pocket passing with this O'Line is not going to work with RG.

Like I told you several times in this thread, that isn't sustainable.

You see any other teams consistently doing that and succeeding in the modern day NFL?

Crime they banned Vlad over a thread he was right about

San Fran still does it to some success, Seattle does it some. RG3 needs a Russell Wilson strategy. Get him out of the pocket. Russell Wilson is not a great pocket passer either, but they make calls at the perfect time to get Russell Wilson free. RG3 can't succeed in this league without using the threat of his legs. And please never stick up for Vlad. That does not look good for you.

Why? I don't support his racism but he atleast makes some good points. If you reread this thread he was mostly right about RG3

SF had more success Kaep's first year than they've had recently. He was up and down last year and really hasn't been very good this year. The fact he has been aided by a good team around him certainly helps. He hasn't been very good for awhile now.

Wilson has an elite D/running game and is a better passer than RG3. Even he did get overrated after the superbowl win though.

Just think, the Redskins gave up three #1 picks and a #2 for this.

It is hard to see how RGIII is a franchise QB at this point.

Who are you comparing these guys to? Lol. There might be 3-4 qbs in the league that perform at the level of excellence you and Vlad require for black qbs in all of football.

No I think a few more than 3-4 QBs are playing better than Kaepernick and RG3 this year.

Yea, this year, I'm talking about an NFL career. They've had really good seasons, and struggled, just like most NFL quarterbacks besides a select few.

RG3 had 1 good season...Kaep had a half of a good season and then was up and down last year, again inconsistent this yr. Teams figuring out how to defend the read option better just restricts guys like that.

You are thinking of someone along the lines of Eli Manning or Joe Flacco who have been up and down. Both those guys we would take over Kaep/RG3.

RG3 is in his 3rd year and has played 4 games this year, lol. And last year he played with a knee brace on. It's funny how you don't account for any of that.

ok I guess we'll just wait a little longer until you admit you were wrong about him.

Maybe this is the week he turns it around and changes the entire trajectory of his career.

You do realize he is on the cusp of not being a starter anymore and could even be on a new team next year?

rg3 is just a stupid qb that does not know how to go down, the 1st yr it took the defenses to learn his style, he will never be a top qb as he will not last imo

they're both terrible, but if i had to pick one, it'd be Cousins. at least he can stay in the pocket, read a defense, and go through progressions decently. RG3 is utterly useless without his legs and is finished in the league, hated by his teammates as well.

Well because of his injuries he's playing a completely different offense now. Defenses didn't figure it out, they just simply don't run it anymore.
