Is it weird to see someone in concert 16 times?

That was a pretty neat show but not even close to same thing as the full band thing he does outside of vegas.

That was just a semi retirement kind of gig.

I was gonna say the opposite. Games are unique but concerts seem like the same thing to me. But if you enjoy it, of course you should do it.
Then you've never been to WSP, Phish, Umphrey's I take it? Never the same, and never know what you're gonna get. Last WSP show for me they played a song they haven't played in over 10 years, and to top it off, I got an 18 minute version of my favorite song to boot. Whoo wee son...

WSP? Trying to figure out what that stands for and I can't. I know who Phish is, but no never been to a concert. Heck, could not even name a song of theirs. Umphrey's? Never heard of him/them. Part of the problem, is I grew up on hip hop/rnb for the most part, and those artists are TERRIBLE live. Only been to a couple rock concerts and those were terrible also. Only seen one music artist live that I enjoyed and that was Mr. Busta Rhymes beleive it or not.

Then you're seeing the wrong bands. Good live acts switch up their game, it's not a cookie cutter concert each time.

Phish huh. Did you take acid

Sometimes. Obviously. More mushrooms than paper in my day. And nitrous galore.

Nitrous on mushrooms, most fun thing on earth.

Some of the greatest times of my life have been on acid. The paper kind.

Yep. medical grade like at the dentist, but as you say, ones made for whipping cream, whippets, work wonders too. Man I can feel
myself losing a few brain cells just typing that. Lol all good.

Usually if you see the same tour in the same year you will hear the same jokes and the same "off the cuff" remarks between songs. Then you can get that feeling of a band going through the motions and it cheapens the experience slightly. But hey...if you have fun go as much as you please.

It wasn't all that long ago I remember thinking Garth is the kind of person that connects with everyone on a level where you're comfortable with him being in the same room. He connects to where you're not star struck and if he came knocking on your door you'd let him in no matter if your house is messy or not and have a beer with. He definitely doesn't come across as some rich pompous ass. I just think it's very cool how he connects like that.

You have been 16x's. Including last night. And you are going again tonight. 2 nights in a row.

Ok, NOW its starting to get weird. If not already.

With Garth, it's definitely weird. With the other bands listed in this thread, it's not.

Maybe he didn't get his white jeans autographed last night, and was hoping for better luck tonight. Breakout the Sharpie.

Haha. I liked Garth Brooks back in the day. Not a big country fan in general, but he had some catchy tunes.

I hear he puts on a great show. But back to back nights after you have seen him 16x?

Hmmmmm....
