So you're saying to get out of LLNW? I was up a little until today (it's down 2%).
That sounds like fun. I'm jealous! I've snowboarded at Snowqualmie. In 2010, we (Coast Guard) worked the Vancouver Olympics. I was in Seattle for 36 nights, we worked 2 days on/1 day off. It was awesome! By the end I felt like I lived there. Stayed on Lake Union at the Residence Inn (across from the lake, near the famed cancer center place). We went to Snowqualmie because it was close - not great, but still fun.
I'm going to Big Bear (California) next month w/ my wife to see her sister. Her sister and boyfriend bought a cabin there last year and moved into it (from Huntington Beach) due to covid to save on rent. We're going to stay there and snowboard the mountain for 3 or 4 days.
CB going to Mt Bachelor Monday for a few days..
It's a great deal..lodging is off mountain cheap in Sunriver 20 mIles from the slopes. We got a house with hot tub and great reviews for 120 a night.
Lift tickets are reasonable and the snow has been great this year. Plus it's a super cool layout..You can ski the main Mountain 360 degrees with lots of blacks
