Ghislaine Maxwell reportedly moved from ‘cell to cell’ to avoid assassins

Ghislaine Maxwell is being moved from “cell to cell” in her Brooklyn lockup — over fears someone will try to kill the accused Jeffrey Epstein madam before she stands trial, according to a report.

The Post already revealed how the 58-year-old British socialite was forced to wear paper clothes and sleep on a bare mattress so she couldn’t hang herself with clothes or bed sheets like Epstein.

Now insiders have told the Mail on Sunday that prison officials are so “terrified someone will try to kill her” that they are constantly moving her around inside the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

“She is being moved from cell to cell and sometimes has a cellmate, sometimes not,” an insider told the UK paper.

“Jeffrey Epstein died behind bars and they are terrified someone will try to kill Ghislaine,” the source said.

Germany’s Prince Otto of Hesse dies in motorcycle accident at 55

A German prince has died in a high-speed motorcycle crash, according to local reports.

Prince Otto of Hesse, 55, crashed his Ducati Multistrada 1260 S into the central guardrail on a highway in the state of Bavaria at 8:15 a.m. Sunday morning, according to Bild.

The prince — who owned several McDonald’s franchises — died at the scene, the paper said.

EXPLOSION AND FIRE ABOARD USS BONHOMME IN SAN DIEGO

Smoke rises from the amphibious assault ship Bonhomme Richard Sunday after an explosion and fire on board the ship at Naval Base San Diego.

Most of the sailors injured in a massive fire aboard the amphibious assault ship Bonhomme Richard Sunday suffered from smoke inhalation, Rear Adm. Philip Sobeck, commander of Expeditionary Strike Group 3, told reporters Sunday evening in San Diego, where the ship had been burning for nearly 12 hours.

The sailors were in stable condition, he said.

“Most of them are attributed to smoke inhalation,” Sobeck said. “I don’t have the facts of all of them.”

Seventeen sailors and four civilians were injured in the blaze.

While the precise cause remained unknown Sunday night, Sobeck said there was “nothing toxic” in the ship, and that the black smoke billowing from the amphib all day was caused by office and berthing items burning.

The fire is believed to have started below those spaces, in the lower cargo hold of the ship, known as the “Deep V,” Sobeck said.

It is a “huge open area where you store a lot of (Marine Corps) equipment and everything else,” he said. “That’s where we believe it was started.”

Black smoke rose as flames engulfed the Shahid Tondgooyan petrochemical plant in the Khuzestan province of Iran late Sunday afternoon.

Hours earlier, more than 500 miles away, detonations rocked the basement of an old, nondescript home in a northern pocket of Tehran. The two-story dwelling was said to have housed at least 30 gas cylinders that were used for unclear purposes.

Both incidents came fewer than two days after a string of explosions – and power outages – were reported west of Tehran in the early hours of Friday. Local reports indicated that multiple “mortar-like sounds similar to anti-aircraft missiles” were heard.

The blasts reportedly took place at an Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) missile depot.

These most recent attacks happened on the heels of multiple other mysterious explosions at sensitive sites over the course of the last three weeks – and no one is precisely sure what is going on, other than its rattling of the regime and stymying its controversial nuclear program.

Michael Flynn bombshell: FBI believed he was 'forthcoming' and 'telling truth,' notes show

Long withheld notes of senior DOJ, FBI officials suggest former Trump adviser did not commit crime as Robert Mueller claimed.

Months before Michael Flynn was charged with the lying to agents, the FBI told the Justice Department the Trump national security adviser was "very open and forthcoming" in his interview and believed he was telling the truth about his contacts with Russia, according to long withheld government notes that sharply contrast with the criminal case Robert Mueller eventually filed.

FBI agents told senior DOJ officials at a Jan. 25, 2017 meeting that Flynn was “telling truth as he believed it” and that he "believe[d] that what he said was true," according to handwritten notes taken by then-Deputy Assistant Attorney General Tashina Gauhar that were belatedly turned over to Flynn's defense this month.

The agents also believed Flynn was “being forthright” during his interview and simply didn't remember some facts from his calls with the Russian ambassador during the post-2016 election transition, Gauhar wrote in the notes. A separate DOJ memo described Flynn as "very open and forthcoming" during the interview.

Copies of the notes from Gauhar, former FBI agent Peter Strzok, who led the Russia collusion case, and former DOJ and FBI official Dana Boente were made public in a court filing over the weekend, adding to a large body of belatedly released evidence that suggested the FBI did not believe it had grounds to charge Flynn with a crime as news media were reporting at the time.

In fact, Boente stated in handwritten notes dated in March 2017 that the FBI had concluded Flynn wasn't an agent of Russia. "Do not view as source of collusion," Boente wrote.

Likewise, the notes show DOJ did not believe it could prosecute Flynn under the Logan Act, lone of the laws that was leaked as a possible Flynn liability in the media. "No reasonable pros to Logan Act," one of the entry in the notes declared.

The notes also confirm previously released evidence showing the FBI planned on Jan. 4, 2017 to close down its investigation of Flynn but then reversed course.

Roger Stone: Wasn’t Willing to Lie About Trump for Leniency

Former Donald Trump adviser Roger Stone said he did not trade his silence for the grant of clemency he received from the president.

One of the prosecutors on Robert Mueller’s team told Stone that if he could “re-remember certain phone conversations” with Trump, then she would recommend leniency to the judge, Stone told Fox News’s “Hannity” on Monday night.

“I didn’t have to think about it very long. I said absolutely not,” Stone, 67, said.

“There was no circumstance under which I would bear false witness against the president. I was just not willing to lie.”

The prosecutor in question was Jeannie Rhee, according to Stone.

“Now, in the last two days when I said that, people said, ‘oh, you see, Stone had the goods on Trump and he traded his silence for a commutation.’ That is patently false. I never said that. I never implied that,” he continued

“What I said has been consistent, that I would not lie against my friend of 40 years so they could use it for impeachment.”
