I differ from a lot of the opinions and ideas of Ayn Rand.
However this is one with which I agree wholeheartedly, and certainly one that sbd/sheriff joe/doctor success should pay special attention
because imo they apply to them and epitomize the type of persons she is referring to:
“You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality.” ― Ayn Rand
Back later as it is lunchtime and I have a few errands to run.
I would include/add in her short but very wise implied advice is that not only should one not avoid reality by sweeping it under the rug
and by so doing simply dismiss it, but should not distort it by looking ahead to the future and projecting what one wants to
occur rather than at the very least allowing for possibilities that could alter the reality they see now and are content with to one
which could make their state of mind worse or possibly even better depending on what occurs.
This is essentially the message I have at least tried lenny to consider over the last few days but for reasons known to himself(if
he actually knows them) will not consider and more importantly even respond to!!
Some the words and terms that come to mind in this regard are "static approach," "dynamic approach," "flexibility" and "inflexibility."
