Ok-to clarify, what I meant is that although the chances right now look good that that he will be the person nominated at the Convention,Perhaps you can enlighten us all with your wealth of knowledge on how Trump , who will have the primary locked up long before any possible conviction will not be the nominee ?
things could change before the Convention or afterwards to alter that so that he is not the nominee on Election Day itself, which is what m
matters.
Some of the possible reasons are:
1) Best chance is conviction which imo will mean he won't be the nominee.
2) Plea bargain if he and/or his attorneys realize that the chances are overwhelming that he is going to be convicted.
3) Trump finds some reason between now and the Election that the polling data suggests he will lose general election.
4) Illness either real or made-up that will mean he is not the nominee.
5) Related to 3 and 4, there is some revealing news about Trump during the campaign, trial, etc, which changes the overall
perception of the American public.
6) Just a general hunch based on the above and other heartfelt intangibles, that he will not be the nominee come Election Day.
And of course, this is partially projection and hope on my part, which is essentially the same on the other side of the aisle for
Trump supporters!!
Got to run for now!!
