Journeyman,you are RIGHT! It is hard knowing people are counting on your plays and it is up to you to achieve success for them. Just like playing sports where people use your success for their success and if you fail they fail. Picking winners is hard and Vegas or no other sports book or other book is in financial trouble unless someone is stealing or scamming. It seems easy as the book says " I play who you do not want" but it is not easy and combine it with someone like Choptalk who CARES about all the other players and it add to unbelievable pressure as I know because we all have friends in the gambling circles that we try to help cuz nothing is better than helping a friend achieve success and Chop does it for everyone whether friend or not so I TIP MY CAP to him and hope he is back SOON!!!!!

I'm here on RX from mid last baseball season! On the first i was charmed with all nice records posted here! Then I was start to played some type consensus plays from Bucsfan, Jorneyman, Dubpoet, ~Da, ego74, sherman, TN, thekeyman, The Mighty Giggs, BlackLab and maybe still someone plays! I wasnt have luck with this plays (about 135)! I scorsh my yet before damaged bankroll!

Because for this season I decide that follow few the best cappers closely! Bucsfan is proven class and he was first one! That I was then stop on him now I be very hapy man! But I was greedy and ask for more! BigShotMaxxx is my favorite man with excellence record for his triplex plays last year! Hi was start in the midle of last season and I estimate that this season he sould made much better + units! Also I tracked that hi haved a litle frustrated ice hockey season and i expect that some luck will back him on basses! I start to play all his plays and he earned above -40 units until now!


Chop plays I dont play last year! I dont know way? Maybe I dont liked his style with more and more adding plays! Its me always look like on chase job!
I not follow his preseason but when I back on base few days before season start i noticed nice chop record! He doing that used just big font in order to everyone can good mark! After that nice record I wonder way I not remember one of the best capper here more last year? Then I get aspiration that I search his last year posts day by day! There I find everything! Big slump and up, tons of adding plays, going from plays and back! I find that chop are pretty wild capper! I estimate that last season was pretty tight for him and that he may learn a much! I was expected that chop with expirience from last year can reach much better record (about twice)! It's my wrong valuation

Few things which I may reproach to you!

First are adding plays! I have impression that we have loss above 20 units on adding plays! When I find time i may find exactly numbers!

Second is your blow about your records! Huge font for record when you winning but if losing record go in second plan or stay for after! Way do you wish to assure people that you are proven winer? What do you have from that? Do you wish to folks follow you? If you have good job here and good record folks will be with you! And your bad joke about one losing week in signature?


Third about your record! If you start record in title it must stay in title untill end of world! Your record is your tademark and if it move on you tell to everyone some isn't all right with me! With post your record in front with the bigest font although it is -50 you show that really proven winer!

Sory because my obscure, and full of errors tale here! Not tend to be offansive against you in this hard time! For me you are really good man, but like capper you have much to improve!

Part 2 And Most Important

Chop, I`ve followed you win or lose for a long time. First off I think you`re a class act and someone I`d like to meet. Not too many here. As you may or may not know, I guess I`m the oldest (age wise) poster @ the RX. All that really means is I can`t even begin to count the ups & downs of this endeavor we call gambling I`ve encountered over the yrs. From the shi*house of a Mil. barracks, to glitz of the "Strip" been there done that for over 50 yrs. And if there`s one certitude, it`s that the bad will follow the good, just as the sun will ALWAYS set in the West. You`ve won in the past using whatever system you employ DON`T change. Just take a time out. Everyone of us has a hundred tales of the vagaries of this life. Many yrs ago in Reno I went on one of the most memorable BJ streaks you can imagine for over 3 wks I NEVER had a negative day. Some day a dollar or 2, others as high as 10K, make a long sory short I lost 80% of it in a 2 day span. Come back when foots are here and help us kick some bookie ASS!! IMO you are one of the cornerstones of this forum. Go fishing, BOL!!!!

Your doing the right thing. I have been playing for a long time and I have no problem pulling the plug on a season. The NBA had been very good to me in recent years and this year it just killed me. I was happy to see baseball come around. I am holding my own in baseball but I can't recall a season when I have lost so many games in the late innings. I also played a lot of unders in previous years but most of my total losses have come by playing the under. It's definately an odd season from a handicapping point of view.

The good news is, there are some solid cappers this year that are falling on the right side of the 7th,8th, and 9th inning blown leads.

JOURNEYMAN, TOMMOROWS NEWSPAPER, SSI, just to name a few.

No, those guys are solid "no emotion" cappers. Its not a matter of falling on the right side, its a matter of discipline and self control - and maybe, just maybe, a little modesty.
