Brett Favre: 6'2 220 lbs
Josh Allen: 6'5 240+ lbs.
If Allen had Chase and Higgins, no team would be able to stop him in the playoffs. I say playoffs because he can't play the way he did against KC week in and week out during the regular season....obviously. That's why, win or lose, Josh raises his game and saves his most memorable performances when it counts.
With Chase and Higgins, if the D were to stuff the line trying to negate those powerful legs, Allen would simply fire the ball to his stud WRs wide open for huge gains through the air down the field, and sometimes MONSTER gains (like the 70 yard laser that went right through Diggs, which looked a lot like "Big Game Gabe's" drop against the Bengals last year in the playoffs. Two overrated stiffs who can't play at Josh's level).
On the other hand, if they double-covered Chase and Higgins...well, we saw what Allen did to the #2 rated defense in the NFL on the ground.
How are you going to stop him?
Josh Allen is a Beast, a duo-threat Freight Train with deadly accuracy like no other in the history of the NFL.
Unfortunately, like Barry Sanders back in the day, he plays for the Detroit Lions. Okay, not quite that bad, but the point stands.
This is why I laugh at Avo and others who nitpick Allen's "failed" drives. Avo completely misses the big picture on Josh Allen (because he's a Buffalo Bill).
Blinded by homerism and hate
"I wouldn't trade Joe Burrow for Josh Allen."
And he's DEAD SERIOUS too...he really wouldn't.
