He didn't though lol

Mahomes had a QBR of 91

Allen had a QBR of 65

QBR is a statistic that tends to overvalue running, by the way. It's not just a passing stat
You are way too caught up in stats when evaluating a player. KC receivers were wide open all day long.

When the criticism of a player is dropping a dime on a ball thrown over 60 yds in the air, you know he was magnificent.
This is where its get off the rails

No one is criticizing Allen for that lol

You're just making stuff up because you are sad about the outcome of the game

But they FEEL Allen had the better game.

An elite qb getting praised for a moral victory of which he was at home as the favorite and loses to another elite qb for the umpteenth time straight in the play offs. Really starting to see everything.

Mahomes was a game manager. He was Alex Smith. That’s what his team needed and he did it.

I think deep down they know this was a golden opportunity and they were so let down by the outcome, that this is their way of coping I guess

Allen loses again and the reflex is just to instantly start praising him even though no one is really criticizing him for the game

I mean the guy got outplayed by one of the greatest QB's ever playing a great game himself lol why is that so insulting ?

Yeah and no one even saying Allen sucked lol it must be a defensive reflext

Fact is once Chiefs slowed down Cook, then the Bills offense didn't have a whole lot they could do. Allen fought and made a couple plays, but overall offense stalled late

23 plays for 59 yards in the 4th quarter

Frankly the Bills defense played pretty well in the 4th
the biggest surprise for me was the conservative play calling . Was waiting for the play action, fire downfield , Josh is an elite qb!!--nope , for 3 qtrs . Was liek the OC had no confidence in Allen, was afraid of the turnover. Fuck, he just needed patience at the end, was rooting hard for buff

after the two turnovers went the bills way in the 4th i was convinced of destiny.........yeah i was way way off lol

anyway should be great one at Baltimore !!

HE LOST! AGAIN!

There are NO moral victories when ur at home as the favorite.

Good gawd. Love and the Packers can have a moral victory as 10 point dogs. Not an elite qb at home as the favorite.

How hard is this? Truly?!

3 days now and guys that think Mahomes played better can’t name one play that was outstanding.
Lol several were listed but you just chose to not read them I guess. That's quite a skill you seem to have

Also here's the video, same source you used to defend Allen lol

Their whole game plan was to control the clock and not have Allen make a mistake / keep Mahomes off the field

Over 40% of Allen's throws were behind the line of scrimmage

You can’t throw deep when 2 safeties are playing deep. Play action doesn’t work when you can’t run the ball. The score dictated Allen to throw deep in the 4th quarter and 2 receivers dropped bombs.

I mean Diggs throw was great. No argument there. But acting like it was the greatest throw ever (or whatever you called it lol) is just asinine. I've seen Burrow toss a better deep ball this year

Sherfield throw was not great . Guy had to laterally lay out for it. He had a chance, but that is not exactly a great throw lol

Choptalk also deserves a moral victory for hanging with the 1 to 10 favorite all season. Until the big dog steps up in the end. ;)

That's what big dogs do. Win in the end not hand it to the kicker to save them.

No you haven’t. Burrow hasn’t thrown one pass that far in the air all year. The pass couldn’t have been more perfect. Tell us where it should have hit Diggs hands.

lol, of course -that was the drive that could/should have ended the game ..haha. The fav on home soil deliverying and sending Mahomes PACKING

it was in his hands to win...like Fed with match point 5th set at Wimbledon..TOAST..who cares what happened in the 2nd set-deliver when NEEDED most .its not that hard man
JUST LIKE FED!?!?! Come on man, it's a team freaking sport!?!?!? SO no it's not like FED!!!!!!! His receivers dropped the ball, his kicker missed the kick, his D allowed 8 yards a play, but he should have won the game in a TEAM sport.

Let's look at Mahomes "intangibles" Last year his TEAM returned the ball to KC 47. He just need 20 yards to win. Moore was open at lo and behold pass incomplete. He tries to scramble for the yardage needed for the field goal, but then doesn't get enough. So much for "winning the game" in a team sport. But wait here comes the intangibles. The second team comes in and an unnecessary touching penalty. KC wins the game, off to the Super bowl. The only intangible Mahomes displayed was his ability to flop like a soccer player!
Lets fast forward to the Super bowl. 2:07 left in the game one first down wins it. Pass complete no gain. Pass incomplete no first down Eagles could win the game. But wait more intangibles come into play. The second team throws a flag after the ball bounces on a terrible throw in the endzone. Chiefs win. Those are the intangibles you speak off? Mahomes in both championship games had the game in his hands, and his second team delivered the Chiefs to victory. How come no mention of his incomplete passes when the game is on the line?

I mean he's thrown one (at least) 60 in the air (instead of 65 or whatever the Diggs was one), and it was more in stride than the Diggs one.

Kinda nit-picking lol
