Now, answer the questions I posed bardude.

Riddle me this bardude, how can one say in a debate that he opposes late term abortions while wanting to sign the above legislation? How can one be opposed to late term abortions when one actually supports and condones infanticide in the case of botched abortions?

Furthermore, why does one choose to blatantly misrepresent his true beliefs to the voting public?

If this is the "POLICY" Americans want, why can't he be proud and admit what he supports?

Opposing late term abortions does not require one to also support the arrest, prosecution and imprisonment of American women who elect to have such an abortion.

An easy parallel would be for me to honestly state that I strongly oppose the decision of someone to take up the habit of tobacco use. But I would never support legislation that makes the use of tobacco a criminal act.

damn, now all abortions are done by people who can't afford to have babies and the babies are gonna starve to death.

got me there dude, why not just kill them if you get laid-off too?

I know, I know, lets kill babies because the stock market crashed :103631605
never said all.......most abortions are done by selfish people who had unprotected sex ......but in the cases where those means dont work out and the couple is too young and or cant afford a baby....you guys sure as hell arent going to pay for it.........hence my comment

From a Quoted post we get this bemusing mangle:

ZIT: .....would compare the countless
millions of abortions.....

SH: Is it "countless", or is it "millions", since the latter would be oxymoronic to the former.

Needless to say, but it's always a smile to remember that for the rabid anti-choicer, all abortions are reflected as the loss of Little Johnny in a sailor suit or Little Janey in an Easter dress.

In fact, over 3/4 of abortions are of embyros that are barely a few ounces in size.

Think more of a squashed pimple....or hey...a squashed ZIT, and you've got a more realistic review of what's really going on in the vast majority of terminated pregnancies.

I guess everybody here was too young or has forgot about all the young girls killed or maimed by illegal abortionist. I have not checked on suicide rates but I would wager that they dropped considerably.

This will not matter to "coat hanger Palin" and her followers.

The death rate for pregnant females in countries that criminalize abortion are certainly higher than within the USA and that's but one of the many reasons we can be thankful that within the United States of America, no woman need fear arrest, prosecution and prison time should she elect to terminate an unwanted pregnancy, or to terminate a late term pregnancy in preference to herself dying on the table.

Again, reefering to a Quoted post by FZIT, we note with interest the amazing stat that from 1995-1999, there were exactly the same number of abortions every year.

And again from 2002-2004, the annual number was exactly the same.

Guessing Is Fun!

Liberalism implies that individual liberty is the most important political goal.

The abortion issue falls right in line with this.

Let the women worry about what they would like to do with their womb. Grow up.

STOP THAT!

Everyone knows that the state should be the final decider on who is in charge of a woman's womb.

Especially "conservatives".

A baby that can survive outside the womb has the same rights to life we do, he's alive already.

Correct. Which is why the FOCA directly protects any third trimester fetus which is "viable". Here's hoping that President Obama keeps his campaign pledge and influences Congress to get this sensible legislation passed into law ASAP.

And this insane idiotic philosophy falls apart when one considers
that the baby has rights too.

Grow up.

I finally figured it out Barman, the reason you can joke and make fun
of baby killing, is because according to your freak, fringe
kooky cult - evil doesn't exist. So, if you just close your eyes,
and pretend it's not happening, *poof* it's all gone, like magic!!!!

FAQ for Kooky Unity Cult:

Does Unity believe in evil?
Unity’s founders did not believe in evil. Charles Fillmore wrote in Christian Healing, “If we think that evil exists as a power in the world, that is working in our lives and in the lives of those about us, we make it an active force, and it appears to be all that we imagine it. … Be wise; pronounce nothing evil, and only good will come.” Evil is the subjective label we give to events we do not understand.

How ironic that Barman tries to make fun of Christians, when he attends
the kookiest cult on the planet.

Mormonism wasn't weird enough, so he hopped over to the Unity Cult.

This here issue is not about the women's womb, it be about the babies being killed cause some women don't want them to be alive. I say that adoption is helpful and a few appropriate criminal actions to bring the bad people who are killing these babies to justice would help.

But we need the Right people on the Supreme Court like the Republicans so, vote McCain to lower taxes and save babies lives.

Roe v Wade was enacted in 1973 a republican was in office.

Since that time republicans have had the presidency 24 outta the 36 years. Nothings changed. They use this to rally the faithful and then forget about it. So you want to vote in another republican hypocrite?
