Yeah, probably, idk, don't pay much attention to the NBA.
Just curious.
How much a player does to help their team is independent from their teammates and coaches. Allen Iverson was rarely surrounded by good players, yet he did enough to help his teams to make the Hall-of-Fame.
I mean, Iverson played for a title which is something Lillard hasn't even come close to yet.
He has went further in the play offs then chris paul(lock hofer) ever has.....and Lillard's numbers blow away chauncey billups.
Paul was not a Hall-of-Fame lock for the Hall-of-Fame at age 29. It has taken him an additional five years to get to where he is now. Chauncey Billups has more career win shares and wins over replacement than Lillard.
It seems you're trying to make a case for Lillard, but it's only making him look worse. Making the Finals is a big part of what made Iverson a Hall-of-Fame player. When he did make the Finals he was MVP and the second best player on the team was Eric Snow. Lillard has never been in contention for the MVP and has already played alongside players better than Snow. Iverson has also played in a few hundred more games than Lillard.
Lol, no he wasn’t. That team had Mutombo on it.
And the east was terrible then, ‘99-03 was the nadir for that conference in terms of top flight teams.
No wonder you usually stick to trolling.

If making the Finals and winning the MVP was not a big part of what gave Iverson a Hall-of-Fame career, please enlighten us with what was.
Take away that one year and his overall career value does drop down to Billups / Tim Hardaway level.
I never said his hallmark year wasn't a big part of his legacy and thus making HOF.
I said saying Eric Snow was the 2nd best player on that team is laughable and obviously distorts what a feat it was to take that Sixers team to the finals. They had an elite defensive team around him. And also, the East was at its nadir that year.

Lillard is on the trajectory to make the HOF though, I think the OP prob won $ betting on him and it just wasn't enough to start a thread saying "He's a bad motherfucker!", he had to put some Clay Travis/twitter hot take spin on it so he asked an absurd question. Who cares if he would make the HOF if he retired in 20 minutes, he isn't gonna do that and obviously only the truly elite players are making HOF retiring before age 30.
