Thanks man, I am sorry to say it too...I had been dreading the trip the past 3-4 months with it nearing, just couldn't get past the reality of being that high in the air with no control...I got my ticket and all....If we could have an east coast trip I'd just drive...I'm really tired of explaining the fear but feel I have to...I don't know how else to explain it other than I can't do it...I thought I could will myself to do it.

I have to agree. I've had some good conversations with the J-Man over the years, and I genuinely like his posting persona. But I believe there is more to this than fear of flying. Two years ago, his excuse was that he didn't like to drink and gamble. Now it's the flying excuse after promising he'd make it. I'd love to be proven wrong, and for Jman to be exactly how he presents himself on here. I'll be in Boston soon to see my friends. Hopefully I can convince him to meet me somewhere out east.
