Again, this virus is 100% on an exponential growth pattern. That is a FACT. I can point you to graphs that clearly show it, but you should be smart enough to find them for yourself.

I do a lot of work with health systems and their corresponding medical schools across the country and these figures came up during a few recent meetings I attended related to COVID-19. I did not check their accuracy, but they aligned with what I’ve seen previously, except for the neoplasms, whose figure is new to me.
Population > 65: 16-18%
Heart disease < 65: 13-15%
Respiratory disease: < 65: 9-11%
Diabetics < 65: 6-8%
Existing or recent neoplasms < 65: 5-7%
Note: Some individuals will check off multiple of these boxes inflating the number.
I would also caveat that plenty of at risk individuals will not become infected at all or will become infected and fall into the 80% of patients with mild to moderate symptoms. It’s far from a guarantee that an at risk individual will fall into the 20% who have severe or critical symptoms. What is becoming clearer is the 20% with severe to critical symptoms are made up almost entirely of at risk individuals.
EXPONENTIAL GROWTH is different than linear growth!
Whenever you have exponential growth, whatever it is that's growing will double its presence/population in a given amount of time. Let's say you start with a population that has just one infected person on January 1st, and the number of infected people doubles every three days.
