Just talked to a friend who is way up the ladder in the gas business and they think FL might be out of gas by Thurs. night. They had a huge run on it today and terminal supplies are extremely low

This will be your problem.

But lets hope it won't be too bad.

as we all know how good the Weathermen are

Yea, but what kind of mess will I arrive to.

I fly into orlando the day it's supposed to hit. I have 48 hours to decide if I'm going to roll the dice on a $7,000 vacation or cancel and refund a trip I've been planning for a year. With no window to reschedule and no vacation until Aruba in 2019.

Not that worried, yet. If path stays as it is tomorrow or next day, getting the plans in place. All it takes is one bobble, and it changes everything.

central florida on the coast here. Every store around is already sold out of water and shit. Its crazy. I'm sure they will get more soon but as of right now finding water isn't easy. Going to fill up the gas cans tomorrow just in case. My mom is actually on a 7 day cruise right now, not sure that she will even be able to come back until after it passes.

Most Supermarkets receive Deliveries on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's
So if you are looking for water and other supplies , it's best to get there as well before Noon.

How can he declare a state of emergency if it hasn't even hit yet?

Yeah we got around 20 gallons already. I was just surprised to see stores sold out already. The wife is going to Orlando tomorrow for some nursing class so she may pick up more in case anyone else in my family needs some. We have been through so many of these things by now that we basically have hurricane supply rubber made bins with all the shit we would need in them ready to go.

My advice is to get out when you can. I am in Beaumont, TX and we still don't have water. Even if you don't get direct hit, things will be a mess and not worth sticking around. Only reason it's not as bad is because I still have power and internet.
