has he been paid yet?

Like WVU says, he does what he wants and why do you care? :missingte

wvu has not been paid due to him not responding to emails from wil.
i have offered to meet him to pay him at hard rock, a public place, 10 minutes from his house.
i have offered to mail it to him and he has been emailed at least three times from wil as to which one of two addresses were his and wvu has never answered.
i have offered to pay it to charity to which he said no.
maybe he can put a few more lies in his response and again say he never recieved the emails, which is exactly why i asked wil to get involved.
tell the him to email wil which one of his addresses are the one to which the payment should be sent and it will be sent as soon as i get back from the allstar game in NY.
unless he wants me to send it to the equipment dept at the college he works at.

Everyone was rooting for him to stiff WVU which is kinda fucked up, I am slowly coming around to taking WVU's side on this one. A bet is a bet and a stiff is a stiff. Sorry Lap but you suck.

Never read the part about him trying to pay. WTF WVU? You could have atleast brought your homies if you were concerned for your safety.

disappearing for weeks (months?) was bad enough. reappearing magically the day after the bet is over and trying to weave a web of deception is just really filthy. staying hidden with tail between legs was the much better option. all this posing and excuse making is just unbearably sickening

I would never advocate stiffing. A stiff is the lowest form of life on the planet. But is it stiffing when you don't pay a freeroll? I don't know, but it's blatantly obvious that WVU was freerolling him. It would be tough for me to pay him.

<hr style="color: rgb(253, 222, 130);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> it's 100% absolutely critical for a decision to be made by SOMEBODY related to this mess to determine if WVU will rcv winning payment if he doesn't surface before the series starts and BOS wins. Two very ugly things could happen ...

- he suddenly appears and an epic war erupts over whether he should be paid or not. -- or --
- he doesn't appear and Cardsfan has to fwd the 1k via whatever means WVU has previously made known to Rx friends and/or mgmt.

those two scenarios are just going to blow the roof off this forum. that's why my earlier question of : "is there a known means to pay WVU if he stays silent?" is so relevant ... does that make sense?

I'm personally thinking those two scenarios will NOT happen... but they COULD and they need to be remedied before they do b/c they could really F this forum up. not saying mgmt is responsible for this on any level, but if LP gets F'd on this, it's just going to be uglier than ugly.

on the bright side, I have a feeling that WVU may win the bet, make his appearance after that happens and forgive the bet. I think he will do that and offer the forum and lengthy explanation and apology to the RX and to LP. He'll put himself at the mercy of the court. That's really his best chance at salvaging any character out of this... and that's ONLY IF HE WINS AND FORGIVES THE BET !!!

what an incredibly F'd up situation this is !
