on goof bets I will occasionally play reverse teasers where the payouts are in excess of $25,000 on a small amount wagered.

For example, I have 3 legs of a 7 team reverse teaser left tomorrow on

Bucs -13
49ers Over 48

$20 pays $30,000

honestly guys have you ever heard of anyone getting paid off of one of these or am I pretty much throwing away $20 because even if it hits I'm not going to get paid. Just curious to get someone's opinions.

why is everyone congratulation Peep so fast? Don't you all know that he has not won a thing yet till he collects that 40,000 from Bluegrass. That's a big chunk of change to collect here. Bluegrass is a very new book here, and I would be a bit nervous if I was Peep.. I know he's favored to collect it, but it's not like he's a really huge favorite. I hope the best for the kid and i hope this money makes his life better, and also, I hope he didn't hedge too much of this bet to only pick up 14,000 from it all, instead of 40,000. Does anyone else but me think that Bluegrass was smart enough to overbook Yankee series bets to even out their exposure on any Marlins bets or, hell, even end up with a net win? Let's not forget all the futures they would have booked on everyone BUT the Marlins to win the World Series.

I'd be surprised as shit if BG didn't honor the payout, which would destroy their reputation and guarantee an unbelievable amount of negative reaction. For what - a lousy 40K (to them!)?

Anyhow, given my advice earlier, it would be only prudent to start getting a lot of the cash out - prudent so peteep doesn't get that itch to play Billy Walters.

I think we should and are giving them the benefit so far but if any book in general tried to get out of a bet like this alot of us would make it our personal life mission to ruin them.

Im sure they were well aware of what they had going on coming into the world series. I hope they didnt bet on the yanks winning though.
