Trolls looking for attention. If you'd like to discuss Sterling please do so... otherwise your posts are violating the rules of the Offshore. Thanks!

This all reminds me of a "Saturday Night Live" skit during the 1984 Presidential election, where Regan won every state but Mondale's home state of Minnesota. The skit showed members of Mondale's team at rally, with a map of the US and Minnesota brightly highlighted, talking excitedly about how solidly ahead they were there(and overlooking the obvious fact that Minnesota wasn't gonna be quite enough to carry them over the top, lol). Same with these clowns: it's all over but the shouting, but they still cling to the desperate hope that they were right, and we were wrong.:pointer:Shush()*:nohead:cockingasnook():hahahahah<:)<:):laughingb

Lmao!! It just keeps getting better and better. Game is officially over. Good luck on the next one guys.

Donald Sterling won't pursue lawsuit

Banned owner Donald Sterling has approved the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and won't pursue further legal action related to the transaction, his attorney said in an email to ESPN.com's Ramona Shelburne on Wednesday.

Max Blecher said Donald Sterling had settled with wife Shelly regarding the sale and that the NBA agreed to to sue him for anything a day after Sterling, in an interview to NBC4 during a charity function, said he was ready to "move on."

To paraphrase the casino owner in "Casablanca," I'm shocked-SHOCKED-that the Sterlings have backed down from their oft-repeated threat of a lawsuit. Even the Mother of All Trolls has slunk back down his rat hole, seems only the brain dead racist is still talking shit(and making a complete and utter fool of himself while doing so). What happened to that big mouth SEC guy? Gone like a fart in the wind...

If you'd stop whining so much and just ignore me you wouldn't even know I was here. The fact you can't stop coming to this one thread is more indicative of you wanting to cause problems than me.

I'm afraid if you didn't have the RX, you may have committed suicide months ago. This is your life, your only companion and it's embarrassing.

One of the most accurate posts in this thread-other than the predictions of akphidelt and myself on the main topic of this thread, of course-can be seen in the new noun created in post # 899...

I'm afraid if you didn't have me you'd commit suicide. You need to chill out with this weird obsession. You'll be fine. Just ignore me, if you want an autograph pic in exchange that's fine with me. I'll hook you up for your collection.

They are in full hiding. Got to respect those like Cyyyk though. Takes balls to admit when someone you dislike is right. But the rest of them will never admit wrong. They'll just go on the next topic that they believe they understand and think they have a clue. It's hilarious to see them work (and by them it's the select few that know who they are... not everyone). But, it was fun.

Honest gentlemen here. Thanks fellas. Any other useless topics to win an argument in?

I will bet you a dollar on the following

1) Willie doesn't admit how wrong he was again and tries to point to some way that he was actually right about how this would play out.

2) Acebb disappears or says " I never said that" about the sterling stuff.

Thanks man! You can pretty much always bet against these guys. They are detached from the real world and believe in conspiracies and all sorts of other shit. Just another notch in the belt. Might need a new belt.

The funniest thing is almost everything Acebb said was wrong within a day or two, lol. Like not even close. That's no different than all his beliefs. I can't make fun of Willie here, he'll get me banned.

Punk ass bitch, can't say I'm surprised. You're right about ASap, both on the accuracy-or lack of same-of his predictions, and his likely reaction(I know NOTHING, I see NOTHING!).

which is what I said would be a likely outcome

he's bought out on favorable terms, there's no litigation

watch out Seymour, you're venturing into racist territory :)

if he's gone, it's because he chooses to sell the team and he gets a great offer

a far cry from easily being forced out by existing owners, they don't even want to go down that path

to avoid a legal bloodbath which will stain them all, they will have his friends reach out to him and they will make sure a great offer is put on the table for him

yep, I called it to a T

bought out on favorable terms, financial windfall, no vote by the owners which would have set themselves up for costly litigation lest they never made a disparaging remark in a private conversation.

people who thought there would be a 29-0 vote don't really know the legal system all that well. You can't vote to remove somebody for doing something you yourself have done, you can't force a partner out of the partnership for ethical violations if all or most or many of the other partners have committed ethical violations using the low standard you set.

Sterling walks away with more than twice the FMV of the franchise. I'm thinking other owners he's friends with and his family talked some sense into him. (1) take the money (2) don't put your friends in the league through a nightmare, you may lose friends.

I think his recently disclosed "mental incapacity" opens the door to remove the lifetime ban when things settle down. Can't do it just yet, would smell too fishy and there's still a lot of hate (oh the irony).

If the offer was for 1 billion dollars or less, I doubt we have such a convenient resolution.

PS: my two posts cited above were posted 5/5 and 5/7, long before the 2 billion dollars were put on the table
