Since La Tica wanted a serious comment, here is mine. I have been to CR 4 times now and it never fails that a single gringo there is assumed to have already visited the Del Rey or be out looking for some Tica to screw for the week and then leave. What is up with that? And then when I mention I am there on business to meet with some sports book people and its like you must be like the "typical" sports book employee. You say you met some nice gringos, well maybe if you assume people are nice until you are proven wrong maybe you will realize that some of us don't go down there to hook up with a girl.
I know some guys will laugh at me, but when I have gone there I have hardly had the time to party, my longest trip was 6 days. Sucks to not have a long time there, but I have to say the attitudes of people on both sides of the equation there is flat out terrible. A lot of gringos I deal with down there have this rather "interesting" view of the women and the Ticas have an "interesting" view of the men. Oh well, I suppose its just the way its going to be and I certainly won't worry about changing it.

As far as how folks talk to a lady I would suggest not even letting on what sex you are if it bothers you. We have several females I know about that either like to gamble themselves or like to discuss the industry that post without letting on they are a female. They have a posting name that doesn't indicate what sex they are and no one asks. Just a suggestion.

Wildbill - you aren't the only one. Been down to San Jose several times but have never been to any of the whore houses. I don't mind anyone at all taking part nor do I look down on anyone who does but just not a big interest of mine.

Absoultely! at least we think so, and confidence makes women beatiful...Maybe the right way to put it is "CR has more women who actually think, believe and behave as beautiful per capita than any other country in the western hemisphere". Anyway, I'm sure we beat a most of Latin americans, maybe with the exception of Venezuelans and Argentinians.
