Price is in my top three too. But Quick and Henrik are in my top 2, and they're still in the playoffs, unlikely that Price steals a game with one of these two in net. Montreal's forechecking needs to step it up if they want to beat King Henrik.
Splitting hairs trying to choose between the top 4 or 5 IMO, but I would take Crawford over anyone because he is LIGHTS OUT in the playoffs. Unbelievable what he has been able to do the last 2 postseasons.
I agree, but lets not forget that this same Blackhawks team won a cup with Niemi in net. You could pretty much insert any above average goalie in the Hawks line up and they will still win games.Crawford in these playoffs have been NUMBER 1 imo... the ridiculous saves.. the number of wins he has given his team...
Habs are gonna need to pull a kreider to get back in this series. They were the better team but tending took that game. Rook looked like a small rook. Officiating while not defining the game, tending did that, was terrible however. Really uneven and some just flat out bad calls and missed calls. The 3rd goal penalty was weak.
Any more excuses?
Didn't Montreal score a goal with too many men on the ice in game 1?
Take off the homer glasses and youll see I didnt say anything that wasnt true. Im not a fan of either team, I do like how mtl is playing upto this series but no allegiance to either team, no bias just a hockey fan but god forbid anybody anyone have an opinion that goes against either team, their fanbase is up in arms about it if you do. I thought mtl was the better team game 2, 40 shots indicates I wasnt far off. You want to say the 3rd goal penalty was a a great call have at it, I believe and many hockey experts from the sports talk radio im hearing this morning tend to agree that it was a weak call. I did say the rags won on the back of Lundqvist, and that in the end that mtl is going to need to some major luck like a Lundqvist injury to get back in this series....what part is hyperbole here? You probably think Kreiders play on Price was clean too huh lol...no talking to a homer
Their own coach said it was incidental contact then in an act of desperation to rally his team called it a cheap shot.
If the Montreal defenseman was fast enough to keep up with Kreider he wouldn't have had to take out his legs and Price would still be playing.
