Trump is the kind of idiot to start a nuclear war and kill us all over something stupid.

Donald Trump has won in Nevada caucuses with a huge majority. TV network forecasts put the tycoon comfortably ahead in the state but second place is too close to call. With five per cent of the vote counted, Trump had a 42 per cent share, Rubio 24.8 per cent and Cruz 20.9 per cent. Such a large majority is a huge boost for Trump, who is looking increasingly unstoppable in the race to secure the Republican presidential nomination. The result comes after an unexpectedly high turn out caused voting chaos across the state, as reports came in of ballot shortages and identifications going unchecked.

Trump is surrounded by yes men......that's the only people he is comfortable with. The guy can't handle tough question from Megan Kelly and we expect him to deal with world leaders?

He would be a horrible president. He should stick to stiffing people through bankruptcies. That's more his comfort zone.

'We weren't expected to win this one, we weren't expected to win too much at all - and now we're winning the whole country,' Trump roared

Donald Trump: ‘I Love the Poorly Educated!’

Donald Trump was very excited in his Nevada victory speech tonight about winning with almost every group.
He said, “We won with highly-educated, we won with poorly educated! I love the poorly educated! We’re the smartest people, we’re the most loyal people.”

I haven't heard Rubio's routine victory speech yet for his typical also ran finish, maybe he's wised up.
When will someone explain to Rubio that people should only give victory speeches after a win.
Trump at 47% now winning by 25 over Rubio at 22%. That ceiling of 30% Rubio talks about is pure nonsense,
Rubio's pedestrian brain came to the conclusion that 70% reject Trump so they should join him,
he forgets to say that 80% rejects his sorry campaign, & in Nevada only about 50% rejected Trump,
He's dominating hardly being rejected.

This election is a lot more fluid than you want to believe.

Cruz has a MASSIVE grassroots army I have never witnessed before in every state and more money than all the candidates and the RNC combined. Trump lost more than a 1/4 of his support on election day in Iowa, so you better hope he's up YUGE in SC, and I'm not convinced he is.

When the dust settles, Ted Cruz will be the nominee
.

Since the pathetic mush posted this gem, Cruz has got his ass handed to him twice in races he was going all out to win in, finishing behind Rubio, and has gone from about a 6-1 shot to win the R nomination, to about 33-1 up to about 60-1, and the British firm Betfair even has him as a longer shot to win the R Nom than Kasich. That's the damage done in just one week.:):) . If he somehow manages to blow Texas to Trump, he'll be out on March 2nd. :ohno:
Mon 7/18905 Ted Cruz is Republican Nominee +3300
8:00AM906 Field wins Republican Nomination -12100

Melania Trump said down for her first one-on-one interview Wednesday morning eight months after her husband Donald first announced he was running for president.
The former model and potential future first lady spoke about everything from the constant attacks on her husband, his polarizing policy points and growing up in Slovenia before coming to America as an immigrant in the interview with Mika Brzezinski on Morning Joe.
She also brushed aside those who call her husband everything from a 'demagogue' and 'vulgarian' to a 'racist,' saying that the couple has 'thick skin' and attacking her husband's critics for not giving him enough credit.
'We have thick skin, and we know that people will judge him and people will call names,' said Melania, who gave the interview inside her lavish and very golden New York City penthouse.
'They don’t give him enough credit. From June that he announced, they don’t give him enough credit.'

Power couple: Melania said criticism of her husband does not bother the couple because the two have 'thick skin'

Mika asked Melania, 45, how she felt about her husband's stance on building a wall to keep out illegal immigrants and his potential ban on Muslims given the fact that she herself is an immigrant who came to the country from Slovenia.
'I followed the law,' said Melania.
'I never thought to stay here without papers. I had a visa, I traveled every few months back to the country to Slovenia to stamp the visa. I came back, I applied for the green card, I applied for the citizenship later on after many years of green card.
'So I went by system, I went by the law. And you should do that, you should not just say let me stay here and whatever happens, happens.'
She also said that her husband only wanted a 'temporary ban' on Muslims, adding that it was because he wanted to keep the country safe.

As for the wall Donald, 69, plans to build, Melania said; 'I don't feel he insulted the Mexicans.'
'He said illegal immigrants. He didn’t talk about everybody. He talked about illegal immigrants. He opened a conversation that nobody did.
'And after a few weeks, like two weeks giving him a hard time and bashing him in the media, they turned around.
'They said, "you know what, he’s right. He’s right what he’s talking about." And he opened conversation that nobody did.
Shortly after she noted; 'What’s going on in the world is very dangerous. You have people who you don’t know what they will do.'
Melania was next asked how women were treated in the Trump Organization given her husband's comments about women during the campaign, specifically Fox news host Megyn Kelly.
'They're treated equal,' said Melania.
'I see him in life. He treats women the same as men. he will tell you what’s in his heart, what he thinks.
'He will not hold it back if you’re a woman. you’re human, a woman or a man, it’s no different.'

Family affair: Melania spoke on Saturday in South Carolina after her husband's victory in the primary (above with Ivanka and Donald)

When Mika asked again about how vulgar Donald can be at times, Melania responded; 'Well do I agree all the time with him? No, I don’t, and I tell him that, I tell him my opinions, I tell him what I think.
'Sometimes he listens, sometimes he don’t. I follow the news from A-Z. I know what’s going on. I’m on the phone with my husband a few times a day.'
She told the host it was Donald's 'amazing mind,' that first attracted her to him, but was quick to add that she is her 'own person.'
Said the former model; 'We are own people. I’m my own person. He’s his own person. I don’t want to change him, he doesn’t want to change me.'
Melania said, as she has in every previous interview, that she has not spent that much time on the campaign trail because she wanted her son with Donald, 9-year-old Barron, to have a normal life.
She stays with him in new York City, and when she is away her mother watches the boy.
Melania, who said she speaks English, Italian, German and French in addition to her native Slovene, praised her parents, her mother in particular, for the way they raised her back in Slovenia.
She would not however reveal what her cause might be if she became first lady, but did tell Mika she had a few ideas.
That is looking like more and more of a possibility, especially after Donald's massive win in Tuesday's Nevada caucus.

Trump and Rubio "made a deal" to take out Cruz which appears to have succeeded.

Now Trump will probably choose Rubio as his VP and we can all watch neverbend's head explode.

For any constitutional small government conservative who voted for this elite Manhattan liberal "outsider" all I can say is...

GET USED TO IT!

Could be wrong, but I don't think Rubio would jump at the chance to be Trump's VP. It's just a huge risk with such a high variance candidate. The ticket could lose and he is just blackballed from that point on. He is still only 45, can run again in 2020 or 2024, could run for a Governor spot, etc

How many times has the nominee just gone with the runner-up? Not many times in recent history.

New York Republican Rep. Chris Collins and California RepublicanRep. Duncan Hunter on Wednesday became the first sitting members of Congress to endorse Republican frontrunner Donald Trump for president.

Beers-cheers.jpg

“Donald Trump has clearly demonstrated that he has both the guts and the fortitude to return our nation’s jobs stolen by China, take on our enemies like ISIS, Iran, North Korea and Russia, and most importantly, reestablish the opportunity for our children and grandchildren to attain the American Dream,” Collins said in a statement reported by The Buffalo News.

Collins originally supported former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who dropped out of the presidential race on Saturday.

“If we want to get our nation’s economy growing again and deal with the daunting fiscal issues threatening America’s future, it’s time to say no to professional politicians and yes to someone who has created jobs and grown a business,” Collins said, referring to Trump’s business background.

“We don’t need a policy wonk as president. We need a leader as president,” Hunter said Wednesday in an interview with Politico.

“I think you have more Trump supporters in Congress. They just have to come out of the closet, so to speak,” he said.

Their support, which comes a day after Trump’s easy victory in the Nevada caucuses, represents some of the first mainstream Republican endorsements for Trump.

You’re not wrong but I don’t agree with your reasoning. Well some of it I do. (He is still only 45, can run again in 2020 or 2024, could run for a Governor spot, etc)

The reason he won’t be Trump’s VP is Trump won’t select him.

Trump is high rolling because of his outsider, no holds barred, fuck Washington attitude. Rubio doesn’t fit that mold.

Maybe someone with a military background, Petraeus?

Maybe a Governor from a swing state, Rick Scott?

I have no idea who Trump will select but I pretty sure it will be non establishment.

Trump’s Remorseless Delegate Math Means Rubio and Cruz Are Screwed

A crowded field of candidates in the GOP primaries has played to Trump’s advantage on delegate counts, and now it’s too late in the race for the other contenders to catch him.
