Hillary didn't call her a liar, and was nothing but respectful in response to the poor woman, wen asked about it.

This Idiot Drumpf, OTOH engaged the Poor man and wife on Twitter, in the media, and has stretched what was a nice and endearing story and speech at the DNC, to the biggest story in each of several days, has extended the Khan family fame way beyond their 15 minutes, and has shot himself in the foot even further with sane people. That's not any fictitious "liberal Press", that's self inflicted stupidity, by a Stupid and ignorant idiot.

I care about my Country, and have never seen such an ill prepared, con man, candidate get nearly this far. He's like an RX poster with no self control, who has to post on every sick thought in his mind. If he gets anywhere near the White-house, everyone loses big time, including those dolts who he has conned into supporting him.

[h=6]AUGUST 02, 2016 -[/h][h=1]TRUMP STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT OBAMA’S FAILED LEADERSHIP[/h]"“President Obama has been a failed leader who along with Secretary of State Clinton created a foreign policy that has destabilized the world and made it an unsafe place. He is the one who is unfit to be President and Hillary Clinton is equally unfit.
Obama-Clinton have single-handedly destabilized the Middle East, handed Iraq, Libya and Syria to ISIS, and allowed our personnel to be slaughtered at Benghazi. Then they put Iran on the path to nuclear weapons. Then they allowed dozens of veterans to die waiting for medical care that never came. Hillary Clinton put the whole country at risk with her illegal email server, deleted evidence of her crime, and lied repeatedly about her conduct which endangered us all. They released criminal aliens into our country who killed one innocent American after another -- like Sarah Root and Kate Steinle -- and have repeatedly admitted migrants later implicated in terrorism. They have produced the worst recovery since the Great Depression. They have shipped millions of our best jobs overseas to appease their global special interests. They have betrayed our security and our workers, and Hillary Clinton has proven herself unfit to serve in any government office.

She is reckless with her emails, reckless with regime change, and reckless with American lives. Our nation has been humiliated abroad and compromised by radical Islam brought onto our shores. We need change now." - Donald J. Trump

[h=6]- AUGUST 02, 2016 -[/h][h=1]STATEMENT FROM CHARLES WOODS, FATHER OF BENGHAZI HERO TYRONE WOODS[/h](New York, NY) August 2nd, 2016 - Today Donald J. Trump received the endorsement of Charles Woods the father of Tyrone Woods, a former Navy SEAL, who gave his life fighting to protect Americans during the terror attacks on the U.S. consulate and the CIA compound in Benghazi. Ty’s sacrifice saved more than twenty-five American lives, and he is truly an American hero.

Mr. Woods chose to endorse Mr. Trump stating, “I support Donald Trump, and the main reason is national security as well as the economy are the two most important issues that voters are going to have to decide upon next November.”

Hillary Clinton's poor judgment led to these tragic deaths in Libya. First, her reckless decision to invade Libya unleashed radical Islamic terror groups that threatened Americans. Compounded with her failure to provide the necessary security upgrades and reinforcements cost four Americans their lives. After it all, she lied to the world about what happened to cover up the role of Radical Islam. We could have known more about her actions, but she illegally stored and then deleted 33,000 emails.

Mr. Trump stated, “Tyrone Woods is an American hero and his father is a tremendous person whom I have great respect for. His support is so important to me. Together we are going to defeat Hillary Clinton in November and make America safe again.”

[h=6]- AUGUST 02, 2016 -[/h][h=1]TRUMP WIN IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP TPP CATASTROPHE[/h]
Today President Obama Will Meet With Singapore’s Prime Minister To Push The Clinton-Drafted Trans-Pacific Partnership, Which Will Kill Millions Of Jobs
Today President Obama Plans To Push The Trans-Pacific Partnership During A Meeting With The PM Of Singapore:
Today “President Obama Will Use A Visit From The Prime Minister Of Singapore… To Launch A Final Public Campaign For” The Trans-Pacific Partnership.“President Obama will use a visit from the prime minister of Singapore on Tuesday to launch a final public campaign for a landmark Asia-Pacific trade accord, but proponents are losing hope that the deal can survive the strong anti-trade rancor among fellow Democrats.”(David Nakamura, “With Time Running Out, Obama To Make Final Push On Asia Trade Deal That Clinton Opposes,”The Washington Post, 8/1/16)
“Obama Intends To Reassure Singapore’s Lee Hsien Loong During A White House Meeting That Congress Will Ratify The TPP Before The President Leaves Office.”“Administration officials said Obama intends to reassure Singapore’s Lee Hsien Loong during a White House meeting that Congress will ratify the TPP before the president leaves office in January.”(David Nakamura, “With Time Running Out, Obama To Make Final Push On Asia Trade Deal That Clinton Opposes,”The Washington Post, 8/1/16)
Clinton Took A Lead Role In Drafting TPP And Said It “Sets The Gold Standard In Trade Agreements”:
As Secretary Of State, Clinton Took “A Leading Part In Drafting The Trans-Pacific Partnership.” “She's pressed the case for U.S. business in Cambodia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, and other countries in China's shadow. She's also taken a leading part in drafting the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a free trade pact that would give U.S. companies a leg up on their Chinese competitors.”(Elizabeth Dwoskin and Indira Laksmanan, "How Hillary Clinton Created A U.S. Business-Promotion Machine," Bloomberg,1/10/13)
Clinton Had Said The Trans-Pacific Partnership “Sets The Gold Standard In Trade Agreements.”CLINTON: “[We] need to keep upping our game both bilaterally and with partners across the region through agreements like the Trans-Pacific Partnership or TPP. Australia is a critical partner. This TPP sets the gold standard in trade agreements to open free, transparent, fair trade, the kind of environment that has the rule of law and a level playing field. And when negotiated, this agreement will cover 40 percent of the world's total trade and build in strong protections for workers and the environment.”(Hillary Clinton,Remarks at Techport Australia, 11/15/12)
Last Week Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe Said Clinton Would Support TPP As President:
In An Interview On Tuesday, Gov. Terry McAuliffe, “Longtime Best Friend To The Clintons,” Said He “Believes Hillary Clinton Will Support The TPP Trade Deal If Elected President.”“Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, longtime best friend to the Clintons, said Tuesday that he believes Hillary Clinton will support the TPP trade deal if elected president, with some tweaks.”(Annie Karni, “Clinton Friend McAuliffe Says Clinton Will Flip On TPP, Then Walks It Back,”Politico, 7/26/16)
McAuliffe: “Once The Election’s Over, And We Sit Down On Trade” I Expect Clinton Will Support TPP.“‘I worry that if we don’t do TPP, at some point China’s going to break the rules -- but Hillary understands this,” he said in an interview after his speech on the main stage at the Democratic National Convention. ‘Once the election’s over, and we sit down on trade, people understand a couple things we want to fix on it but going forward we got to build a global economy.’ Pressed on whether Clinton would turn around and support the trade deal she opposed during the heat of the primary fight against Bernie Sanders, McAuliffe said: ‘Yes. Listen, she was in support of it. There were specific things in it she wants fixed.’”(Annie Karni, “Clinton Friend McAuliffe Says Clinton Will Flip On TPP, Then Walks It Back,”Politico, 7/26/16)
The Following Day, McAuliffe Doubled Down On His Comments That Hillary Clinton Plans To Support TPP Once Elected President.STEPHANIE RUHLE: “Hillary Clinton's decision to join Sanders in opposing the deal has been a key to winning over a lot of his supporters. But on Tuesday one of her oldest friends, Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe said she may flip her position and actually support the deal when and if she wins the White House. NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, spoke exclusively with Governor McAuliffe less than one hour ago. She joins me now on the phone. Andrea what did you learn?” ANDREA MITCHELL: “Well, he is not backing down. He is saying, though, that Hillary Clinton would make changes to it before going along with it. but since that is the priority of the president, they're going to proceed and try to get TPP on a lame duck session. Right now I am in the Virginia delegation where the vice presidential running mate is about to be coming out. So let me play you a little bit of McAuliffe sound. And if I am distracted, you'll know it's because we are at a live event right here with Tim Kaine. This is what Terry McAuliffe had to say.” GOV. TERRY MCAULIFFE (CLIP): “Let me be very clear she will only go forward if the changes she wants are implemented, that everyone is in agreement, the labor folks are in agreement. She’s not going forward as it is today. So unless the changes are made she’s not for it. President Obama does want this, as you know.” RUHLE: “So for you, it doesn't seem like there's a lot of wiggle room. Terry almost sounds like he's doubling down.” MITCHELL: “It is definitely doubling down and indicating that is the policy.”(MSNBC, 7/27/16)
Trump Has Called On Clinton To Reject TPP, But She Has Refused
On June 28th, Trump Issued A Challenge To The Media To Ask Clinton To Reject TPP, She Has So Far Refused. “Trump then issued a challenge to the media: ‘If the media doesn’t believe me, I have a challenge for you. Ask Hillary Clinton if she is willing to withdraw from the TPP her first day in office and unconditionally rule out its passage in any form.’” (Julia Hahn, “Trump Challenges Media: Ask Pro-TPP Hillary If She’ll Withdraw From TPP On First Day In Office,” Breitbart, 6/28/16)
The Economic Policy Institute Estimates The U.S. Lost More Than 2 Million Jobs To TPP Nations In 2015 Alone:
The Economic Policy Institute Estimates That The U.S. Trade Deficit With The 11 TPP Nations Led To The Elimination Of More Than 2 Million U.S. Jobs In 2015.“The U.S. trade deficit with the 11 other TPP countries eliminated 2 million jobs, as shown in Table 2, which reports the number of direct, indirect, and respending jobs lost (aggregated over all industries). The trade deficit between the United States and the 11 other TPP member countries in 2015 directly eliminated 418,900 jobs. In addition to the direct jobs lost, the U.S. trade deficit with the TPP country group eliminated an additional 847,200 indirect jobs in supplier industries, including jobs in manufacturing, commodity, and service industries. Finally, wages lost because of direct and indirect job cuts from the trade deficits with the TPP member countries would have supported an additional 759,700 respending jobs. The direct, indirect, and respending jobs displaced by the U.S. trade deficit with TPP member countries totals 2,025,800 jobs lost.”(Robert E. Scott and Elizabeth Glass, “Trans-Pacific Partnership, Currency Manipulation, Trade, And Jobs,”Economic Policy Institute, 3/3/16)
The U.S. Already Has “A Large And Growing Trade Deficit” With The 11 Members Of The Proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Trade Deal.“The United States already has a large and growing trade deficit with the 11 other countries in the proposed TPP, which reached $265.1 billion in 2014. In contrast, the United States had a small trade surplus with Mexico in 1993, before NAFTA took effect. In other words, outsourcing to the TPP countries is a potentially much greater threat than it was under NAFTA with Mexico.”(Robert E. Scott, “Fast Track To Lost Jobs And Lower Wages,”Economic Policy Institute’s Working Economics Blog, 4/13/15)

[h=6]- AUGUST 02, 2016 -[/h][h=1]ICYMI: CLINTON’S PANTS ON FIRE DAY[/h]Hillary Clinton’s outright lies to the American people did not go unnoticed by the media. The past 48 hours have seen Clinton earn “four Pinocchio’s” and a “pants on fire” rating from fact checkers, and strong rebukes from editorial boards, interviews, and writers across the board.

Please read the following excerpts from “Hillary Clinton's Wrong Claim That FBI Director Comey Called Her Comments About Email 'Truthful'” by Lauren Carroll,Politifact, 8/1/2016
“Hillary Clinton said that she has told the public a consistent and truthful story about classified material on her emails, and FBI director James Comey backed her up. That immediately caught our attention.
On the July 31 edition of Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace played a video montage of several times Clinton said something like: "I am confident that I never sent nor received any information that was classified at the time."
Wallace remarked, "After a long investigation, FBI director James Comey said none of those things that you told the American public were true."
That’s not what Clinton heard Comey say, she responded.
"Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I've said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails," she said.
Clinton appears to have selective hearing.

So Clinton’s statement implies that Comey has confirmed that her public comments are accurate. That is incorrect.

When Comey announced the FBI’s findings July 5, it was clear that there are obvious inconsistencies between what Clinton said publicly about classified information on her private email server before her FBI interview and what the FBI found. Pointedly, Clinton said there wasn’t any classified information in her email, and he said there was.
Take the video Wallace played on Fox News Sunday. In it, Clinton said, "I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified materials" (March 10, 2015); "I am confident that I never sent nor received any information that was classified at the time" (July 25, 2015); "I had not sent classified material nor received anything marked classified" (Aug. 18, 2015).
But Comey reported that, of the tens of thousands of emails investigators reviewed, 113 individual emails contained classified information, and three of them bore markings signifying their classification status. (Information can still be classified even if it does not have a label.) Eight email threads contained top-secret information, the highest level of classification, 36 contained secret information, and the remaining eight contained confidential information.
About 2,000 emails have been retroactively classified, or up-classified, meaning the information was not classified when it was emailed, but it is now.
"Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information," Comey said in a July 5 statement.
Then, there was this exchange between Comey and Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., at the congressional hearing:
Gowdy: "Secretary Clinton said there was nothing marked classified on her emails either sent or received. Was that true?"
Comey: "That’s not true."
Gowdy: "Secretary Clinton said, ‘I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material.’ Was that true?"
Comey: "There was classified material emailed."

But he also said of some of the classified emails that did not bear markings, "There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton's position or in the position of those with whom she was corresponding about the matters should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation."
We’ll also note a couple other major inconsistencies between Clinton’s remarks and the FBI’s findings:
Clinton repeatedly said she turned over all work-related emails to the State Department in 2014, about 30,000 emails. However, Comey said FBI investigators uncovered "several thousand" work-related emails that she had not handed over to the State Department.
And, Clinton has said her email servers "had numerous safeguards. It was on property guarded by the Secret Service. And there were no security breaches."
Comey said that while there’s no evidence anyone successfully hacked Clinton’s email servers, they certainly were susceptible to attack. There was no full-time security staff, which are found at government agencies and commercial email providers like Google. Further, he noted that Clinton used her personal email abroad, which could have allowed "hostile actors" to access her account.
Our ruling
Clinton said regarding the presence of classified information in her email, FBI director James "Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I've said is consistent with what I have told the American people."
A reasonable person would interpret Clinton’s statement to mean that Comey has endorsed her public remarks about her email. This is not the case.
Talking specifically about Clinton’s closed-door FBI interview, Comey said there is "no basis to conclude she lied to the FBI" about her email practices. But Comey has specifically declined to comment on whether Clinton’s public remarks have been accurate.
Further, while not explicitly rebuking Clinton’s public comments, Comey highlighted a major problem with them.
Clinton repeatedly said she did not have any classified information whatsoever in her email, marked or unmarked. After the FBI investigation, including the interview with Clinton, Comey said she unequivocally did.
We rate her claim Pants on Fire.”

Please read the following excerpts from “Clinton’s Claim That The FBI Director Said Her Email Answers Were ‘Truthful,’” Glenn Kessler, The Washington Post, 7/31/16
“Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails.”—Hillary Clinton, interview on “Fox News Sunday,” July 31, 2016
Clinton made these remarks after “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace played a video of her saying: “I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified materials. I am confident that I never sent nor received any information that was classified at the time. I had not sent classified material nor received anything marked classified.”
As Wallace put it, “After a long investigation, FBI Director James Comey said none of those things that you told the American public were true.”
After Clinton denied that, Wallace played another video of an exchange between Comey and Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), chair of the House Select Committee on Benghazi:
GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said there was nothing marked classified on her emails either sent or received. Was that true?
COMEY: That’s not true.
GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said, “I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material.” Was that true?
COMEY: There was classified material emailed.

So what’s going on here?
The Facts
Clinton is cherry-picking statements by Comey to preserve her narrative about the unusual setup of a private email server. This allows her to skate past the more disturbing findings of the FBI investigation
For instance, when Clinton asserts “my answers were truthful,” a campaign aide said she is referring to this statementby Comey to Congress: “We have no basis to conclude she lied to the FBI.”
But that’s not the whole story. When House Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) asked whether Clinton had lied to the American public, Comey dodged: “That’s a question I’m not qualified to answer. I can speak about what she said to the FBI.”
At another point, Comey told Congress: “I really don’t want to get in the business of trying to parse and judge her public statements. And so I think I’ve tried to avoid doing that sitting here. … What matters to me is what did she say to the FBI. That’s obviously first and foremost for us.”
Comey was also asked whether Clinton broke the law: “In connection with her use of the email server? My judgment is that she did not,” Comey said.
As for retroactive classification of emails, Comey did say many emails were retroactively classified. But he also said that some emails were classified at the time — and Clinton and her aides should have been aware of that.
Here’s how Comey put it in his lengthy statementwhen he announced the completion of the investigation: “Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”
Comey said “seven e-mail chains concern matters that were classified at the Top Secret/Special Access Program level when they were sent and received. These chains involved Secretary Clinton both sending e-mails about those matters and receiving e-mails from others about the same matters.”
He added: “There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position, or in the position of those government employees with whom she was corresponding about these matters, should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation.” He noted that “even if information is not marked ‘classified’ in an e-mail, participants who know or should know that the subject matter is classified are still obligated to protect it.”
In her response to Wallace, Clinton at one point appeared to deflect responsibility to her aides: “I relied on and had every reason to rely on the judgments of the professionals with whom I worked. And so, in retrospect, maybe some people are saying, well, among those 300 people, they made the wrong call.”
Testifying before Congress, Comey said it was possible Clinton was not “technically sophisticated” enough to understand what the classified markings meant. But he said a government official should be attentive to such a marking.
The Pinocchio Test
As we have seen repeatedly in Clinton’s explanations of the email controversy, she relies on excessively technical and legalistic answers to explain her actions. While Comey did say there was no evidence she lied to the FBI, that is not the same as saying she told the truth to the American public — which was the point of Wallace’s question. Comey has repeatedly not taken a stand on her public statements.
And although Comey did say many emails were retroactively classified, he also said that there were some emails that were already classified that should not have been sent on an unclassified, private server. That’s the uncomfortable truth that Clinton has trouble admitting.

Please read the following excerpts from “Hillary Can’t Stop Lying Even When She Doesn’t Have To,” The New York Post Editorial Board, The New York Post, 8/1/16
“Give Hillary Clinton this much: She’s absolutely fearless about lying on national television.
On Fox News Sunday, she again claimed she did nothing wrong in relying on that home-brewed e-mail server, and never sent or received classified material. Then she declared that FBI Director James Comey has confirmed her statements on the matter as truthful.
When Chris Wallace noted that Comey said just the reverse, she countered: “Director Comey said that my answers were truthful and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people.”
Her aides later “clarified” that she was citing Comey’s statement that she hadn’t lied to the FBI. But the bureau chief’s on record saying her repeated public claims are false:
“Secretary Clinton said there was nothing marked classified on her e-mails . . . Was that true?” asked Rep. Trey Gowdy at one hearing. “That’s not true,” Comey replied.
On top of that, Comey said, FBI agents found 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains with “classified information at the time they were sent or received.” That includes eight chains deemed “top secret” and 36 “secret.”
The saddest thing is that the Democratic nominee doesn’t really have to lie here. She could pick another classic Clinton tactic: Declare the whole thing “old news,” note that she’s admitted she should’ve done otherwise — and say it’s time to move on.”

Please read the following excerpts from “Why Can't Hillary Clinton Stop Lying?” Ron Fournier, The Atlantic, 8/1/16
I am angry at Clinton, because she followed up her convention with another unnecessary lie; another excuse for people to distrust her…
On Sunday, the former secretary of state told FOX News’ Chris Wallace that FBI Director James Comey cleared her of misleading the public about her rogue email server at the state department: “Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails.”
That’s wrong and she knows it, which makes it a lie.
“Clinton is cherry-picking statements by Comey to preserve her narrative about the unusual setup of a private email server,” wrote Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler, who awarded Clinton the maximum four “Pinocchios” for her whopper. “This allows her to skate past the more disturbing findings of the FBI investigation.”

I’m angry at Clinton because I expect better. The country needs better.
Her dishonesty could push an unknown number of independent and undecided voters into Trump’s camp or toward a non-major-party candidate. If too many swing voters walk away from Clinton because she destroyed her credibility or because they don’t want to condone her behavior, the nuclear codes go to Trump.
That is why Clinton’s advisers, senior Democrats, and members of the liberal media need to stop covering for Clinton. Stop repeating her spin. Stop spreading her lies. Stop enabling her worse angels. It’s too late for Clinton to come clean, but honorable Democrats should at least insist that she stop muddying the water.
Please, for the sake of the country, tell her: Stop lying.”

Please read the following excerpts from “Clinton Spokesman Goes For Fifth Pinocchio” T. Becket Adams, The Washington Examiner, 8/1/16
“A Hillary Clinton spokesman on Monday defended her claim the FBI director said her email answers were "truthful" by alleging she was referring to her testimony to federal investigators.

Comey has said more than once that Clinton's public comments do not match with what his team found, including when she claimed she turned over all her emails to the State Department.

"I think the question that she got yesterday was sort of suggesting that she had misrepresented things to the American people over the last several months," Fallon said Monday on MSNBC.
"And what she attempted to indicate in her response was that Director Comey was very clear when he was asked in the hearing before Congress last month about the nature of the answers she gave in her interview to the Justice Department and Director Comey was quite clear he had no reason to believe that anything she ever said to the Justice Department was at all untruthful," he added.
Comey never told Congress, "he had no reason to believe that anything she ever said to the Justice Department was at all untruthful."
Rather, the FBI chief said he did not believe she had "lied."
Further, a review of Clinton's interview this weekend with Wallace shows she was clearly referring to her public comments.
"After a long investigation, has FBI Director James Comey said none of those things that you told the American public were true," Wallace said after playing a video clip showing Clinton claiming incorrectly that no classified information was sent or received over her private server.
"Chris, that's not what I heard Director Comey say, and I thank you for giving me the opportunity, in my view, clarify," the Democratic presidential nominee said.
She continued, and claimed Comey said her "answers were truthful" and that what she has said in the past has been "consistent with what [she has] told the American people."
On Monday, Fallon persisted in claiming Clinton meant she had been honest with federal investigators.

Even if what Fallon claimed is true, and that Clinton meant she was honest with investigators, the Washington Post's fact checker still flunked her overall comments and awarded her four Pinocchios.”

Report raises questions about ‘Clinton Cash’ from Russians during ‘reset’

By Laura Italiano

July 31, 2016 | 7:03pm

There’s more “Clinton Cash” trouble for Hillary.
A report out Monday, “From Russia With Money — Hillary Clinton, the Russian Reset and Cronyism,” raises serious questions about the cash connections between the Clintons and participants in the State Department’s failed five-year effort to improve, or “reset,” US-Russia relations during Hillary’s reign as secretary of state.
Key players in a main component of the reset — a Moscow-based, Silicon Valley-styled campus for developing biomed, space, nuclear and IT technologies called “Skolkovo” — poured tens of millions of dollars into the Clinton Foundation, the report by journalist Peter Schweizer alleges.
As the Obama administration’s top diplomat, Hillary Clinton was at the center of US efforts on the reset in general and Skolkovo in particular, Schweizer argues.
Yet, “Of the 28 US, European and Russian companies that participated in Skolkovo, 17 of them were Clinton Foundation donors” or sponsored speeches by former President Bill Clinton, Schweizer told The Post.
“It raises the question — do you need to pay money to sit at the table?”
In one example cited by Schweizer, Skolkovo Foundation member and then-Cisco CEO John Chambers donated between $1 million and $5 million in personal and corporate cash to the Clinton Foundation, the report says.
But Skolkovo wound up making America less safe, Schweizer argues, because it shared advanced US technology that Russia can develop for both civilian and military applications, a concern raised already by Army and FBI officials.
Many of Skolkovo’s research projects involved “dual-use” technologies, meaning they would have both civilian and military uses, the report said, citing one in particular — a hybrid airship called an “Atlant” developed at the Skolkovo Aeronautical Center.
“Particularly noteworthy is Atlant’s ability to deliver military cargoes,” including “radar surveillance, air and missile defense and delivery of airborne troops,” the Skolkovo Foundation bragged in a document Schweizer cites.

Hillary Clinton personally launched the State Department’s efforts toward a Russian reset, presenting her Russian then-counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, with a prop reset button in Geneva in 2009.
The reset petered out by the end of 2011, when Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Hillary of fomenting Russian protests over suspicions of fraud in that year’s parliamentary elections.
But by then, the damage had already been done, Schweizer feels.
“I think the idea that you’re going to help develop a Russian version of Silicon Valley, which, by the way, will be controlled by the Russian government, and then not to expect that the technology will be siphoned off for military uses, is incredibly naive,” Schweizer said.
As early as 2010, cybersecurity experts also expressed deep concerns about Russia using Skolkovo to develop hacking capabilities.
Russia’s FSB spy agency — the successor to the KGB — reportedly keeps two of its information warfare “security centers” at Skolkovo, the report says.
“There certainly is an irony that as we are now concerned about Russian cyber-attacks on the US, that the reset played a role in enhancing their cyber-capabilities,” Schweizer said.
In this latest report, as in his book, “Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich,” Schweizer concedes he found no “smoking gun” evidence that any of the donors who poured cash into the Clinton coffers actually were promised, or received, any State Department favors in return.
“We don’t have an email or a pirated voice mail message saying, ‘We’ll give you money if you help us with Skokovo,’” Schweizer told The Post. “But what we do have is a pattern that shows a high percentage of participants in Skolkovo who happen to be Clinton Foundation donors.
“I think that everybody at the Russian reset table seems to walk away with something,” he added.
“The Clintons, they get their donations and speaking fees in the millions of dollars. The Russians get access to advanced US technology. The tech companies [that participated in the reset, including Cisco, Intel, Microsoft] get special access to the Russian market and workforce.

“But the American people get nothing. In fact, we get a rival — Russia — with enhanced technological capabilities. At best, that makes them a tougher competitor [in legitimate commerce],” Schweizer said.
“At worst, they get a more robust military, with technologies that we helped develop, and that can be sold to our enemies.”
The Clinton Foundation is sure to be a sore spot in Hillary’s campaign for the presidency, Schweizer predicted — tainted as it is, despite its laudable philanthropy.
“At the entire Democratic convention, they did not mention the Clinton Foundation once,” he said. “And it’s been the Clintons’ life work for 16-plus years.”
The Clinton campaign did not respond to requests from The Post for comment on the report.
“All I ask is that people look at the money. Who made the deals, who benefited from the deals,” Schweizer said. “We can’t get inside people’s heads as to why they did something, but we should follow the money.”

Donald J. Trump

STATEMENT FROM CHARLES WOODS, FATHER OF BENGHAZI HERO TYRONE WOODS
(New York, NY) August 2nd, 2016 - Today Donald J.

All Trump wants is for the USA to quit bending over & saying thank you may I have another?...WTF is so hard to understand about that?...He says why is America commiting suicide...We are 20 trillion with a capital T in debt...Let get the political hacks out & get some business people in there who know what the fuck they are doing & put to rest all the rest of this petty bullshit & get this country back on its feet again...Thats all Trump is saying & it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure it out & even you tards can comprehend that...

I would love for you to inform us what Trump would do about the nation's debt, because what he has proposed sure has heck wouldn't do shit to help our fiscal condition. His plan was so bad, with conservative reports noting it would increase the deficit by $10T, that he gave up his proposal and now has nothing. Quite the budgetary wiz....

Those plans are just templates, yeah his sucked but they're all BS. I agree though, Trump likely will not be slowing the growth of debt in any major way because that involves making tough decisions.

I've seen you post this like 15 times so maybe you've got some ideas.

What would you do?

There have been numerous proposals introduced in recent years, from the Bipartisan Policy Center, Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget or the 2011 Bowles-Simpson proposal. It revolves around making significant changes to entitlement programs (raising retirement age, going to premium support plans, etc.) and eliminating popular tax expenditures (home mortgage deduction, as an example). It involves making tough decisions that won't be popular.

Trump's proposal, on the other hand, made no tough decisions, yet someone has the audacity to say that not only would he achieve yearly surpluses (he wouldn't), but that all total debt would go away in 10 years (an impossibility given his plan). Every economist who analyzed his plan said it would boost the national debt, not reduce it. Using phrases like "cutting waste," and "no more foreign aid" are bullshit, as they make up such a small part of the budget.

All of this is to say, if your primary concern is fixing the nation's fiscal problems, it's absurd to support Trump.

Yeah I know, I've ripped Trump plenty for running a fairy tale campaign on here.

At this point though, it is just two candidates running and I doubt either 1 has much interest in "talking tough" to the American people. Maybe if they get elected they will, but definitely not on the campaign trail.

I blame the culture, but I blame the media too though. Walker/Christie try to put their states on a better fiscal path and are portrayed as comic book villains. Bush tries to reform SS and he is said to want old people out on the street.

I think with demographics going the way they are that the best way to fix medicare/SS is honestly to just turn them into welfare programs. Would people rather pay 3% of their paycheck towards letting people have a subsistence level income in retirement or 12.4% towards getting a horrible (likely negative for many) rate of return for 40 years. Then just means test who gets SS and who doesn't. Use a sliding scale to phase it out.

I'd rather just cut loose 3-4% and get to do whatever I want with the other 8-9% (make it mandatory saving/investing even)

Mathematically that seems to be the best option but there is 0% chance it will ever happen. Neither party and society wouldn't want it.

If our monetary policy wasn't so F'd up and people could get more than .00001% at the bank, that would be helpful in having them embrace more individual savings as well.

"It revolves around making significant changes to entitlement programs"

About a month before he dropped out Christie talked about this at length in a CNBC interview. He said it's an issue everyone likes to pretend doesn't exist and that until it is fixed no serious dent will be made in the debt.
