Yeah once backlash forms and it is all over the internet then they have to suspend her. I'm not saying their company HR protocol is really wrong or anything like that.
I'm just saying me personally, I don't care. She wasn't happy about the situation with the tow company and lost her cool, big deal.
These situations seem to be coming more and more common.
I worked at a video rental store when I was younger. This is before they did away with "late fees" so trust me I've heard some shit, lol.
Your Therapist must love you...listen, britt,
don't listen to these haters.
I feel so bad for you, I understand completely how you must feel.
everythings gonna be alright baby.
you just let buddyboy take care of everything.
people don't understand the pressure you are under, the responsibility you have, the sacrifices you've made... bend over... the way you worked your way through school... now reach back and grab your ass...
that tow truck lady is a worthless piece of crap...you like it like that don't you?
The only way I look at it, the clerk behind the counter is somebody's mother who is working and doing her job. You don't talk down to people and try and shame a person for the type of work that they do.
Tow trucks rip people off, as it is a business and in it to make money... that being said, she should have had a little more self control... demeaning people is just a way to make yourself feel better.
So because someone is a mother just doing their job they get a pass for ripping people off.:think2:
Thats pretty logical.
The "they are just doing their job" is one of the stoopidist things people say these days.
Nobody is justifying what she did. I'm just saying everything being on video and the faux-outrage that comes with that is a negative societal trend.
I mean people are flawed and they make mistakes. Is this chick a bitch? Probably but I'm not going to pretend to care.
When something like this happens again in 6 weeks and someone else gets caught on camera, I won't care then either.
Lastly, obviously if you are in a business like that you are gonna deal with a bit more of a disgruntled customer base than normal so you probably want to develop some thick skin. If I had to guess, I doubt the girl behind the counter was effected too much. Probably has heard way worse.
When did I say she didn't cross the line? You can cross the line and there be some justification for it. You know how many people go into those places complaining? It isn't a coincidence. They sit around all day waiting to tow people for no reason. They are trolls.
We've all been in situations like that and wished we could tell the person to go F themselves. Good for her. If she wasn't hot, blonde and working in television then nobody would give a shit.
I like where we are going as a society. Let's just film everything all day and then when someone F's up we sell it to a media outlet and pretend they are Satan reincarnated. 1 week suspension? As Ricky Watters would say "For what? for who?"
