Possible over reaction, but some of your arguments are perhaps some of the worst in argument history.

A school gets an anonymous school shooting threat, principle and cops just say "Well, fuck it, it's anonymous. Not much we can do here, good thing he didn't sign his name on it or he'd be fucked. This guy is keen! "

come on now, you are comparing a school shooting threat with one unknown internet poster saying he wants to punch another unknown internet poster? Of course you would investigate a school or any public threat since its out in the open. But the actual location of Seymour or anyone else on Journey's wish list is not known, and he hasnt shown that he knows anyones true identity just vague comments that he has connections.

I still say there is ZERO chance that any law enforcement agency would do anything other than laugh at someone trying to file a complaint with what has been posted here so far.

If Seymour comes back and posts that he obtained a restraining order, I'll be the first to admit I was wrong

I can't tell for sure but I believe Seymour is kidding around in this thread, if not he would be laughed out of the police station. More importantly, if someone is really serious about going after you they are not going to post about it on the forums. You aren't going to hear a word, online, in person, over the phone, or anywhere else you might get recorded. Trust me I know, not proud of it but when I was younger we used to go out and "encourage" people who owed money to find a way to make it happen. Obviously I never killed anyone but we didn't go eat turkey dinners with them either. When you are serious and wish "bad luck" on someone you don't make a public record of what you are going to do, you just wouldn't do that if you were really in the planning stages of doing something like this. You always know you're safe as long as someone is talking about going after you, it's when your worst enemy gets awful quiet that you might have reason to worry.

I don't even know who you are but you're certainly entitled to your opinion. As for me being up his ass that's for you to decide, I am fine either way with whatever you think. I actually told him at EOG directly to his face that I did not agree with how he handled things after leaving this place, I don't think he should have done some of that, still say the same thing. However I am not going to spend the rest of my life immersing myself in the center of all that and beating a dead horse. It's not my war, I got bigger fish to fry in my life. I learned long ago to stay out of things that do not concern me, just the way we were raised.
