Has everyone started to realize we’ve wildly overreacted to this situation?

Media hysteria created a scare.. This isn't even looking like a 4th cousin to a real pandemic.. Deaths are a tiny blip on a screen compared to anything else..
Death rate up to 4.92% worldwide.

How many deaths before your stupid ass will start realizing this is kind of a serious issue?

150k?

Deaths are one thing. But no one should be talking death rate as it is nowhere near 5%

If we were discussing an investment, would these crazy Hoaxers still be arguing that 5% is the same as .1%?

Who knows with these whackos?

Somehow, they are more informed than the scientific experts, leaders of nations, CEO's and presidents of huge companies and corporations, etc.

Weird.

The main thing I tell people like EveryGamblerDream that are still thinking this is nothing for society to plan around and everyone should be out and about breaking in the roaring 20's is...

"C'mon the J's wouldn't light trillions on fire over nothing"

That's true too, you know they wouldn't.

Someone said it best the other day.

It’s not a situation to be taken lightly but it is overblown. We are somewhere in the middle and I agree with that opinion.

I just don't know if its overblown. It sucks that small business and many other businesses are being hurt, but with the growth potential of this thing - I don't think it is crazy to shut things down and kill it off as soon as possible.

It's easier for me to say this as someone with a job that allows me to work from home if needed and hopefully won't be impacted but from the way this virus spreads, I don't think its overblown to shut down states now to avoid disaster. But thats just my opinion and I could always be wrong - as I'm not an expert on any of this

This is the typical Enflameo arguing tactic. He originally makes an outlandish statement, but eventually walks it back and narrows it into a tiny little nebulous piece of real estate to have to defend.

Here, despite all of his posts that Barman called him out on in a different thread he now only wants to defend “overblown” which he can’t really be pinned down on. He’s a disingenuous poster. Basically, a fraud.

the suckers who joined this gym are locked into an automatic credit card payment that they cannot cancel. the thing to do is max out the card it is on and pay only the minimum payment under the 225.00 a month this gyp joint charges. of course you will be kicked out of the gym after this is over but so what. you save 225.00 a month in the meantime.

And you can have that opinion. Fair enough.

I don't think claiming the media is overhyping this situation is that outlandish of an opinion though. Maybe I'm wrong? Is it an outlandish opinion? I'm not the only one that has that same opinion.

I think I've remained pretty steadfast in my opinions about this situation. It's not a hoax but it's overhyped. I haven't said anything else and still believe it's true.

Do you have any specific questions for me in an attempt to "pin" me down? I'd be more than happy to answer to clear up any confusion.

One question: When you said you put me on ignore yesterday, were you posting fraudulently?

We know certain media outlets/members have an agenda in presenting their COVID-19 coverage to the American public. Not all but some. Fox would do the same thing to if the tables were turned. I don't believe this is an outlandish opinion.

This is not an either/or situation. You can think the situation is real but the coverage of the situation is skewed. I don't think that's a crazy opinion.

The question really is, in the end of all of this, was it all worth it? I don't think we'll ever know for sure.

I took you off ignore last evening after I sent you a PM apologizing for the tone of our back and forth here at the RX. I mean, I extended an olive branch to you as I think you're probably a pretty good guy. If you don't accept my apology (it does take two though) that's fine. I'll just continue a respectful dialogue you whether you choose to reciprocate that dialogue or not.

Spot on post!

You have flea bag enflameo nailed...

Don't fall for his bull shit PM's...he sent me the same PM's "extending an olive branch"...then went psycho when I told him to fuck off...

Facts are enflameo said the following:

1. This is "just the flu...no big deal"...of course he has since backed off this statement some...because he was proven so wrong.

2.This is a "HOAX" by democrats....has abandoned this take entirely...will come back to this one when the rest of the whackos jump back on this in a few months saying he told us all so...

3. "Let the old and sick people DIE so we can keep the economy going"....also backed off this stance some...

Fact is Mac you have enflameo nailed as a fraud...Bravo
