14-10 Eskimos... holding the Ti-Cats scoreless the rest of the this half is imperative...

Big big TD for the Eskimos to end the half to put them above the total. Again, one too many Hamilton scores for my tastes, but this game shouldn't end up that poorly, especially if Edmonton can keep this momentum going on defense. Might make a play on under the 2nd half.

Edmonton over 17 1st half W (+1.5 units)

Alright, so here are my general thoughts.

Things have been awfully easy for Danny Mac to get himself down the field and score. Hamilton begins with the ball, and I'll know whether or not I pissed away my 0.5 units right away. A score isn't necessary, but at least a couple first downs to gain some field position is imperative.

Edmonton hasn't been overly impressive. Sounds like Ray has all day to throw the ball, but this is the situation that the Eskies have let teams stick around... and the longer you let a team this hungry for a win stick around, the more likely someone does something interesting and maybe the Ti-Cats will be right there at the end of this. I think 7 points is a generous 2nd half start for the Ti-Cats, but I can't bring myself to laying on that number when I see +325 for the Ti-Cats to finish within 8. I think that a 2 and out spells disaster for the Ti-Cats in the 2nd half and they'll get killed. Honestly, this play on Hamilton moneyline sort of aborts my Hamilton under 21 play... even though a nice defensive effort by the Eskimos can make this half easily end 17-0 IMO. But we'll see. Again, this is just protecting myself to a lot of possible scenarios here.

Holy hell Ricky Ray!

Hamilton gambled on 3rd and short and didn't get it. Ricky Ray gets the ball at the Ti-Cat 19 and then on 2nd and 10 throws a pick! How the hell do you do that... Hamilton threatening now after the huge return. Ti-Cats can make this VERY interesting here...

Danny Mac hurt on the 1st play from scrimmage after the pick... all momentum squashed right now you'd like to figure... Marcus Brady coming in, not Khari Jones.

McManus down and that hand does NOT look good. Maybe got it jammed to the turf.

The only player I saw on the screen on the pick was Barrenechea. No EDM guy close. Barrenechia just jumped up about 6 inches, tipped it, and off he went. No idea who Ray was aiming for.

How the hell can Ray do that in a situation where a TD might put away the lowly Ti-Cats... once again, Edmonton letting a team stick around that has no business being in a game.

McManus' hand hit an O lineman on the follow thru. May be a thumb injury.

And now Brady is a hero... 1-1 and a TD

21-20 with 10:00 left in the 3rd... Seems like there's been more plays than this run... Clock can't tick fast enough.

Troy Davis also out, right hamstring injury. HAM loses starting QB and top RB.

I'd be lying if I said that I couldn't see this coming, because I feel like I really had this game nailed... but that TD by Hamilton in the 1st half wasn't part of the plan, and the truth says it's probably going to make this a losing night... but it really wouldn't surprise me if the Ti-Cats end up winning this game behind Brady and that we might have seen the end of Danny Mac and the end of Khari Jones before he stepped foot in a Ti-Cats uniform.

I'm perfectly happy if this game ends here, but I'm pretty convinced someone's scoring again... Hamilton needs more rushing yards too... short by 9 at the moment.

Ach, that blows up just about everything... TD Edmonton ends my under bid for the 2nd half as well. Here's to Hamilton giving me a backdoor 2nd half winner.

Jamie Borum with a huge FG for me! 36-30 Eskies, but Hamilton's up the for the half... Just need to hold off the Eskies offense.
