Lots of talk last year about Sweden controversially No lockdown/ Herd immunity approach to handling of COVID 19. Now a year later we have Data and can compare what the lock downs have achieved or not achieved.
Ontario: pop 14.5 mil
502k Covid Cases 8405 deaths(1 per 1725)
Sweden: pop 10.2 mil
1.03 mil cases 14,267 deaths(1 per 714)
If Ontario had followed Sweden No Lockdown approach we would have had over 20,000 dead using Sweden numbers.
If Sweden had followed Ontario approach and achieved similar stats they would have roughly over 5000 deaths.
In all fairness, our cases are about to start declining too. There is nothing we can do to stop viruses....think about the flu.
We need to focus on the treatment and let the virus do it's thing.
When they designed this thing they made it all but impossible to control.
Culling the heard is easier than they thought.
Agreed.....should be able to get Vitamins, zinc, antibiotics, IVM, etc from the health department w a + test. Would keep half the ppl out of the hospital
And what % of antivaccinated people are taking those vitamins on a daily basis? I would say a crazy low amount (although i do agree with you on those vitamins)
Part of the problem....vitamins are expensive and good luck finding Zinc at Walgreen's. The push should be to fortify the immune system....not just go home and come back if/when you can't breath.
Doesn't matter....if they get a + diagnoses go immediately to the health department and start slamming these agents. Better late than never when it comes to the ole immune system.
Would certainly have a positive impact on hospitalizations, death, the spread and overall healthcare costs.
