In some people's minds, Manning choked yesterday when clearly has not been playing well the last 2 months of the season

Funny, arm looked fine when he's throwing tds 1 and goal up 4 tds all season.

Arm so bad that Denver over a td favorite, and everyone nationally picked them to easily advance.

Manning really did look OLD yesterday. His arm is failing him.

Denver would be insane to pay him 19 million next year.....although the problem is.....QB's don't grow on trees and the league is ALWAYS thin on QB's.....there isn't another Luck/Wilson in the draft this year.

So what the hell are they going to do??

I think John Elway ought to take a really good look at Jake Locker.

Jake Locker has almost the same exact skill set Elway had.

No im not saying Locker could be the next Elway.

All im saying is Locker is real cheep right now and the risk/reward ratio is perfect for a guy like Elway to get into Lockers head and see if he can bring the talent out.

If Locker turns into a bust he will be the 2nd most gifted QB I have ever seen that was bust.

Most physically gifted QBs Ive seen that were bust.

1) Jamarcus Russell
2)Ryan Leaf

If Locker does not turn it around he will be right in between those 2 names as most gifted QBs to be bust in my book.

Denver didn't get any pressure on luck yet he still threw 2 picks and had 16 incompletions haha. No way is he better than Rodgers or Brady. No to mention manning has been hurt for over a month.

Did Luck do anything yesterday to where we are all saying wow ? Hell no...let's have some of these QB's do something first.

I never once thought he had a chance in hell of getting a 1st down in the NFL.

that doesn't have anything to do with physical talent

1. he was actually hit a decent amount, as he always is

2. those 2 INTs were basically punts

3. he led 3 TD drives and 2 FG drives on the road against what is considered a very good defense.

That colts team is 3-13 without Luck. Guy is truly a great qb...I'd bet every gm would take Luck over any other qb in football if they held an nfl re-draft tomorrow. Only possible 1st pick would be Rodgers

not saying he's not good and should have a great career...but lets hold off on great until he really starts to do great things...He hasn't done anything great yet..

EXACTLY! It amazes me that so many are desperate to anoint him as this great QB even though he has not come close to winning a title much less getting the job done consistently against the best competition.

What great things do you mean? I assume you mean super bowl..but you can be great without winning a championship...marino, barkley...a long list. He pases the eye test of being great..and literally carries that colt team on his back. Colts gets some talent around him and they'd be really scary.

winning an MVP for starters...getting to a SB... winning and piling up stats in a shit division doesn't quite do it yet
