Thanks Go..

Interested on your thoughts if any on this game. I find alot of value and love LSU in this spot. Will be my largest wager this year by far. I have a 30-13 win for the Tigers hope I'm right and so does my bankroll.:toast:
Thanks for your insight. LSU is so much the better team and I am not afraid of their mindset here as some would think. They know they can put an ass-kicking on this Arkansas team and I just see alot of value only laying 4. I think the oddsmakers really got this one wrong and god I hope I'm right. Thanks and good luck with a Oklahoma 34-30 win.%^_:toast:

You got a good number..I think it's up over 6 now...I wished I had been home this afternoon to play on Texas...I knew they were going to roll Oregon. It's hard for me to get that excited about B-Ball until the regular season football is over..But I am looking forward to going to a few OU games. I think they could be a top 10 team this year.

yup, hit it as soon as thegreek released their lines. 5.5 -6 across board now. texas will be solid, just have to get abrams off the ball

One thing I heard today from my Oklahoma State buddy is that OU travels crazy good to Stillwater, and that half the stadium will be Crimson (or whatever the hell color that is) :) .
True?

FALSE- OSU put in place a policy that does not allow single season tickets. This means OU fans would have to purchase season tickets for the entire OSU season to get OU/OSU tickets. The only tickets available to OU fans were the 5000 reserved to the visiting team (or those from brokers). They expect a crowd of less than 50,000 for this game (holds over 60,000). This policy is was put into place to keep a home field advantage over OU. Money is not the issue. Sugar Daddy Pickins controls this athletic dept and would not let a few 100k keep in the way of giving his Cowboys an advantage over the Sooners.

OSU will have the fan advantage, but its not like playing away in front of 90,000 @ Texas or Texas AM. Look for the fan base to be 75% OSU, but still only 50,000. OU hasnt had a tough Road game this year ( besides OU/TX- which was neutral, but 1/2 stadium was rooting for texas). This line would be 15-17 range if it was in Norman.

Typical Sooner BS. The main reason for this was to increase the season ticket sales, which worked. Overall, this practice increased the revenue to the OSU athletic program. The OU fans being out of the stadium, having to buy season tickets, or having to pay exorbitant secondary market prices is just icing on the cake. As an OSU fan/alumni, I certainly do wish more tickets were available, by offering extras to donors/season ticket holders.

But the fact that it pisses off the Sooners tips me in favor of the decision.

No what it is is typical OSU bullshit. You guys spend so much time trying to figure out a way to screw OU and their fan base that you miss out on the big picture. You guys feel like if you don't beat OU your entire season is lost. What a waste of time. If you spent as much time worrying about everyone else as you do OU you might actually have a chance to compete for Football championships but until that day comes you won't. It's the "poor little us syndrome". Geezus:ohno:

Do me a favor - read what I wrote, then re-read what you wrote, and see if it makes any sense. You sound like a blithering idiot. "Worrying" about OU? You think that affects our football team? Good lord, you are dense.

OU is a better football program with a stronger history, stronger tradition, larger fan base, and more talent. My guess is that's why they win championships. I don't think we aren't winning them yet because we are "worrying" about OU. I'm convinced by your one singular statement you have no idea about football.

It doesnt piss me off. Im just stating the facts. If you think its a way to increase revenue you are stupid. Im sure all the High School recurits at he game will be impressed to see a stadium only 75% full when they are playing their biggest rival. Nice program u got there TEE BOONE

Gravy, I only have a slight lean to Nebraska. But I liked them better at 15. I also like the under play with Colorado's defense having 2 weeks to prepare for the Huskers offense. And I really don't see the Buffs doing a whole lot on offense in this game. Happy Thanksgiving buddy and good luck this weekend.:toast:

What this really comes down to is AD Mike Holder is either going to look like a genius if this ploy works, or an idiot if his plan doesn't work...At any rate, the fans who are the ones getting the short end of the stick are the OSU students who have the desire to see the game. But don't have the finances to buy a season ticket.

Memphis (-14) over Tulane **
This is the story about two teams going opposite directions. Tulane, a team best known for it's defense, has run out of bullets down the stretch. And now that the strength of their team is gone, they have been outscored by an average of 43-12 in their last 5 games. And are now in the tail end of a 7 game losing string. It's obvious by their 56-7 loss to Tulsa last week, that this team has pretty much quit. The embarassing part is they only manged to gain 230 yards against a pretty weak Tulsa defense. And now their facing a Memphis defense that is statistically better than Tulsa's. So it looks like their in for a long day. Memphis on the other hand needs one more win to become bowl eligible. And there's nothing more than the 26 seniors on this team would like than to finish their college careers on a good note at home. And now that RB Steele and QB Hall are getting healthy, it makes this team much more lethal on offense. And after their loss last week to UCF, I expect a big finsih out of the Tigers this week. Tulane's tank is pretty much empty. And my bet is they'll just be going through the motions in this game..Memphis rolls.

I could see it happening, but my problem with this is that Memphis has beaten anyone this season by 14 points except D2 Nicholls state. I think this may be a more difficult pick.

I know what your getting at. But injuries to many key starters have totally dessimated this Tulane team. And they have a total lack of chemstry on both sides of the ball. Keep in mind that the game before Tulsa they also lost to a 3-8 UAB team by 17 points. And UAB hadn't beaten any Division 1 team by more than 2 points all year. Not a good sign for Tulane in this game.

Tulane doesn't look like the same team that outplayed Alabama despite losing because of special teams. Injuries have killed them, but they have actually gotten worse each week. Memphis is a very shady team also though.

Memphis main problem this year came when they got their QB's hurt in the East Carolina game. They were playing good steady football before that. It's taken them a few weeks to get over it. And they aren't quite as potent on offense as they were. But they are getting healthier every week. And they have a very balanced offense. I look for them to look alot sharper than they did against UCF last week. Tulane doesn't have near the defense as UCF does. I like the combination of Memphis rushing for an average of 181 ypg and Tulane giving up over 200 yards rushing per game. Memphis should be able to have their way with this defense.
