Thanks for posting that Army pick. That looked pretty good I thought too. Somebody likes it out there, it just got popped up to 41 which is a good sign. Seems like 45 would have been about right. I'm in at 39.
I wished I had got it at 39. But I would have never thought the number would have gone down from 40 when I played it. Another total that I'm kind of liking is the BYU-CSU Over 56. BYU's defense has been exposed the last couple of of weeks. And CSU's defense looks like their wearing down. BYU has the offense to put up 42 by themselves here. And I think CSU can score at least 14.

GS, have you noticed that the BIG XII South is dominating the North in terms of the point spread. 8-0 the last two weeks.

Yes...Although I did catch the Nebraska/Baylor line at the right time last week and they covered the -11 point spread. But this year the South Division is so improved that it's not even close between the two divisions.

Great job. I was on some of these, passed on some, but based on your thoughts I went 2 units Texas-TT under 75.5, 1 unit Utah St +7, 1 unit Army over. +2 units. I did great on my picks today, thanks for the lagniappe. ( Cajun term).

Nice week for you.

Well done GS. I respect your capping a great amount. It's just that sometimes these Longhorns have to think you'll get it wrong with our team. Anyways.....it's looking great for a rematch. GL.

Nebraska is putrid. :think2:

Had the under there.
Nebraska is still a couple years away yet of having a team that can compete for the Big 12 North title. Callajerk left Pelini with a pretty empty chest of players. But just by looking at the way Pelini operates on the sidelines, I know he's eventually going to build that program back up to where it was. He's cut out of the same mold as Bob Stoops.

That was a tough game to try to cap. By taking Texas Tech what you were essentially saying was you think the second best team on the field is going to win that game. And that's always been tough for me to do. But it makes you look good when your right. Ans as it turned out, the game could have gone either way. It just so happened that the team who had it last won the game. This was a tight line. And even the totals ended up tight. I think the final number was 72.5. And the total ended up 72.

GoSooners, we kind of lucked out a bit on that A&M cover over Colorado. A&M certainly did not dominate that game at all. Despite covering the spread, i actually moved A&M down in my power poll.

I agree. We were very lucky to get the cover in that game. Colorado had a better ypp 5.1 to 4.8. And had 194 rushing yards to A&M's 94. It's very rare for a team to rush for 100 more yards than their opponent and not cover a spread. But 6 turnovers did Colorado in.

We now know CU is still playing hard. I expect to play them this week against ISU if the number is reasonable.

I agree...The Buffs could be coming out of their funk..And I don't ever see a Dan Hawkins team quitting..If the number is right I think CU is the play this week..

We're gonna win the north next year..
