VT Cost Me @ BM, But I Had A Break Even Day There

thanks to UCLA & WM. Big $$ @ BJ, Tulsa, Hawks & Va., so all in all a very good day thanks to your help. Too bad every poster isn't like you here, I don't mean the wins & losses, but the way you conduct yourself. Business and no BS. I occasionally get got up in the rhetoric, which @ my age s/b a no no. But I'm a class A type, so I guess it's my nature.

GoSooners, great day! I try to stay out of all the banter in a person's thread once he has made a selection and is locked and loaded. With that being said, a couple of tidbits on OU-Baylor. Some of the OU staff and players spent time last week watching old Brad Smith tapes(remember that game?). While Griffin had some success, they made him pay. Also, coach Sumlin and one of his assts had some valuable input this week. I know most coaches go to great lengths in preparing a game-plan, but many don't have all the resources. Also, it helped that Baylor had been on national TV three times(W For, Wash St, U Conn) during the week leading up to this game. When is the last time that happened? Big week (OU-Tex) coming up! Good Luck

Random question:

If OU makes it to the national title game and you were sure they would not cover, would you bet against them?

Each week your best bet is the only play anywhere that I follow blindly. Thanks for the winners.

Hey GS,

Any chance you could put in a good word to Coach Stoops and make sure he doesn't embarrass Nebraska by more than 35??

Thanks!

BP...I live and learn every week in this game. This one I'll file away for use another day...I also learned my lesson with Vanderbilt..They are this year's version of Wake Forest..Get outyardaged and win ugly every week. I won't be betting against this team the rest of the year.

I already have...I bet against OU when they played USC for the national title in 2004.
