same to you...wasn't trying to shred your pick or change your side, just throwing out why some may like G'Town...keep up the good capping man.

Well since I'm backing G'Town and since I don't think I'm out of my mind to be laying just 6 points at home with the Hoyas I guess it boils down to our differing view of the Hoyas - you think they're bad and I think they're every bit as good as last years version, probably better. I don't know what Georgetown is/was/will be ranked but I do know that going into the Pitt and ND games they were highly efficient on both offense and defense. Pitt absolutely manhandled them on the glass..a very good rebounding team and Blair has about as many bounds as the entire Hoya team.they can play a little soft at times...losing by 16 or so at home is hardly excusable but let's face it Pitt is probably a top 5 team in the country so it's not the absolute worst loss. Then they lost at Notre Dame, always an excusable loss and they suffered a horrific shooting day from downtown (won the battle of the boards - and the

game basically went to the wire). You say that the Memphis game wasn't a huge win but isn't Memphis one of Cuse's biggest wins of the season - a game that was an absolutely perfect matchup for them since Memphis can't shoot? Honestly, Cuse hasn't done a whole lot, they beat Kansas in a semi-home game, beat Memphis and beat a young Florida team early in the season. I like Cuse and they are extremely talented...they may cover they matchup alright with G'Town, Flynn is as good as it gets and Arinze could do some damage...but Cuse has played (to their credit beaten) literally the 4 worst teams in the Big East - now they face a big road test...bottom line is I can see having Cuse as a side and I thought the line would be closer to 4, but I don't think it's nuts to be laying the points here, Cuse still has to answer some questions.

Huge difference in winning at Memphis and winning against Memphis at home.

Michigan beat Duke at home Cameron, they get smoked like a joint.

Don't worry didn't take it that way. I like the arguing and debating and sharing of opinions as long as its done respectfully like you did.

Gl to everyone tonight.

Ok, I get it. I only do 1st and games on the same team if I am VERY confident the 1st half covers. Like UNC vs MSU I took game and 1H.

Guys I am going to Turning Stone (casino) in upstate NY. I want to play in a few of the tournaments they have running this week.

I am leaving at 8pm tonight and will arrive probably around midnight. I will try to check in here but I am not sure if they will have internet available (they probably do). So if I dissapear, thats where I will be.

Wish me luck, hopefull I come home with some big money in my pocket.

Also HD if you read this how far is Syracuse from Turning Stone. If I am there into Saturday I may run by and catch the Cuse ND game. I can scalp outside right?

very short 20-25 min drive. i head out all the time, it's an easy drive. you def will be able to scalp outside. just go down to marshall st (marshal is where all the bars are) and you can take your pick from numerous scalpers. there will probably be 30k there saturday so the seats aren't likely to be the best unless you get their real early and check out all the scalpers. there is a chance i may have some tickets. i have 2 courtside seats, but will have 3 more this weekend. i have 2 friends coming up from nyc for the game and may have an extra seat. my other ones aren't bad. 3rd level 1st row. if you want to pm me we could work something out and i can meet you before the game and give it to you.

Wow total for Duke game up to 148!!! Any info about that???

Seems standard to me considering the over is always going to be hit in Duke games.

Unless it just got steamed up? I am not sure because my local had it at 147 at about 5.

I agree and tomorrow when I wake up I will check with the Penn State students to see if thier is going to be a big turnout or if they really don't care.

Yes, Michigan State and any Tom Izzo team can win pretty much anywhere.
I know a little late on this thread, but yeah the student section is there and pumped up. These are the losers last year that rushed the court after they beat the Sparties. MSU might have been ranked in the 20's when they beat them. So yeah they care.

Hye guys, pretty new here, trying to take my capping up a notch. Like your threads GimmeDat and have been following them throughout bowl season and into CBB season. Just wondering where you get a lot of your stats from. Do you like one site in particular where everything is available and easy to find? Thanks for the help and good luck to everyone.

penn state students as well as locals are just still not convinced ed dechillis can coach....if anyone watched the purdue game....penn state miraculously shut down purdue for last 7 minutes of the game only to win by 3....penn state does not play good defense!!!!I know penn state basketball and i just have a feeling this game could be a blow out...the only way penn state can win is if we bring back joe and jon crispin who could shoot from half court.....im begging everyone to take michigan state....i know everyone hates the word lock but lets not kid ourselves....talor battle and stanley pringle..hahaha....Pringle got caught in the paterno library beating off....
Yeah those fans are awful:icon_conf

Good job tonight, Gimme! Missed Syracuse/Miami, but was able to pick a nice winner in TexasA&M.

You going to be posting plays tomorrow even though you're outta town?
