München- Freiburg: München -1.5 @ 2.00
many might question that as münchen is struggling so far this season due to big injury problems, but still they slowly turning it around and start producing results.
nothing new on the injury front and the long time absentees Klose, Olic, vanBommel,Ribery and Robben are still out, but Schweinsteiger was back vs. mid week cup win over Bremen and actually made the difference.
bayern s main problem so far this season is scoring but they did it in lastmatches scoring 3 vs. Cluj and Hannover, won 2-1 vs. Bremen and played scoreless draw at Hamburg, which is also a good result.
the last 4 matches will give the team some confidence heading into tonight s game.they will not take freiburg lightly after the bad start in season as they did with some saller team beginning of season. now it s the time to gain points in the league.
Upcoming ECL should also be no distraction as they are basically already through group stage with 3 wins, so all focus on Freiburg.
Freiburg looks good in the standings and you have to admit theydeserve the points they have so far, but looking deeper at the schedule theygot points vs. teams that are expected in the lower half of standings, but lost against all bigger teams (Wolfsburg, Schalke, Bremen). i dont expect that to change today especially after coming of an important home win over Kaiserslautern i see them quite satisfied with their situation. they simply have other matches to focus on to get points against relegation.
that should not be a close match and i expect a similar outcome to last league home win (3-0vs. Hannover)

Köln in last place changed coach after last week s league loss and rebounded immediately with a 3-0 midweek cup win.
although being in last place they actually play quite well at home and being in general in all the games. in home games they played 1-1 vs. Hoffenheim , won against st.pauli and lost in injury time vs. Dortmund. especially against the better teams they seem to show up. coach change and cup win will give them big confidence for today s game.
Hmaburg on the other side is having big injury problems right now. their season so far is mediocre but injuries keep piling up. besides vanNistelroy,goalie Rost,Aogo and Eliia, Ze Roberto and Janssen are a late sratch for today s game and didnt even travel.
Even with them Hamburg showed some bad display ina midweek 2-5 cup-loss at Frankfurt. this is especially meaningfil for them as now they are down to only one competition after not playing in europe for first in last years.
i think the injuries weaken Hamburg s defense and creativity in midfield big time and will hurt them. Köln is a tough environment to play in in this situation and i see a very good chance for a draw or even a home win.
Kaiserslautern- Gladbach: over 2.5,3 @1.87
both teams struggling right now big time in league, but coming of midweek cup wins. main problem of both teams is defense and as they dont have particualr weknesses on offense they play a lot of overs. Kaiserlautern has seen at least 7 goals in 7 of 9 games, while Gladbach the same is with gladbach, actually 6 of 9 gladbach games have seen at least 6 goals. that should not change today, as both teams need wins and will go for it against a direct opponent in relagtion race.

i understand the line, but think the wrong team is favoured here. Frankfurt after some struggles beginning of season plays very solid football recently. in league they are coming of a draw vs. Schalke,where they dominated play in 3 wins before that. in midweek they beat Hamburg 5-2 at home. especially away they are a dangerous team winning 3 of 5 games.
St.Pauli is off a surprising good start. But now they are facing some injury problems and if you look closer at their results they got their points vs. teams that are expected on a similar level and playing at bottom half of table. Frankfurt is better than that and in recent form will have a good chance to get a win here, but at least a draw.
Wolfsburg- Stuttgart: Wolfsburg pk,-0.5 @ 1.90 !! 2 units!! and over 3@ 1.79
Wolfsburg is disappointing so far,but looking closer they actually play well but cant finish matches due to some big defenses lappses. they lost at hoem to Mainz 3-4 after having a 3-0 lead and same 2-3 loss to Leverkusen after 2-0 lead. at home they are still a dominant force and after reading a few interviews of players they have now understood situation and will play much more focused and get their act together in league.
Stuttgart is the right team to start that. Stuttgart is even more disappointing having already fired the coach and now everybody seems to relax a bit after last week s 2-0 hoem win over lowly st.pauli (it was actually quite lucky). that win might even let them let down a bit, but still they have only 7 points and only 1 point from 4 away games. big reason to go againstthem is also their injury situation. 3 defender are out injured (Niedermeir, DelPierre, Degen), Marica and Progrebniak (only offensive thread so far) are a late scratch and Gentner, Boulharouz and Tasci jsut came back from injury and will also likely not be available.
especially bad is the suspension of their skipper DelPierre, which is also the reason to go over for me. he missed beginning of season ,resulting in basically all games going over due to chaotic defense (even the Euro-league matches vs. weaker teams). he came back and the teams stabilized a bit, but now the team leader is out again with suspension which is not good against a powerful offense like Wolfsburg.

Bremen- Nürnebrg: Bremen -1 @ 1.90
Simple as that: Bremen the better team here and tehy are a different team with Pizzaro back in the line up.they turning things around in league,getting 10 points from last 4 games and also lost very unlucky in midweek 1-2 match at münchen.
Nürnberg got a lucky hoem win last week vs. Wolfsburg, but that should give them enough room in relagtion fight to be a bit too relaxed for today s match. Bremen will just outscore them.
i will havea play on the later Schalke-Leverkusen match too , but still waiting on some line move.
