Schalke- St.Pauli: Schalke -0.5,-1 @ 1.87
Schalke struggling big time so far this season. their main problem is defense after lots of changes from last year, but slowly the defense looks better conceiding only 1 goal in last 4 games (incl ECL and cup). they are dangerous up front with Raul and Huntelaar, but problem at the moment is a lack in midfield, which is not getting enough balls up front to the strikers. that should change today. they will have a bit more room today vs. a st.pauli team that will play defensivly, but not with 10 players defending. at home schalke is pressing a lot anyway so they should get enough chances to score vs. a weak defense. it helps that Schalke welcomes backJones from injury in midfield and also that st.pauli is not a solid defense against set-pieces.
St.Pauli as i already said last week is getting results vs. the weaker teams but loosing almost all games vs. the (on paper) better teams. loss vs. Hoffenheim, Dortmund, STuttgart, Frankfurt and wins over Hannover, Freiburg, Nürnberg, gladbach.
so i expect the same tendency here and rate despite the standings schalke as one of the better teams. they will score today and i expect ST.Pauli having trouble to score today.

Hamburg- Hoffenheim: over 2.5 @ 1.89
tough game to predict the side. usually very physical matches between them. hamburghas injury problems, but might have at least Petric up front available. Hoffenheim got a nice home win lately, but mainly beating the bottom teams.
looking at the stats ilike both teams to score here and therfore the over.
in 7 of 10 Hoffenheim games both teams scored and 6 of 10 reach at least 3goals.
for Hamburg its 8 of 10 where both teams scored.
that shows both teams areable to score but also have worries at back. i give it a shot to see 3 goals here and hope it s not ending on 1-1
Frankfurt- Wolfsburg; Wolfsburg pk,+0.5 @ 1.83
both teams playinng quite well right now. but wolfsburg performs well latelyvs. Frankfurt. even Frankfurt coach stated that they are afraid of Dzeko and Grafite up front as they were running all over them last year (a yearwhere Wolfsburg in general was not particular strong). that shows to me that Frankfurt knows it s a bad matchup for them and they have no soulution for it. in a match i see as pretty open that enough for me to take the +0.25 .
Nürnberg- Köln: Köln +0.5 @ 1.93 and over 2.5 @ 1.98
the side is a play on the new upswing in form of Köln. since they changed coach he team seems to work harder and function. Novakovic (back in team under new coach) and podolski are together on a great run. two games since change in coach were 3-0 in cup and 3-2 over Hamburg. they should be able to get at least a draw here against a team on paper at same level.
the over is similar to the hamburg game.
8 of 10 Nürnberg games have seen both teams scoring. especially at home they are able to score , but struggle on defense.
Köln has seen 7 of 10 games both teams scoring and last 4 went over. they are still shaky on defense but with the new confidence and potential up front, both team sshould get on the board and we should see 3 goals here.

Gladbach is struggling big time and has big,big injury problems. i dont see them stopping München in that situation. as i dont like laying more than 0.5 in away game i do a ML parlay with Augsburgand also with Celtic in scotland as i am looking to get around even value.
Freiburg- Mainz over 2.5 @ 1.93
Mainz not a particualr over team, bit they like playing if they have some space. that s what Freiburg is offering at home. Freiburg surprising to me has developed into a big time over team as 9 of 10 games have seen at least 3 goals. besides one game in all game both teams scored. looking for the same today in a pretty open game

Big mismatch here. Augsburg is on a solid run playing for promotion and very condifent. bielefeld was since last game under ultimatum for coach (6 points from 3 games) and started the display with an awful performance and home loss to Union Berlin. they are just plain bad and it will not change today against a superior team.

i keep it short. Dortmund won all 5 away games so far, they know how to play away. Hannover after decent start struggled lately. they have especial problems against the top clubs. Hannover in 7 of 10 over the number and 4 of 5 home games.
Dortmund in 4 of 5 away games over the number. they scored twice in every away game...looks like a 2-1 dortmund win for me.

Night game in Osnabrück. That s a no brainer. They havent lost at home under floodlight sind April 2005. WIll not happen today vs. lowly Karlsruhe.
Game should also see goals with both defenses a bit shaky, but both also able to score

this has been perhaps the most unpredictable season in recent memory in the bundesliga. any team can win any given game it seems. should be overs are staying under, same with the should be unders going over. better teams losing home games then winning on the road against quality opponents. its just too unpredictable and i have decided to stay away from most games (i will continue to play games involving hoffenheim and dortmund as they are the only 2 teams i really have a feel for right now). BOL chriscol, hope the season starts playing out the way it should!
