Bovada still has table tennis odds. Watch for when a new set starts and if the favorite all of a sudden drops large in odds for no reason(no new points have been scored) take the dog. Wins around 76 percent of time.

3 days ago. Favorite wins first set. Odds now -1400. Waiting for second set---no new points he drops to -800. Took the dog at +425 he wins the match 1-3 and wins it easy.

Need an eagle eye to watch all the odds but a definite edge there.

But yes neither feels their advantage is large enough so they instruct multi-million dollar athletes and coaches to go for 2.

I looked at the game. Going for 2 isn't strange at all. Down 11 with 49 seconds left. Might as well try to score as many points as possible. Not to mention you can work on your 2 point conversions in an actual game. You go for 1 you lose you go for 2 you lose. I didn't run it through a sim to see if going for 2 improves chances to win---i would assume in this dire situation it matters close to 0 whatever decision you make...
