I think they popularized the word analytics through the media for close shaves and scapegoats. Running and defense still wins. Coaches that end drives with kickers still win . A guy like Kingsbury will never beat a Jimmy Johnson.
what you guys think about the raiders catch to tie game at 24, one of the newer stadiums not having a better look, To my eyes from that shitty review his foot was on the white in the endzone. That call was very suspicious, took a long time they only showed a couple very distant looks at a newer stadium in las Vegas

One of the few that I thought you have to default to the ruling on the field.
The thing that cracks me up is week after week you see how blatantly the refs miss calls or make calls for and against certain teams in certain games. At this point if you pay attention, it is not the officials having a bad game or just missing a call, etc. It is the NFL fixing games for who the NFL needs/wants to win.
People just say the officials are incompetent or having a bad game, etc.
Am sorry I think the NFL would be doing something about it if they were not complicit in it.
These officials get paid a good amount of money to be at the top of their game and they are graded on
their performance, if the NFL did not like what they were calling or doing during the games
there would be some type of punishment. By the NFL not doing anything, for the most part says
it approves. It approves more than likely because it has told the officials what they want.
Let's not forget they all have earpieces on now and can be talked to by the league office during the game.
On top of if you watch the video and see what McLaurin says after the game about the call and incident
it tells you what went on. He asked if he was good, official told him to move up, he moved up, asked again if he was good, official said he was good, then throws the flag.
You can see this on the video, so he is not lying.
NFL charter is for an entertainment entity, not sports league. Why do you think that is?
So they can't be found guilty of breaking any laws for determining outcomes of their events.
If they were a sports entity they would be breaking the law.

Thank you thawk. It is so true. It is so funny to see people try to defend it. It's like when you were younger and your friend told you there was no such thing as Santa. You didn't want to believe it. We have ALL watched the WWF or WWE as a kid or adult. Vince is a Billionaire for creating an entertaining business. Now the nfl has done the same thing. Vince came out in the early 90's and said we know it is fake, but we are here to entertain you. I just wish the NFL would do the same.
Pass interference is down since the fantasy football era is over. Only used to implement legalized wagering in the states. The leauge is trending back to old school. The workhorse rb is en vogue. They ate their flags in the playoffs. Ff was over by the time the playoffs started. I don't get how they can let too many people in. I don't think it's the players. Maybe a Brady scattered throughout the leauge.. but coaching schemes and one or two flags is all you need to control momentum.
Most of us have played football at one level. We know all the rules, and have watched for many many years. We would know when to call a time out. High school kids know when it is a time to go down and play for overtime. That raiders game said it all. Has anyone seen a game where it is tied and you are playing hot potato with the football. Peewee kids don't do that. So why was it done yesterday in the nfl. One reason and only one is for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES.
Ok have a laugh. Without gambling organized pro sports would either not exist or the pay would be so low we wouldn't see the tremendous athletes. So betting on it is dumber. Thinking it's straight is just naive.
