Pats, as a NE fan, what are your thoughts on spygate? I don't really have an opinion either way but it's hard to ignore right?

I read where Marshall Faulk said the Rams ran three plays in the RZ they had never run before and NE knew what was coming each time. That's interesting.

I must admit, I looked at my oldest son after Wilson threw that last pick and said "it's over." That was the most improbable win I've ever seen in the playoffs (besides Tennessee against Buffalo).

How quickly we forget. Indy was down 28 to KC in the 3rd Q just 2 years ago. This was a ridiculous win by Seattle though.

That wasn't because of stealing signals. That was because Matt Walsh is alleged to have been in the Rams walkthrough before the superbowl and they were going through plays. If I had to bet on it, I'd bet that is probably true. There had been rumors about that before he spokeout because he used to brag about it a lot. Who knows how much of an impact it would've had though. You still don't know when they're gonna call the play.

As far as filming another teams sidelines to steal signals, teams have always tried to get signals and pickup on stuff like that. Doubt it really had much impact. If Jacksonville got caught doing that, it would've been over the next week.

Hell the time period the Pats were alleged to have done it they were better defensively than offensively for a good portion of.

Well, how do you explain not winning a SB since it was exposed? Isn't that kind of odd in your mind?

Only thing that could top top this epic call is Luck throwing pick 6 to cost Colts the game.

Not really for me. Brady can't do much when he's on his back. The Giants defense dominated him twice.

no of course not. That's just variance

Made a few more big plays than the other team in '01, '03, '04

Couldn't make those same big plays in '07, '12. This is the first year Gronk has been healthy in the playoffs since his rookie year.

The obligatory story on:

Apparently beating traffic is more important than the chance to see your team pull out one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history.
With the Seahawks trailing the Packers in the fourth quarter, large numbers of Seattle fans decided to leave the stadium early, costing themselves the chance to see the Seahawks’ dramatic fourth-quarter comeback and overtime victory.
...
unfortunately for those fans who left early, CenturyLink Field in Seattle has a strict no re-entry policy, and they weren’t allowed back in the game.

I laughed when Largent talked about the "12 man." It seems a lot of those fans were gone.

And spygate.. People so obtuse.. Every team tapes signs etc.. Pats were caught taping from sideline which was a newly emphasized thing from league .. Basically they were caught doing 56 in a 55, but the pats haters can't get past it. Like it they were taping from the sideline tyree wouldnt have caught the ball against his helmet.
