What will be even Comedy Golder is when he drops a link from Rense.com to back up his claim.

RT. though I have deservedly earned legendary status as a 32 year consumer of the cannabis, I have not toked tonight and in fact only once (over a week in early October) since mid July.

My quote above was inspired by my 17 year active affiliation with the ACLU and my knowledge of numerous professional colleagues who donate legal time to cases backed by the ACLU.

With very very few exceptions, every case they bring or defend is founded on Constitutional issues. That's a key reason why the vast majority of cases backed by the ACLU prevail in court.

Who is disputing that he went to school in Indonesia?

Still waiting for your source concerning Obama's excessive expenditures in this case. You've made several posts in this thread since my request.

I'm not sure where to find the sources for this info without wasting time searching. I read 800k but can't remember where. This is the closest I could easily find. from the open letter to Obama thread from citizen Berryhill.

"For months now across bloggersville, and... now the issue is surfacing in main line media outlets as well, American citizens–– yes, the ones who voted for you... and the ones who did not–– are 'bewildered' that you feel the need to pay money (in the midst of a recession) to three major law firms to make sure that the American people, who you wish to serve, cannot have access to your birth records in Hawaii or your college transcripts. Speculation is running rampant that you received aid as a foreign student. So, instead of relishing in your victory, those who supported you are having to confront these allegations daily...without documentation or ammunition to counter the claims."

That can't be cheap.

PGUY, appreciate your sincere intent to quantify the allegation of Obama having spent nearly a million bones to do a cover up, but the cite you offer above is just the initial innuendo itself.

The entire series of allegations are based on unfounded innuendo, with the stance of the accusers being, "Unless you thoroughly refute all of our allegations and innuendo, we will presume you acknowledge they are all true."

He can't be serious.

Barman just likes attention sometimes with that over the top stuff.

I wonder what three major law firms addressing cases in 12 or more states as well as circuit courts around the country would cost? I can definitely believe "hundreds of thousands of dollars".

We are of course getting bogged down on the wrong point. Why would he fight it at all? The usual argument puts it in financial terms, "Why spend X when it costs $12 to get a copy from Hawaii?" I'm saying he should just make it public.

Still no evidence. The 800k or one million dollar figure came from somewhere.

Unless the source is someone's ass that this bogus figure got pulled out of.

Quit dodging the issue.

Geezus...instead of paying $12 for a copy of the vault birth certificate...Obama hired attorneys to fight it.

DC attorneys aren't cheap...who cares what the amount is?

And the lawsuits aren't done yet...many more coming. Who knows what it will all cost if he keeps stonewalling reasonable requests for disclosure.

This will not go away.

Perhaps the Year's most Golden Comedy to see RoadReeler suddenly becoming a supposed defender of the US Constitution when he's logged a fair number of hours in this very forum trashing the ACLU, whose primary purpose is defense of civil liberties guaranteed under the US Constitution.

THIS IS why I keep comin' back

To get comedy this golden in other venues, I'd probably have to buy expensive tickets
Keep pushing the ACLU like you do drug use Barman & I'll be forced to post on how you're beloved ACLU defends Child Molesters rights also...By the way the American Criminal Liberties Union IS trash.

I mean, seriously. Obama’s mother is a U.S Citizen, based on that, it matters not whether he was born in Kenya, Utah, Detroit or even the Moon, the man is a natural born U.S. Citizen.
If these folks wanted to pursue a citizenship based case against him, all they need to ask is whether he has held citizenship of another nation as a consenting adult, since the answer to that question would be a resounding “yes”, with the country in question being Indonesia, a logical argument then would be whether he gave up his right to being “natural born”.
It would have been a waste of tax payer money if the Supremes actually took a case on based on that argument…

This only proves your ignorance. The supreme court takes very few cases and they take even less cases that involve crackpots trying to prove a conspiracy theory. And to make matters worse they are even less likely to take a case that is trying to establish that the president elect was born in Kenya when there is already proof that he was born in Hawaii.

So keep hanging on to your conspiracy theory dreams, it only makes it that much sweeter for the rest of us when you guys are proven wrong.

Great Post. And they have already been proven wrong...all 60 or 60,000 of them... its kind of disturbing if there are really 60000 freakin idiot cooks who believe this crap in this country...lol

:lolBIG:

You made a wild, unsubstantiated claim and I asked for proof. So far, you have been unable to back up this nonsense you're spouting.

The fact that you cannot, or will not, provide a source speaks volumes about your credibility.

heh...Joe Jr claims, "He's already spent nearly a million dollars trying to cover this up"

And when challenged as to his cite, he replies, "Who cares what the amount is?"

Thank goodness he's not channeling his energies into something important. But he and other Obamaphobes deserve slack because admittedly there's not a lot they can change for probably at least another 12-15 months, when the 2010 election cycle really gets crankin'

Very similar to some of the grumpiness many of us Dems felt in about Dec 2004
