9ers wouldn’t be +230 if they had a proven QB, they got an all star team of unique pieces

is what it is

I am still concerned about the thumb. He is missing throws(i think) because of it...
Only he knows how it is. What's it been , 2 months since he hurt it ? Whether it's back to normal or not, after 2 months, it should be feeling better.
I've seen some misses also, probably a combination of missed throws and receivers not quite on same page.

If Pats or Fruit want lions at +4.5 we can work something out right now.

I will also take Packers +6(right now) if they play niners first round. Since Pats thinks 6-7 and Fruit thinks 7-8(lol)

I actually bet lions +3.5 on advance line last week, as I think these teams are closer to =, obviously Goff outdoors + the recent historical track record is gonna bump GB some but I think it’ll be competitive.

I’d do SF -5.5 payable in crypto, I said 6-7 so 6 isn’t much value

I have some btc I won in fantasy yesterday ready to be burnt. Should’ve won a full btc but ran into Mike evans 9-200-3, probably why I need to make bets on message boards getting .5 the best of it.

The guy I played had Brady and Evans. 125 points in our league, the highest 1, 2 score this year for any team. Thanks a lot Tommy B. Still wrapped up second place in my Division in my league by backing in. Only worth about four hundred but it's a seasonal win of a few bucks.

Doubt many started Brady after last weeks struggle vs AZ on Xmas, I had him and limped over the finish line to get to the finals but you’re the 3rd person that’s told me they ran into evans yesterday, which is weird since he sucked all year. He can’t be on more than 5% of teams playing in the championship.

(went Rodgers over Brady yesterday as thought that was clearly correct vs Minnesota but it wouldn’t have even mattered)

There are no playoffs in our league. We play it out to the finish which was this week as it works nice and neatly for scheduling purposes for a twelve team league. The guy I played had the worst team in the league. That's why he played Brady and Evans. He is gonna win the weekly pool for the highest scoring team. Go figure.

Weird game

Our championship was Week 16 and had Brady against Evans, which worked out well for me

Unrelated but wonder if more leagues will shift to Week 16 ending

Outside of basketball, obviously every other professional sport in the big 4---you make the play-offs you can win the title.

Football use to have a big home field advantage and those teams with a bye had a big advantage but that has faded long ago.

Obviously it wasn't the home field or bye that brought the huge advantage it was just that the better teams were much better--now it's all parity. Everyone is now building their teams using the same system. Much like in poker the best aren't much better than the average.

Well kinda.

QBs still rule.

Championship likely to be between Maholmes, Allen, and Burrow.

Havent been very many Cinderella runs in the nfl, I tend to agree with you that 1 game variance is big but still tough to win 3-4 straight as +200 or more. Obviously even 20 years is a small sample in the grand scheme of things, it’s just 20 “sessions”

a great QB gets you in just about every single year. But 1 and done does a great qb no favors.

Hell if Niners catch that Stafford punt throw in the NFC champ game Jimmy gets niners to the SB.

Brady is the expectation but most greats have 2 or less super bowl rings. Even Peyton Manning just had dumb luck to get his second. The guy was benched and was pretty much a liability in his 2nd championship. Drew Brees only made the SB once winning once, Favre only had 1(made it twice) Rodgers has 1. Eli Manning was very average but got 2. Ben was a star, won 2 early and that was it...

Depends on definition of Cinderalla i guess...Packers did win as 6th seed. in 2011(i believe). Had to win their final play-off game just to make it in...

That was a strange team. Never trailed any game at any point by more then 7 the whole season and post-season.

Eli's Giants i would say made Cinderella runs in both their championship years. His best team was actually the year after they beat Patriots in SB---went 13-3 and of course that year they lose first play-off game of that season. Eli only made play-offs 3 times his entire career.
