Im waiting for Mayweather to agree to fight Amir Khan. But, like this fight, he will duck and dodge any opponent until he knows he has the best chance to win.

Not sure what you're trying to say. Pacman got 5 years older but Floyd didn't ?

Didn't they make it official before but it was stopped because of something dumb like Olympic style drug testing or something like?

One has been training and still focusing on fights... another retired for awhile, stopped training and went into a whole different line of work. Also, some athletes age better then others physically.

I don't see where he says Floyd didn't get older, like pacman.

But he does Duck/hide/stay away until he feels he has a better shot. IMHO, Floyd would have had a tougher time beating pac 5 years ago

I didn't say He did say anything about aging but I did ask the question WHY Floyd has a better chance of beating Pacman now 5 years later.** Note I put a question mark implying a question }. I actually think Floyd was a far better cinch 5 years ago. Floyd's big advantage is the same advantage Ali had in his younger days... Speed. As We age, speed and reflexes are the first to go. I know as I just turned 74 LOL

you Old fuk

don't remember you being that old when I met you at one of the bashes.... but I could of had a few in me.. so who knows

Agree that Floyd was faster back then, but he's still has some. Pacman being a hard hitter, is much slower. His style is made to be a stand in front of you and Hit, and if he lands some of them, they will knock you out.
Guess no need to tell you or anyone the way each fighter, fights.... we all know their styles. Advantage to Floyd. but what will Floyd do ?? guess just run as much as he can and hope pac doesn't catch him ??

It just might be as boring as some think

Yes I remember when We went to the Hardrock with Coach CB and didn't return until daybreak when We were staying at the Golden Nugget... Good times ! It's anyone's guess as to what type of a fight it'll turn out to be. My hunch however is that it's getting to the end of Floyd's career and I think He will want to put on a good fight. Won't be long until We find out !

I could see this too. Just one last huge payday for PacMan. Just fighting off his name and reputation to even get this fight.

Would have been great 5 years ago. Now it's most likely just a money grab.

Safest bet is go the distance. Manny hasn't knocked out anyone in years, and Floyd can only knock you out with a suckepunch(Ortiz). I'll throw a little on a draw also.

i like the distance idea with you as your right that floyd has not knocked out anyone recently and manny is not the puncher from 4 years ago either......i did say to myself that i would never bet a boxing match again, but making this kind of bet is a little different as i don't have to worry about a bad decision by the judges

the refs have badly stopped more then enough fights to make sure someone wins by TKO cause they would lose a decision

Of course it's a money grab. They're barely getting 8 weeks for a fight camp. For a fight of this caliber, I'd want at least 12...

This fight will help boxing for 1 night....Other wise this sport is dead.....Been dead for 25-30 years.

I haven`t seen a good boxing match since the Sugar Ray Leonard,Tommy Hearns,Roberto Duran,Marvin Hagler days.....No shit.

Those guys never ducked anyone......And they fought for 15 rounds....Not 12 like these days.
