Do you like Macau? I was there when on vacation to hong kong, and it seemed very impoverished. Has it changed?

I love it!

I was there when on vacation to hong kong, and it seemed very impoverished.
When was this?

Has it changed?
I come here since 1996. The Portuguese kept it rather Asian, but the Chinese now make it more Western than any other country in Asia. Main problem is that the local women (those that still have Portuguese passports) have become more Western too.

Did I say that XYZ stock is going to skyrocket tomorrow. Don't buy it folks, we wouldn't want Merrill Lynch or Schwab not paying anyone due to someone getting a little tip, one that hasn't been proven nor substantiated.

This has to be without a doubt one of the most bizarre situations ever. There isn't any mention about any of this at DRF. Nothing period.

Horses are 4 legged animals, and the last I knew, they don't talk. These guys bet on info they had at hand. It's a horse race, anything is possible.

I do question the selections of the sportsbooks used. Why all the small shit style books. Why not go with all the big boy sportsbooks?

After seeing this thread, if I had any thoughts of doing business with any of these books, no way.

These people might come off as a tough guys standing behind their so called principle, and may impress some people, but if you read all the nonsense and think about it, it's just that nonsense.

First off FL reports to NYRA, NYRA doesn't report to offshore books, they can't stand offshore books, as they cut into their profits. They if anything would like to see the books take it square in the chin.

You can name all the names you want, it's not hard to find them on the website.

OOOPS

To the guys getting the run around, don't take any deals from these clowns, why should you have to run your balance through 1 time before getting paid. Screw that, if they make you do that, they are just as dishonorable as the ones that aren't paying. They want a shot back at their money.

A horse is horse, but a horse's ass is what a lot of these shit books look like.

Gentlemen,

I have been away, relatively unexpectedly, since Wednesday. I do apologize for that. I have called Finger Lakes 3x so far today. I will continue to call until I get a response. At that time, I will take the opportunity to respond to the posts that were directed at me in a professional manner. Thank you.

Jake,

Could you tell me who you are calling at Finger Lakes. I called and spoke to Richard in the Racing Stewards office, I can provide you the number if you'd like. He informed me that there is NO investigation nor will there by one. They not only declared the race official but saw no wrongdoing at all.

What don't you understand. There was no rigging of this race. There is some very informative posts in this threads, and a few with comments from Finger Lakes (third hand) about this race.

Let me clue you in, alittle over a month ago, I opened up several accounts at several books, and I am not going to mention which ones. I bet on a race at Aqueduct, on a horse called La Pro.

I bet the max at all the books, guess what the horse won, and won rather easily. Guess what it paid? $6.80 as a shade over 2-1. Did I have a problem getting paid. Nope.

Was this horse drugged, did I have inside info, did I cheat the books?

I had info on the horse, and used it to my advantage. Let's see 6.80 vs $25.

Of course this is hypothetical but it happens all the time, the only thing that tipped you clowns off is the price that it paid, and that the guys bet the max at the same books, other than that, you aren't even crying foul play here.

Lesson to smart guys, bet at all different books, not the same ones your buddies will, afterall it has to be cheating if your winning.

Whatever you say Jake. As soon as you find your conscience the better so you can pay the bettor his winnings.

Jake,
You called Finger Lakes, you are full of it. If you called they'd talk to you in a heart beat if they thought there was ANY wrongdoing! Case is closed and you are just prolonging not paying which you have NO interest in doing!

HTRC,

I am speaking to Chris Regill, the GM of Finger Lakes. I have also spoken to Brad Lewis. Email me at Jake@sportbet.com and I will gladly give you the phone number and extention.

We started at the stewards office as well, but moved up a little higher. As I said, I will have them email me their response, and I will forward it to The General, so you all feel that I am telling the truth.

I heard that the guy who won big on this race had a dispute with Intertops last year and that is why these books are stiffing him....or maybe it is because he refused to give the books his home phone number.

100% we have heard that there was some affiliation between these gamblers and past race fixing. However, we took the bet, and we are obliged to pay, hence we did pay.
