People talking about Bengals offensive line

Why aren’t people talking about how Bills gave up 7 sacks to a much worse Dolphins defense?

They're probably trying to justify a side without looking at the whole picture

As much credit as they give the GM in Buffalo, he sure hasn't put a legit 3 down guy in the backfield to help his qb. He's had years. ..... Those Bengal injuries are a real concern.
Good observation

I thought B Hall was the piece to get RD1 or trading back up Early RD 2. Actually projected Hall To Bills. Been a nice fit. Elam was a nice pick with CB a big need. Hall has J Taylor comps imo and could have elevated the run and pass game. I know RB is frown upon drafting early but bills were win now potential not many pieces needed

Bills haven’t allowed too many sacks. Though Allen has mobility which helps hide sacks. Fish Defense isn’t that bad but they are way more aggressive than bengals. Go watch Bill v Fish like week 3 or 4 game. They pressured the hell out of Allen the entire game and did well containing but just couldn’t get off the field. Allen extended so many 3 or 4 and short gains

Bengals don’t pressure nowhere near as much as Fish. Bengals play much better bend don’t break defense but not as aggressive. Cowboys Fish Niners eagles even Giants are heavy pressure teams with good win rates opposed to bengals who are probably bottom third of league.

I agree in terms of Bengals being more bend/don't break/passive

But more so pointing out that there are clearly flaws in trenches for the Bills as well

Bengals defensive line should win some battles with Hendrickson/Hubbard/Reader. Will come down to ability to make tackles when either Allen or Singletary find point initial point of contact. Bengals struggled a bit with that against Ravens, will need to do better. Guys like Logan Wilson need to play very well

Gonna be cold, possibly a little snowy in Buffalo

Burrow 7-0 in games under 40 degrees

I think Von Miller absence is huge in a game like this

If Bills are going to try and create a pass rush inorganically, they better get home

When I analyze the game, I see more edges for the Bengals.

It'll be chalked up to homerism, but I don't think it is.

I just think if Bills don't manufacture enough pressure they are going to be exploited on the back end. Can Bills generate enough even with the line injuries?

Give Burrow time, the Bengals' receivers should have their way with Bills

Bengals have also done very well against mobile QB's. Allen is a unique talent but Bengals got the players to contain him as much as you can I think, at least in the running game. We'll see

My preseason prediction was 12-5 and Divisional Round loss to either Chiefs or Bills

Pretty much right on schedule, but Bengals are better team than I thought and those teams are a little more flawed (although still good)

I agree and respect your in depth knowledge, thats for sure. I think the value is with the points.
I won’t bet against Buffalo unless its a hedge in something,
Either Josh goes Alien again and its a Blowout or it goes down to the last team that has the ball on the final drive. Just my 2cents! Enjoy the game!!

A quick look at the “mismatchs” according to Next Gen stats. Could be the “hook” to draw the public in playing Buffalo.

Why is the Bills blowout a possibility but a Bengals blowout isn't.

I was leaning to Cincy, but both teams are a shaky investment in this spot, again Cincy was outgained by a dinged up Ravens 364-234, outrushed 155-51, out passed 209-183 by Huntley.
Cincy won on a freak 98 yard fumble runback, 14 point swing.
Were missing 2 OL, might be missing 3, or only 1 pending game day decisions, Avocado needs to keep us updated on the 2 OL in question in one of his daily 25 posts on Cincinnati. Both are in, I am in. One is in, I dunno maybe.
I like how they looked vs Buffalo before the game was stopped.

Buffalo is askew, something is wrong, Allen is off but much more concerning the D allowed 31 to Miami w Thompson! Some QBs play dinged and are 80-90% and not what they need to be to make strong accurate throws.. I still wonder about Allen.

Yards don't really matter. Points matter and it doesn't make a difference how a team scores those points.

Josh Allen is a turnover machine.
