Im glasd the original poster referred a friend. And I AM SORRY the site is down.

But enough is enough. There is NOTHING I can do about it. SO unless BHB is costing someone money or is getting over on somebody then everyone needs to get off my back.

I am a human being just like everyone else. I have other shit going on in my life too. Shouldnt have to answer the same questions over and over. It will continue to be the same answer - We will be back up asap.

AS for the accusations of "other" things going on, and the insults towards myself and the people behing BHB. None of you have a clue. Not a clue.

And it is wrong to talk shit like that unless you have proof of some sort of foul play or cheating from BHB.

you know justin, or whoever you are. i know if i owned a book or any type of business at that, i would not speak to the customers as you do. you talk to them like they are SHIT!

in my book, and in many other customers are alwyas right(most the time) no matter what. make the customer happy, they are your business. if i had an employee like you, or partner that ranted on forums like this you would be gone.

understandably you have a lot going on, and we probably have no idea. but you have to look at our view. we are the customer paying for a service, that has been rarely available lately.

this is your company, all this as you call it SHIT comes with the territory of owning a business.

i never meant it to get to this. but you could come across in a more pleasant manner. who cares how other poster post, you are suppose to be the professional here. so why not act like it.

overall, i liked what i seen at your book in the past. havenet played lately, but see you have been through the ringer. your unprofessional attitude will not help the business.

you sound like nothing more than a spoiled trust fun baby if you ask me. i know this comment will probably get a rise out of you.

but you are running a business here, so act like itPERIOD

GotBookie.com: with all due respect, you might turn your job of fielding complaints over to somebody with a more even disposition and slightly better people skills. Not meant to be a flame, just how I see things.

BTW: If you need somebody for that purpose, I'm available. I have one of the more even dispositions and better set of people skills around. If I'm not available, John Madden is looking for something to do during the offseason, and if you can't get him, I hear John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors are available.

Perhaps my favorite quote of the thread, EXCUSE #105, " YOU GUYS DONT UNDERSTAND THE WORK ETHIC OF THE CENTRAL AMERICAN PEOPLE". I think you have sunken to an all time low, even for you clowns. After reading the posts from the mouthpieces of BHB is it any surprise that this book has been down for most of Dec and part of Nov?

I don't have an account at BHB.

But I have to tell you after reading their posts I'm thinking of sending them some money.

Ok stop laughing let me tell you why:

1. They are easy to piss off. Nothing makes me feel better than knowing the people that are holding on to my gambling money are easy to piss off.

2. Website is always under attack. some hacker out there must think they have some money.

3. Tech support has a terrible work ethic.

If I were researching a stock to purchase and the company had the above three qualities I would have to give it a big thumbs up.

Well, their phones are still on and there are no reports of slow pay. Plus they come on these boards and demand that we quit picking on them because they have no control over the situation.

I suggest to BHB that they stop socializing on these boards while their site is down. They are going to get hazed up, there is no way to stop that, but for them to try to address this hazing is an obvious amature business move.

So if it is the owner posting here...stop. hire a PR person. If it is an employee posting here... you are probably fired.

You guys dont like my people skills, thats fine. dont play here if thats how you base your decision on where to send your money. I thought there were more important things to consider.

As far as me being a trust fund baby, you couldnt be more wrong. Raised on welfare, then out on my own at 17 to tell you the truth.

There is not one person here that would like to undergo insulting posts about them. Expecially when its because of an ATTACK. Expecially when there is nothing you could do about it.

I dont know why I bother explaining myself to you guys. Since all you guys really want to do is piss me off. Maybe this will be my lasy year here. Im sure you might have noticed less contests by BHB....ever wonder why.

Maybe its because no one appreciates shit anymore. As soon as theres one thing to complain about, you guys jump all over it. Then start rumors and throw insults.

Someone mentioned they are "paying for a service". Come on, you are not "paying" for anything. We provide you with a place to make a bet. YES the site is down (because of an ATTACK) but stop acting like you cant pick up the phone. Or check the lines from therx. Get real.

Some of you seem to be the kind of people that would watch a car get a flat tire, then lay on the horn until they get out of your lane.

A little understanding goes a long way.

And if any of you think there arent some real assholes that post in these forums who have their own agendas think again. They wait all day long until they see an opportunity to jump all over our shit. and throw in a rude comment here or there.

Dont be mad at me because Im calling it what it is. There are a lot of "readers" of this site who who dont post but know EXACTLY what im talking about. Half of you guys work for a book, own a piece of a book, or are an agent for a book, and love to jump on someone elses ass.

Stop being jealous our marketing dollar goes 100 times further than yours.

The ONLY VALID complaint about BHB is that our site is under ATTACK.

What I said about the work ethic on Central America is TRUE. Im not saying the people are bad, in fact I enjoy the people.

But things are definately NOT rushed there, and people tend to work at their prefferred comfortable pace.

Stores can and will be closed down for WHATEVER reason, including a big soccer game being on TV.

The point of my post was for people to understand that things take a little longer in Central America to get done. Expecially during the Holidays. That is a fact not an opinion.

at least BHB is being honest and posting there is a DOS attack. I think the guys at BHB have the right intentions and mean well...as they say NEVER EVER a slow pay or NO PAY and that is most important imo.


Hope they get their store back up and have continued success for the years to come. The people that need to be vented on and blasted are the fu cking extorsionists that are doing these DOS attacks on books.

The site has been down forever, every other book that had problems has fixed them. No excuse BHB. Too late in my opinion anyway. I know hundreds of players and know one plays there.

You can only do your best. What you must see is there is only a handful here who are asking questions or making comments. A small % of the population. I do not think anyone will ever get stiffed by you guys and i think the phones are available and the withdrawal process is available. Hang in there and do your best. Posters try and aggravate at times. Just answer them honestly and let the mop flop

scott, justin... gmoney is right. shit, an email to your customers explaining the situation would have been great. hell, even a daily or bi-daily report on the matter. i know DOS attacks cant be fun, but dont leave the cumtomers in the dark. what if they dont know about this forum, and did not right down the phone number to your book?? if my friend did not know me, he would think you guys closed you doors.

payment is number one, but customer service is running close behind

My advice to you is dissappear from these boards for a while. I would suggest at this point that you direct all your time and energy towards your customers and a fix to the problem. All this time spent Responding to posters who might not even be customers is a waste. I know it's shitty when people question your character or assume things that are not true but oh well thats the nature of this business.
