FYI:...my Final CBB Play released on "Super Saturday"
Ok Gang....lets end this very very long day on a winning note with the Warriors...I gave out a loser comp on the Warriors in yesterdays game vs Wisconsin...so allow me to try and make it up with this one...GL to Us and Aloha CC
**TOP RATED PLAY ON: (3 Units)
Hawaii/St Louis Under 133 +101
-Alot of other services are on the Warriors and with good reason...However, I will stick with the total tonight ...and possiblity hit the 2nd Half if the score and game is close or Hawaii is behind at the half...Remember this gang, more times then not the Warriors always come out of the gates slow and then pick things up in the 2nd half....This happens in football and also in the hoops...Why?...I think its due to our home court at one time being so strong that they sort of take things for granted..and against certain teams this is even taken to an extreme....But vs teams like Mich St, of well...dont expect that to happen at all....In those kinds of games vs those big time opponents, who makes the Warriors a dog on their court...more times then not the Warriors will come out focused and thus a high scoring affair usually is the result....
One thing though...is that over the past several seasons...the Warriors at home have been playing more controlled on offense as they take their time running their Flex Motion offense, made famous by UCLA's Coach Wooden...In addition to this Coach Wallace have instilled alot more pressure defense from the Warriors...This, if you werent aware, was the reason why the Warriors were actually one of the top defensive teams in the WAC the past several seasons....Anyways, I am trying to cut this short...Damn, I can go on and on backing up my plays...as it becomes so easy when you put in all the work to get the info needed to do that...Now, that is the hard part..
Ok, one thing I like favoring the Under is the fact that Hawaii although at home for this game...we have to remember that they to had to fly to get home...and St Louis had to fly very far to get here....Hawaii has just played two very hard emotional games, so you have to expect the boys to be alittle drained both physically and mentally...They had a couple of days to rest, but still it takes awhile to get back from the stress of those two games, as well as, the traveling they had to do as well...Furthermore, I dont really think they had to much time to rest at all...As who, gets to rest in Vegas...
St Louis, now has to deal with the travels themselves...not to mention the change in weather and climate we have...Currently, it is muggy as hell here....was also over-cast and raining a bit today, so even more sticky warm weather is ahead of us...St Louis must deal with this change...and its not an easy thing to do, especially on the hardcourt where your constantly running up and down the courts...We just two teams play here and both suffered from cramps...ie, Mich St in hoops...and Wisconsin ini FB....So not going to rule out that possibility happening to St Louis as well...as again, it fucking Hot and damn Muggy here..
Another reason why I like the under is due to the style of play that this Biliken team is known to play...They play a slow paced offense along with some tough defense...In the Warriors game at St Louis last season..it was a very low scoring, poor shooting, slow snails paced game that saw both teams not even passing 60 points scored....In fact, I believe the score was 54-53...with Hawaii winning it on the last second shot by Sensily..
Anyways...with this style of play that St Louis like to run...along with both teams stressing defensive play...Added in with both having to either deal with their recent travels and or the effects on their recent games...I have to expect this one to be rather a low scoring affair...St Louis isnt a team that the fans or the Warriors will really get up for...until the Bilikens start to take a lead and threathen to upset the boys...But that in this situation is a good thing for the under here....I basically feel that St Louis will keep this one slowed down...cause if they try to run against Hawaii...they will surely find out that Coach Wallace makes sure that the Warriors can play both...and yes, even Hawaii's big men can run...and they can also shoot from outside as well..
Dont see a wide open game here...not after Hawaii coming off one of those against the Running Rebels...Still, one thing to note from that game...is the fact that in the second half, it was Hawaiis defense and flex motion offense that they ran, which helped to get the Rebs out of their high paced tempo...and I see them continuing it in this game as well...In Hawaii's last home game against Mich St, G Lojeski drained 8 three's from downtown..dont see him doing it again....Also, if the Bilikens are smart...which I feel they are...they will know that as Sensely goes so do the Warriors...And one way to beat them is to take him out of the game and hold him scoreless.....The Rebels was the first to succeed in doing this...but it did give other opponents for the Warriors a plan of attack.....Could be used again on him tonight...If so, even more better for us and the
UNDER.....GL and Aloha CC.
BTW, Please disregard any typos or grammatical errors..or other discrepancies...as I had no time or energy to edit this..and was rushing to pound out this write-up to back my play up like always..thxs.
