I know Clippers +4 was a Push. I also know that in terms of our foreign affairs there's a lot we'll never know. You and I seem to fill in the blanks a lot differently. No problem.

True. I see things in strictly black and white in cause and effect terms. You see things through your emotional state and that isnt a bad thing but thats where we end up on different sides of the track sometimes. There is a reason why kids history books are purposely filled with lots of blanks and why they dont encourage critical thinking... we dont want too many people figuring out how fucked we are now do we? Kinda would be bad for the system wouldnt it? Got to keep the contracts alive and moving, no? And since we are quoting the legend that is G. Carlin ill leave you with the truest shit hes ever said:

By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to think, and what to buy.

The table has tilted folks. The game is rigged, and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care.

That’s what the owners counted on. The fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white, and blue dick that’s being jammed up their assholes everyday, because the owners of this country know the truth. It’s called the American Dream cause you have to be asleep to believe it.”

read your words, get back to me

you suggested Ben and Mossad agreed with Ron Paul, and added but what do these guys know

if you meant to say something different, I'm not good at interpreting those between the lines meanings

I'm more scared of my postman losing his shit on tomorrow's route than I am of Iran attacking us or Israel. They've not invaded or attacked a country in nearly 300 years yet we've overthrown their govt to install a dictator, assisted Iraq in the Iran/Iraq engagements, and now routinely invade their airspace and kill their citizens.

who's the time bomb and the peace lovers again? :think2:

Very rueful "heh"

*Iran has used their military to attack 0 countries in the past 300 years
*The USA has used their military to not only attack, but also subsequently to fully occupy at least two (formerly) sovereign nations in just the past nine years. They've used their weaponry to kill tens of thousands of men, women and children in both countries (Iraq & Afghanistan).

If I'm another sovereign nation in the northern half of the Eastern Hemisphere, I'm a hell of a lot more worried about the U.S.A. sending in their killing machines than I am worried about any blowhard demagouging being put out by anyone in Iran

Anyone who turns nuclear activity into developing nuclear weapons has to be watched and if needed, dealt with.

So you're ready to endorse the U.S. military invasion of mainland China, North Korea and the core countries of the former USSR? This is an interesting stance for someone who purports to eschew violent responses.

Same thing they did with Iraq, war propaganda. Its a business people, will we ever realize that we are being bullshited? Seriously people, we let that dumb ass bush come in and lie to our face, take us into a war and we don't do shit about it. Now we let Obama continue the propaganda, the next president will do the same. Holy shit, how stupid are we? Goddamn, pisses me off that people actually believe this shit.

It's a bit easier to swallow the fact that your own family member, or perhaps a family member of people close to you may well be involved in essentially murderous actions if you first slot the murder victims as "insurgent, radical extremists who will Kill Us All!!!!" (from 12,000 miles away)

those are orgs in Palestine and Lebanon that Iran has denied supporting. of course we say they do so I guess that's who you'll believe? I've learned to trust nothing that the govt tells me as truth and Iran is probably the biggest victim of terror from the West yet they don't attack back nor do they talk about getting revenge for the 1953 coup or the dozens of dead leaders, scientists, and citizens taken out by US-led opposition in the past several years.

we played this he said, she said game with Iran's neighbor and ended up with egg on our face and exposed as liars, further weakening our reputation in the region and the world. We're going down the exact same road here and will likely end up with the results...kill a bunch of brown people and accuse them of deeds they didn't do....destabilize the region even more and never allow the accusers their day in court like we allow our own citizens.

QFT.....stand strong, brother

An Iranian plot to bomb a restaurant in full of Georgetown students in Wash, DC in order to kill a Saudi ambassador was recently thwarted. But hey, that doesn't mean the clerics who rule Iran are crazy or anything.

A United States plot to bomb the bejeezus out of two different countries and kill tens of thousands of innocent men, women & children was NOT thwarted. But that doesn't mean we should speak ill of anyone in USA military uniforms or anything

how about something we can all agree on...

One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter

Yah

*Combination of 19 (allegedly) Saudi & Egyptian religious wackos fly planes into U.S. buildings and kill almost 3000 people = EVIL TERRORISTS!!!

*Combination of over 250,000 military troops and related war machine weaponry initiate violent and deadly attacks on population centers in Iraq & Afghanistan, killing tens of thousands = HURRAY! AMERICAN HEROES! LET'S HAVE A PARADE!

A harsh reality that we as Americans must confront in the year 2012 is our choosing to either eschew all unwarranted violence or else to applaud and cheer unwarranted violence when it's being carried out by our very own fellow citizens.

Choosing the first is certainly not easy if one is accustomed to the emotional habits of anger, bitterness, resentment and vengance.

Choosing the second is admittedly far easier for many people

Not me man. I cheer when the guard shoot and kills the bank robber.

It's even more fun and certainly more expedient when the guy just runs his mouth at the local bar about how he would love to one day pull a bank robbery and then two other guys stand up and shoot him dead just for talking that shit.

My point is any test whether underground or not would be picked up by seismological listening devices that have been placed all over that area. If a pin drops in Iran we can hear it.

Bottom line is: No testing - no bomb.

So relax- its all propaganda shouted out by ignorant fools who don't know what they're talking about.

While we often have Extremely Differing perceptions about life as we know it, you've hit this one out of the park, New England

No shit? Iranian ships are patrolling their waters and air space with a fucking Armada rolling in of the biggest super power in the world.

The United States of America has every right to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. You make it sound like Iran owns the damn thing.

Transit passage
is a concept of the Law of the Sea which allows a vessel or aircraft the freedom of navigation or overflight solely for the purpose of continuous and expeditious transit of a strait between one part of the high seas or exclusive economic zone and another. The requirement of continuous and expeditious transit does not preclude passage through the strait for the purpose of entering, leaving or returning from a state bordering the strait, subject to the conditions of entry to that state.

This customary navigation rule is codified in Part III of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.[1] Although not all countries have ratified the convention,[2] most countries, including the U.S.,[3] accept these customary navigation rules as codified in the Convention.

Transit passage exists throughout the entire strait and not just the area overlapped by the territorial sea of the coastal nations. The ships and aircraft of all nations, including warships, auxiliaries, and military aircraft, enjoy the right of unimpeded transit passage in such straits and their approaches.

Submarines are free to transit international straits submerged, since that is their normal mode of operation. The legal regime of transit passage exists in the most important straits for the international trade exchange and security (Strait of Gibraltar, Dover Strait, Strait of Hormuz, Bab-el-Mandeb, Strait of Malacca).[4]

ayuh.....Meanwhile, though it didn't get a lot of play in the Lamestream Media, we in Florida were surprised last week to see an aircraft carrier from the Iran military (I S hamedinzabahwandollah) cruise both the Atlantic and then Gulf sides of our state with a handful of U.S. Coast Guard ships trailing.

Everyone here in Florida smiled and clapped and we were all felt very happy and secure knowing that having a foreign battleship just off our beaches is just a "peaceful" manuever.
