Just because I don't hate minorities and think of them as lesser people.....doesn't mean I hate white people. My family is all white dummy.

You only see the world thru your white lens.....it's why you don't understand much of anything that's actually going on.

Oh quite the contrary white apologist.

I want everyone to do well. I despise lazy white people as much as I do lazy monority people.
Difference between you and I is you blame whites for the plight of blacks....totally ignoring the success of multitudes of minority races and religions in the US...all thanks to hard work, sacrifice, perseverance and just flat out getting the fuck out of bed in the morning. Something you just cant wrap your thick skull around.

Congrats, your family is white. Still doesnt mean you dont hate your heritage and what race you belong to.

You kniw what my white privilege is? 40 hours of work MTW and another 15 coming up today and tomorrow for a 55 hour work week....and probably some emails and ppwk over the weekend.

Then I get to shell out nearly 60% of what I earn in taxes to pay my fair share to support lazy welfare leach slobs that your Dem party panders to.

Disgraceful you are.

Im not blaming whites.....I'm just pointing out the advantages I have in being white. You think by helping a minority succeed that it's some kind of hand out. The system is unfair for some.....helping it become more fair is something to be rewarded....not condemned.

You do not seem to understand but I wouldn't expect you to.....you're not involved in anything outside of your house. You only see things thru your lens......step out and see what's going on and maybe you will have a better understanding what's going on.

You think 60 percent of your my tax money is going to people on welfare? You gotta be kidding. You should research where your tax dollars are going. Oh....spending on safety net programs has decreased in 2014 and 15

You really are clueless. You just simply aren't able to grasp it....mentally you aren't capable.

Preferential treatment? That's classic....go be black or Hispanic for a few days.....you will pray to be white again. You are another stuck in his bubble moron.....like Willie in Connecticut and Joe in Canada. You are without a clue of what goes on in the world and how it works.

You dont know a single person on welfare. Some scam the system but most don't. It's like anything.....good and bad apples. The problem is you lump them all together without a clue what you're talking about.

Dense doesn't begin to describe this freeloading moron.

Blacks make up 13% of the population,, but commit about 40% of the crime.

COLUMN ONE: Defeating Hamas in America
By CAROLINE B. GLICK
04/27/2016
Activists from US coast to coast robotically parrot the same lies, employ the same tactics of bullying, intimidating and silencing pro-Israel activists and speakers on campus after campus.
To defeat the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign against Israel, it is first necessary to understand it.

The BDS campaign is an extraordinary phenomenon.

Activists from US coast to coast robotically parrot the same lies, employ the same tactics of bullying, intimidating and silencing pro-Israel activists and speakers on campus after campus.

Their goals are uniform. They seek to silence pro-Israel voices in US academia as a means to destroy general public support for Israel in America.

And they seek to make Jew-hatred socially acceptable in elite circles in America for the first time since the Holocaust.

This month it was leftist MK Tzipi Livni’s turn to fall victim to BDS bigotry and defamation. During a public appearance at Harvard Law School, one of the heads of BDS movement at the school, Husam el-Qoulaq, asked her why she is “smelly.”

Qoulaq is the head of Students for Justice in Palestine at Harvard Law School.

SJP is the central engine of the BDS movement.

Its members are the ones who organize the “divest from Israel” resolutions routinely passed by ignorant or intimidated student representatives on college councils.

SJP members are the ones who regularly harass pro-Israel students and riot or otherwise disrupt pro-Israel events on campuses.

They are the ones who willingly and purposely engage in rank anti-Semitic demonization of Jews and Israel to normalize Jew-hatred in America.

Given SJP’s lead role in the campaign against Israel and American Jewry on college campuses, students and Jewish groups trying to combat the racist movement focus their attention on SJP.

But it works out that SJP doesn’t formally exist.

There is no nonprofit group called Students for Justice in Palestine. SJP doesn’t file tax forms. It doesn’t have a paper trail. In other words, SJP is a ghost organization, an illusion.

To bring it down you need to find its controllers.

The Canary Mission (canarymission.org) is a website managed by students and activists. It was formed “to document people and groups that are promoting hatred of the USA, Israel and the Jewish people, particularly on college campuses in North America.”

According to the website, SJP was founded in 2001 by UC Berkeley Prof. Hatem Bazian. Bazian’s organizational pedigree reads like the who’s who of Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood front organizations in America.

Bazian fund-raised for a Hamas front group called KindHearts. In 2008, like a number of other Islamic groups that were found guilty of providing material support for terrorism in the framework of the Holy Land Foundation trial, KindHearts was forced to disband. KindHearts was found to have raised money for Hamas.

Another of Bazian’s former employers, the Islamic Association for Palestine, also disbanded after it was found guilty of funding Hamas.

According to the Canary Mission’s findings, Bazian founded SJP to distance the BDS movement from its Islamic masters. His idea was to brand it as a radical group that could easily collaborate with other radical groups on campus and so turn the radical establishment into an engine for anti-Israel activism.

Although Bazian went to great lengths to brand SJP as a non-Islamic movement, he had no intention of ceding control of the BDS movement to non-Islamic forces. To ensure control over SJP, and through it, the BDS movement as a whole, according to the Canary Mission, Bazian formed American Muslims for Palestine.

On April 19, during a hearing before the US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade and the Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa, American Muslims for Palestine’s nature became clear.

Jonathan Schanzer served as a terrorism finance analyst for the Department of the Treasury from 2004 to 2007. He currently works as the vice president for research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies in Washington. In testimony before the subcommittee, Schanzer revealed that the heads of AMP are alumni of three Islamist groups that were banned following their convictions for terrorism financing during the course of the Holy Land Foundation trial that ended in 2008.

AMP’s leadership held key positions at the Holy Land Foundation, KindHearts and the Islamic Association for Palestine. These groups and their employees transferred millions of dollars to al-Qaida, Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

Although Schanzer could find no indication that AMP is continuing its predecessors’ practice of sending funds to foreign terrorist groups, he demonstrated how the heir of Hamas-USA now direct the BDS movement. Through AMP, they control SJP.

In his words, “AMP is a Chicago-based organization that is a leading driver of the BDS campaign.

AMP is arguably the most important sponsor and organizer for Students for Justice in Palestine, which is the most visible arm of the BDS campaign on campuses in the United States. AMP provides speakers, training, printed materials, a so-called ‘Apartheid Wall,’ and grants to SJP activists.”

Schanzer added, “AMP even has a campus coordinator on staff whose job is to work directly with SJP and other pro-BDS campus groups across the country.”

The reason that SJP activists utilize the same tactics and rhetoric from sea to shining sea is because officials from the heir to disbanded terrorism funding groups tells them what to say and do. Everything from their “Apartheid Walls” and Die-Ins to their posters and slogans and tactic of shutting down pro-Israel events is dictated to them by AMP.

Whereas SJP doesn’t exist at all on paper, AMP’s existence is eyebrow-raising from a legal perspective.

AMP is not registered as a nonprofit so it is impossible to know its funding sources or the size of its donations, because it is not required to publicize them. As Schanzer explained, funds for AMP are raised through yet another organization called Americans for Justice in Palestine Education Foundation, or AJP, whose nature and behavior are also strange.

AJP’s chairman is Bazian. AJP and AMP share the same office in the Chicago suburb of Palos Hill.

Unlike AMP, AJP is a registered nonprofit. In its 2014 990 tax form, attached to Schanzer’s testimony, it reports raising in excess of $3.2 million between 2010 and 2014. But, in apparent breach of the law, AJP did not report how it spent the money or where it received the funds from.

Like AMP, AJP members worked in the past for the Holy Land Foundation, the Islamic Association for Palestine and KindHearts. Indeed, most of them are the same people.

Not only do AMP-AFP fail to divulge their financing sources or outlays, they revel in their practice of operating at the edges of the law. At AMP’s 2014 annual conference in Chicago, participants were invited to “come and navigate the fine line between legal activism and material support for terrorism.”

Given SJP’s raging success, it isn’t a surprise that Bazian isn’t the only one claiming to have founded it. For instance, Senan Shaqdeh claims that he founded SJP. As Schanzer testified, Shaqdeh, who also lives in Chicago, is listed as a terrorist from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine by the PLO’s Ministry of Expatriate Affairs’ website.

Shaqdeh is also the coordinator of the Chicago- based US Coalition to Boycott Israel. In 2014, Shaqdeh traveled to Ramallah where he met with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and PA Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah.

The chairman of the US Coalition to Boycott Israel is Ghassan Barakat. According to Schanzer, Barakat is a PLO consular official in Chicago.

Like SJP, the Coalition is not a legal entity. It is not registered with state or local tax authorities. But given Barakat’s and Shaqdeh’s associations with the PLO and the PA, it is likely that it is funded by the US-funded PA.

Perhaps money from the PLO to SJP and other BDS outlets is transferred through an opaque New York state registered nonprofit called Wespac. Currently, a delegation of Palestinian students, organized by Bir Zeit University, paid for by Wespac and managed by SJP is traveling through the US lobbying students to boycott Israel.

Schanzer’s testimony should lead anti-BDS efforts in three directions. Two of them are legal, and one is political.

On the legal front, AMP and AJP’s commingling is curious, to say the least. Their failure to report the sources of their funding or how the funds are used appear, at a minimum, to be a breach of reporting requirements. These irregularities, along with the fact that officers of these organizations were in the past officers of organizations disbanded due to their provision of material support for terrorism, warrant criminal investigations by both tax authorities and counterterrorism investigators.

Unfortunately, shortly after he entered office in 2009, President Barack Obama’s then-attorney- general Eric Holder ordered the Department of Justice to stop investigating Islamist nonprofit groups. Accordingly, it is highly unlikely that any investigation will be conducted by federal agencies in the near future.

This leaves state, local and congressional authorities.

Since AMP and AJP are registered in Palos Hills, both Illinois tax authorities and law enforcement and Palos Hills authorities can open investigations into their operations. Moreover, Congress, which exposed the fact that both groups appear to be a natural continuation of banned terrorism-supporting organizations, is fully empowered to conduct congressional investigations of their operations, replete with the power to subpoena witnesses.

As for the operations of PLO officials in Chicago, their work is arguably in breach of the laws stipulating the permitted conduct of PLO officials in the US. Congress can investigate their behavior as well, and determine whether or not it constitutes a material breach of the PLO’s permitted actions in America, and so requires the US to cut off its relations with the terrorist group. Certainly the involvement of PA/PLO officials in an anti-Semitic hate campaign is grounds for a cut off of US aid to the PA.

On the political front, it is vital that Israel fight BDS as the most widespread form of anti-Semitism in North America. Unlike the situation in Europe, where BDS is largely an economic warfare campaign, in the US its goal is political. Its leaders are not interested in harming the Israeli economy per se. They are interested in cultivating anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel to pave the way for economic warfare and actual war against Israel.

Government ministers involved with the fight against BDS need to provide anti-BDS activists with information about SJP’s links to Hamas and with the PA. American Jewish organizations and activists need to call out college administrators when they say since they refuse to carry out divestment resolutions that they oppose BDS, even as they allow SJP to operate on their campuses and even fund the Hamas front group directly.

Schanzer’s testimony makes clear that the BDS movement is part and parcel of the jihadist war against Israel whose goal is its annihilation.

Both legally and politically, it needs to be fought accordingly.

The fascists at the poisoned heart of Labour: RICHARD LITTLEJOHN on the Jew-baiting lunatic fringe now in charge of Corbyn's party

By RICHARD LITTLEJOHN FOR THE DAILY MAIL
PUBLISHED: 00:14, 29 April 2016 | UPDATED: 00:34, 29 April 2016

The new, virulent strain of anti-semitism is driven by an unholy alliance between militant Islam and the Fascist Left. No, I didn’t write that yesterday, I wrote it in this newspaper nine years ago to accompany a TV documentary I made called The War On Britain’s Jews?
The question mark was at Channel 4’s insistence, but I’m not complaining. Back then it was heresy to suggest that anyone on the Left could be guilty of discriminating against any minority community. If it took a question mark to get the programme broadcast, that was fine by me.
My thesis was that self-styled ‘anti-Zionists’ were using their visceral hatred of Israel to intimidate Jews in this country. Does anybody today, outside of the lunatic fringe which now runs the modern Labour Party, doubt that I got it right?

Ken Livingstone, pictured, would have been Labour leader if he had been an MP after the last election

Naz 'the Nazi' Shah,
pictured, supported the transportation of Jews in Israel to the United States

The difference is that the malignant anti-semitism of the Far Left has gone mainstream. For the past couple of months there has been a disturbing upsurge of anti-Jewish sentiment from so-called ‘liberals’ at the heart of the Labour establishment.
It has come to a head with revolting remarks about Jews — first from Naz Shah, Parliamentary Private Secretary to Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell, and then, with depressing predictability, from former London Mayor Ken Livingstone.

.
Naz by name, Nazi by nature, was revealed to have backed the transportation of Jews in Israel to the United States. Red Ken rallied to her defence by claiming, absurdly, that Hitler was a Zionist.

But we shouldn’t waste too much time on Nasty Naz — even though it would be wrong to dismiss her as just another dopey bird with a fatal Facebook addiction.

Jew-baiting is what it takes to get elected in the ‘Israel Free Zone’ of Bradford West these days. How else did she manage to unseat PLO puppet George Galloway? Her views are largely consistent with vast numbers of her Muslim constituents. And don’t forget that until this week she was a member of a Commons committee investigating anti-semitism.

You couldn’t make it up.

What’s most hypocritical — nay, hilarious — is the reaction of the Labour leadership. Naz and Livingstone have both had their membership of the party suspended, as the Corbynistas have belatedly ruffled their political petticoats like a Victorian maiden aunt confronted with an uncovered chair-leg. They’ve come over all Lady Bracknell.

An anti-semite? In the Labour Party? Quickly, fetch the smelling salts, Chlamydia!

Shah was until recently a bag-carrier for Red Ken’s old Greater London Council running mate John McDonnell. Back in the Eighties, Livingstone and McDonnell were joined at the hip — united in their pro-IRA, pro-Palestinian terrorists, anti-American, anti-Israel, Wolfie Smith-style socialism.

Just how extreme do you have to be to be too extreme for John McDonnell? It’s a bit like Gazza having a quiet word about your drinking.

What you have to remember here is that Livingstone is the life and soul of the new three-quid-a-pop Labour Party. As I wrote a few months ago, the only reason Jeremy Corbyn got elected leader is because Livingstone wasn’t on the ticket. Had Red Ken been an MP last summer, he would have waltzed home.

The only surprise is that anyone is surprised at Livingstone’s rabid anti-semitism. He’s got plenty of history, not least the time he compared a Jewish reporter from London’s Evening Standard to a Nazi concentration camp guard. He’s obsessed with Hitler.

When accused of anti-semitism, he resorts to semantics, just as he did yesterday. And until now, his brothers-in-arms have been happy to indulge him and the rest of the Jew-haters in the party.

Consider Corbyn’s initial reaction to the Nazi Shah comments, which he dismissed as ‘historic’.

This is a man who sits on the front bench alongside his plus-sized deputy, Nonce Finder General Tom Watson — a muck-raking, dirt-throwing, smear-monger who has spent the past few years accusing assorted Tories of ‘historic’ sex crimes dating back decades and using his position to demand full-scale police investigations.

Yet as far as Corbyn was concerned, anti-Jewish remarks made by a Labour politician two years ago were ‘historic’ and thus unworthy of further comment.

Again, you couldn’t, etc . . .

But what else should we expect? I’m prepared to concede that Corbyn doesn’t consider himself an anti-semite — despite counting among his ‘friends’ the likes of Hamas and Hezbollah, whose sole purpose in life is wiping Jews off the face of the earth.

He spent most of yesterday hiding behind the sofa as the crisis unfolded and the Boys In The Bubble went into a feeding frenzy. Assorted Labour MPs came out of the woodwork to demand strong action against Livingstone and insist that he wasn’t representative of their party.

Two questions. Where have they been for the past ten years? And what makes them think that Livingstone’s abhorrent views are in any way ‘unrepresentative’?

When I was making my documentary, almost nobody would come forward to speak out publicly. There was one hero prepared to put his head above the parapet — the Bassetlaw MP John Mann. And yesterday he was again front and centre in denouncing Livingstone — a crime for which he was reprimanded by the chief whip.

Also on that programme was the columnist Nick Cohen, who has always considered himself of the Left, but was horrified at the direction his comrades were taking. Cohen, who lives in Islington, North London, identified what he described as ‘dinner party anti-semitism’ — insidious chatter ostensibly aimed at Israel but actually designed to denigrate all Jews.

My TV show was originally designed to mark the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Cable street in 1936

The North London dinner party brigade are now in charge of Labour, bolstered by embittered, anti-Israel social media class warriors.
Islington is Corbynista Central. The kind of views expressed by Nazi Shah and Red Ken are considered quite respectable in such circles.
Primarily, they are motivated by blind hatred of Israel, and bovine worship of Islamist terrorists in the Palestinian territories. But there are also political considerations.
The Left’s world view is divided into ‘victims’ and ‘oppressors’. They consider the Jewish community not only to be successful, and therefore ‘oppressors’, but also pro-Israel, which is the worst crime in the world in their book.
Plus, in electoral terms, Britain’s Jewish population is outnumbered ten to one by Muslims. Yet historically, British Jews supported Labour and vice versa.
My programme was originally designed to mark the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street, when Jews, trades unionists and Labour activists stood together to repel a march by Oswald Mosley’s Blackshirts through London’s East End.

.
These days the real fascists are on the Far Left. And increasingly at the poisoned heart of the Labour Party. Maybe this is the week that everyone finally woke up to that fact.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of Cable Street. Let’s hope it also marks the end of the War On Britain’s Jews.

A village in County Durham is being terrorised by peacocks, who are accused of holding all-night parties and keeping residents awake.

More than 100 people in Ushaw Moor have complained about loss of sleep caused by constant screeching, damage to cars and bedding plants, as well as widespread defecation, and have signed a petition to get rid of them.
Cock of the walk is a large peacock called Dave, who struts around as if he owns the place.

Females have been spotted grooming themselves in windows and patio doors, as they compete for Dave’s attention.
We are not told the male-to-female ratio, but it isn’t hard to imagine fights breaking out after a hard night’s partying.
That might explain some of the screeching as Cawl Me Dave asserts his supremacy.
‘Oi, are you looking at my bird!’
Pixie Balls-Cooper has been on her hind legs again, urging us to take in more migrants.
The Daily Mail agrees with her, at least when it comes to giving sanctuary to children.
So perhaps she can finally tell us when she is going to keep her promise to welcome some Syrian refugees into one of her own two beautiful homes.

[h=1]DAILY MAIL COMMENT: Labour's anti-semites put the party in peril[/h]

By DAILY MAIL COMMENT
PUBLISHED: 01:34, 29 April 2016 | UPDATED: 01:57, 29 April 2016

In truly shameful scenes, Labour yesterday descended into civil war as moderate MPs battled to make Jeremy Corbyn confront anti-semitism.
At every stage of the crisis engulfing his party, Mr Corbyn has not just shown himself to be weak and lamentably lacking in urgency, he’s also reacted with the blithe complacency of a man who just doesn’t get it.
Mr Corbyn gave not the faintest sign of understanding how monstrously and deliberately offensive it was of his long-term ally Ken Livingstone to make the absurd claim that Hitler was a Zionist.

Jeremy Corbyn failed to understand how offensive it was for Livingstone to describe Hitler as a Zionist

Tellingly, the Labour leader’s first reaction yesterday morning was apparently to tell colleagues he would suspend his old comrade only if John Mann, the Labour MP who’d quite rightly denounced the Hitler remark, was suspended too.

.
The parliamentary party then had to force a recalcitrant Mr Corbyn to take sanctions against Mr Livingstone.
Labour has a proud history of treating all forms of racism as completely intolerable. But for many years a virulent strain of anti-Semitism has been developing largely unobserved on the far Left of the party.
Now that wing is in charge, with Mr Corbyn as leader, John McDonnell as shadow Chancellor, and Mr Livingstone as a self-appointed mouthpiece for their socialist ideology.
Earlier this week, the Bradford West MP Naz Shah, who was also Mr McDonnell’s parliamentary aide, had to be suspended from the party after she was found to have endorsed the insulting suggestion that all Jews in Israel should be transported to the United States.
Then too, Mr Corbyn proved culpably reluctant to take action. For the Labour leader has lived so long in a self-congratulatory hard-Left milieu where anti-semitism is the norm that he could not see what the fuss was about.
It is impossible to exaggerate how dismayed ordinary Labour supporters feel at this failure to take firm action.
Yet Mr Corbyn still insists there’s no crisis and hints that if MPs try to get rid of him he will set his activists on them. This sorry saga raises a profound question…
Is Mr Corbyn capable of recognising that by failing to eradicate anti-semitism, he is not just making his party unelectable, but is in danger of destroying it?

[h=1]How left-winger Ken Livingstone once called a Jewish journalist a 'Nazi war criminal', told property developers 'to try your luck in Iran' and hugged a sheikh who backed suicide bombings on Israeli children[/h]
  • Ken Livingstone suspended by Labour after saying Hitler was a Zionist
  • In 2006 compared a Jewish journalist to a Nazi concentration camp guard
  • Previously edited left-wing paper that ran cartoons offensive to Jews
  • Hugged extremist sheikh who legitimised suicide bombings in Israel

Ken Livingstone's suspension from Labour today for saying Hitler was a Zionist follows years of being dogged by claims he is anti-Semitic.
Red Ken once compared a Jewish journalist to a Nazi concentration camp guard and asked him if he was a Nazi war criminal.
And also while Mayor of London he told Jewish property developers to 'go back to Iran and try their luck' - a nation notorious for its hatred of Israel.
Today he faces investigation for 'bringing Labour into disrepute' for comments which led to him being accused of being a 'Nazi sympathiser'.
He had defended suspended MP Naz Shah over offensive social media posts demanding Israelis move to America, with Mr Livingstone insisting that while her remarks were not anti-Semitic, just 'over the top'.
Mr Livingstone is no stranger to finding himself in hot water - in 2006 a High Court judge said he made 'unnecessarily offensive' and 'indefensible' remarks likening a Jewish reporter to a Nazi concentration camp guard.
He made his remarks after a party at City Hall marking 20 years since former Culture Secretary Chris Smith's became Britain's first openly gay MP.
When Mr Livingstone was asked by Mr Finegold, whether he had enjoyed the party, the mayor likened him to a 'German war criminal'.
When Mr Finegold told him he was Jewish and found his remarks offensive, Mr Livingstone said: 'Well you might be, but actually you are just like a concentration camp guard - you are just doing it because you are paid to, aren't you?'
He also told the reporter to 'work for a paper that doesn't have a record of supporting fascism'.
The resulting row ended up in the High Court in 2006 where Mr Justice Collins said: 'When he knew that Mr Finegold was particularly offended because he was Jewish, to go on to compare him to a concentration camp guard was indefensible.

In trouble: Ken Livingstone has been accused of anti-Semitism on a number of occasions, including when he compared a Jewish journalist to a concentration camp guard

He should have realised it would not only give great offence to him but was likely to be regarded as an entirely inappropriate observation by Jews in general, and those who had survived the Holocaust in particular.'

John Mann confronted Ken Livingstone at the Millbank TV studios in Westminster today, shouting at him while he completed one of many broadcast interviews today calling him a Nazi apologist

Mr Livingstone rose to power and prominence in the 1970s and 1980s when he ran the Greater London Council.
He became the face of the hard left, supporting everyone from striking miners to Sinn Fein's leaders at the height of the IRA's bombing campaign.
He famously goaded Mrs Thatcher across the Thames in Parliament during the turbulent 1980s by displaying the unemployment figures on City Hall.
His finance chief at the time was the now Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell, who he later sacked for being too left wing.
Mr Livingstone also co-edited the Labour Herald in the 80s that offered a unique and at times comically misguided take on the affairs of the day.
In 1983, for example, when co-edited by Ken Livingstone — then leader of the GLC — it ran a 'special photo report' praising the achievements of the murderous North Korean dictator, Kim Il-sung.
It also had an ugly habit of publishing articles that were regarded as virulently anti-Semitic.
A cartoon it printed in July 1982, under Livingstone's co-editorship, was headlined: The Final Solution.
It depicted Menachem Begin, then the Israeli Prime Minister, as a bloodthirsty Nazi officer, trampling in jackboots over a pile of Arab corpses.

Jeremy Corbyn has publicly criticised all forms of anti-Semitism, in particular, speaking out against far-Left abuse directed at Luciana Berger, a Jewish Labour MP. Above: now suspended Ken Livingstone (left) with Gerry Adams (centre), and Mr Corbyn (second right) walking on Westminster Bridge in the 80s

So outraged was the Jewish community at the racist nature of the image — which recalled viciously racist Hitler-era German cartoons — its leaders reported the paper to the Attorney General.
A feature the Labour Herald published the same year also advanced the false anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that 'Zionist' Jews (those who believe in the right of Jews to inhabit an Israeli homeland) collaborated with Nazis during World War II. 'Basically, your Zionist argues with the Nazis that Jews cannot be assimilated into Gentile society,' it read.
'From this, he says that Jews need a land of their own, not just any land, either, but only the land of Palestine.'
Jewish leaders, it continued, had shamelessly: 'Used the sympathy stirred up . . . after the Holocaust for their own devious ends.'
In 2006, again when Mayor of London, he was cleared of anti-Semitism by an official investigation launched after he told two Jewish businessmen to 'go back to Iran and try their luck with the ayatollahs'.
Mr Livingstone's jibe was directed at billionaire brothers David and Simon Reuben at a City Hall press conference on March 21 during a row over the redevelopment of the Olympics 2012 site in east London.
A member of the public complained to the local government watchdog, the Standards Board for England, which referred the matter to the Greater London Authority's monitoring officer for an investigation which could have led to a three-month suspension for the Mayor.
But a report found no evidence of anti-Semitism, racism or malice and ruled that Livingstone did not breach the GLA's Code of Conduct or bring his office into disrepute.

Strange friends: Ken once hugged Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi at City Hall (pictured together) - Sheikh Yusuf has said that attacking Israeli citizens is legitimate

Mr Livingstone insisted that he did not know the Reubens were Jewish at the time he launched his attack, accusing them of jeopardising the £4 billion Olympic City development, in which they held a 50% stake.
But many believed his comments had smacked of anti-Semitism.

Ken once hugged Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi at City Hall.
The Egyptian scholar was a vocal supporter of female genital mutilation, the killing of gay people and also said that suicide bombings were fine as long as the victims were Israeli civilians.
He even said an Israeli foetus inside an Israeli woman was a legitimate target.

This week Bradford West MP Naz Shah and former Labour Mayor of London Ken Livingstone were suspended from the party after being accused of making anti-Semitic remarks. As the political fallout continues we ask a panel of writers, including former Foreign Secretary Malcolm Rifkind and Prospect Editor-at-Large David Goodhart, what exactly is anti-Semitism? Can it be distinguished from anti-Zionism? And at what point does legitimate criticism of the Israeli government turn into unfair singling out of the country—and of Jewish people generally?
[h=2]Inadequacy and immaturity[/h] Malcolm Rifkind, former Foreign Secretary
In the early 1970s I was on the short list to be the Conservative candidate for the Scottish Borders seat then held by the Liberal David Steel. At a drinks meeting with some of the local party worthies in Melrose, an elderly lady asked me if I was Jewish. When I confirmed that I was her only remark was to say “I don’t think there are many synagogues in the Borders.”
When I became Foreign Secretary in 1995 my Jewish background was of little or no interest to the British public and media, though of great interest to the Israeli Press. Anti-Semitism of the kind that flourished in Britain and most of Europe before the Second World War is not significant in Britain today. The Jewish community lives and breathes by British values and is well integrated.
What has changed is the deep controversy about Israel and the Palestinians. Jews in Britain share in that controversy. I, like many British Jews, have been deeply critical of the Israeli West Bank settlements policy while remaining a strong supporter of the State of Israel.
Those, like Ken Livingstone, who deliberately, or through ignorance, allow their distaste of the Israeli Government to lead them to hold Jews in general as deserving of insult or opprobrium should be ashamed of themselves. They demonstrate their own inadequacy and immaturity.
[h=2]It appears across the political spectrum[/h] Abi Wilkinson, freelance journalist
Despite recent attempts to associate it exclusively with the left, anti-Semitism manifests in many ways and is present across the political spectrum. A particularly pernicious aspect of it, at least in my experience, is the idea that it’s not really like other forms of bigotry because it involves kicking upwards. Anti-Semites frequently claim that Jewish people form a shadowy, all-powerful cabal which is responsible for a wide range of different ills. Additionally, the actions of the Israeli state are sometimes offered as a justification for hatred of Jewish people by people who, apparently, can’t distinguish between legitimate criticism of a government and racial and religious hatred. It’s terrifying that so many anti-Semites seem genuinely unable to recognise their own prejudice.
[h=2]There is only one question[/h] David Goodhart, Prospect’s Editor-at-Large
The only interesting question in the renewed debate about anti-Semitism is how to think about the difference between historic Christian anti-Semitism in Europe and the hostility to Jews arising from the continuing conflict over territory in Israel-Palestine. The first form of anti-Semitism helped to make the Holocaust possible and became the template, at least in Europe, for all forms of hostility to the other or outsider, and in particular for hostility to dominant and/or successful minorities. Only a tiny number of cranks openly profess such hostility to Jews today—at least in the English-speaking world.
The second form of hostility to Jews arising from conflict over territory is widely held in the Muslim world and among Muslim minorities in the west (including in Britain as the ICM poll for Trevor Phillips’s recent Channel 4 programme confirms). This hostility can take a “normal” form similar to other historic ethnic conflicts—Greeks vs Turks, Sinhalese vs Tamils and so on. The trouble is that it invariably gets intertwined with the first form of hostility, both in the arguments that are used about Jewish power and the implacability of the hostility—with the typical rhetoric of driving the Jews into the sea or eliminating them. The fate of Naz Shah illustrates this slippage. I have met Shah a couple of times and believe her to be an intelligent, liberal person and like many on the left and in the Muslim community she holds perfectly legitimate pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli government views. But by lazily recycling language all too common among Muslims (and parts of the left)—”transport the Jews to America!”—she connects herself to one of the most deadly ideologies of the modern era.
Of course the accusation of anti-Semitism is sometimes used by Jews and Israelis to try to close down debate. And of course opposition to Zionism is not the same as anti-Semitism (though we should not forget that Zionism exists mainly because of anti-Semitism). But Muslim radicals and parts of the fundamentalist, “identity politics” left are transfixed by the capitalism-US-Israel nexus in a manner that defies rational explanation. To someone like Ken Livingstone Jews are fine, admirable even, until they refuse victimhood and pick up a gun to defend themselves—then they become particularly hateful white colonialists in Muslim lands. Thus has anti-Semitism evolved into the one acceptable prejudice for parts of the modern left.
[h=2]An ahistorical bind[/h] Martin Bright, Professor of Journalism at Anglia Ruskin University and former Political Editor of the Jewish Chronicle
The Z-word has become poisonous for the Labour Party and the wider campaigning left. Long before Ken Livingstone’s rambling interviews about Hitler’s support for a Jewish homeland, the idea that Israel is synonymous with the Third Reich, (or apartheid South Africa) had become a mainstay of “anti-Zionist” campaigners. Such simplistic comparisons are comforting for those who believe they are on the side of good and their opponents pure evil. But how many of those people who turn up at demonstrations holding placards showing the Star of David juxtaposed with the Swastika are anti-Semites? Is it possible to be an anti-Zionist without being a Jew hater?
The question itself is anachronistic and the Labour Party finds itself in an ahistorical bind. Israel was established after the second world war as a nation for the Jews. It is a Zionist state. If you support its right to exist, as Jeremy Corbyn and Ken Livingstone claim to do, I suppose that makes you a Zionist. When left-wing students tell me they don’t hate Jews, they just hate Zionists, I ask them whether it might be possible to be a Socialist Zionist and whether they are aware of the role played by the Israeli Labour Party and the trade union movement in the founding of the Israeli nation. Life is sometimes a little more complicated than the Z-word would suggest.

[h=2]The worst atmosphere since the 1940s[/h] David Herman, freelance writer
Anti-Semitism is Jew hatred. It takes various forms: verbal and physical violence but also recourse to familiar tropes and images, mostly from the heyday of European anti-Semitism, between the mid-19th and mid-20th centuries. As Luciana Berger’s recent tweets have shown, these vile images and stereotypes are still going strong.
Why the revival now and why on the Left? Two main reasons:. Firstly, for forty years the Left has seen Israel as the last vestige, after South Africa, of white, western colonialism. It sees Israel’s alleged crimes as much worse than the actions of any other state. It is not surprising that this demonisation has come to a head in the Labour Party under a passionate anti-Zionist and anti-colonialist like Jeremy Corbyn. He is not anti-Semitic but his leadership has been crucial in the deteriorating situation within Labour.
Secondly, some Muslims also see Israel as a brutal occupying power, guilty of alleged war crimes against Palestinians, and they seem to find it hard to distinguish between the actions of a Jewish state and the beliefs and values of Jewish people everywhere. For them the distinction between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism has become strangely blurred.
The coming together of these two strands—the Left and some Muslim voices—has created a new anti-Semitism in the UK. This and the continuing violence between Israel and Palestinians and in other parts of the Muslim world has created the worst atmosphere for British and West European Jews since the 1940s.

An anti-Semite hates Jews.

Zionism is Jewish Independence.

An anti-Zionist hates Jewish Independence.

It's the same black ink in a slightly lighter concentration.

Vitterd is sooo predictable. He posts some dumb shit with his white apologist mental issues...gets owned by multiple posters with facts that dont fit his agenda.....then he starts hurling out insults about the posters that are posting the facts.

This dude is a classic case of liberal loser justification...if you dont like the facts try to discredit the source. He does it in almost every thread (which is every thread on here)....once he loses the argument start attacking peoples character.

Doesnt like the stats on black/white cop shootings? Attack the source.

Doesnt like the fact about crime and gun violence in Dem controlled gun free cities? Atrack the right wing for driving the violence. Or blame it.on camera phones.

Do you take meds vit? Ill wait 30 seconds for your reply.
