This is the POV from the officer wearing "Body Cam #2"

I believe the lawyers representing this idiot's family are acting unethically (A lawyer should demonstrate respect for the legal system and for those who serve it, including judges, other lawyers and public officials; Lawyers play a vital role in the preservation of society. The fulfillment of this role requires an understanding by lawyers of their relationship to our legal system).

You can't use inflammatory words such as "execution" here, it is grossly irresponsible given the public nature of these events.

It was a stolen Jaguar that was fleeing the scene ,“O’Neal was driving the vehicle, which crashed into a police cruiser and then sideswiped another before two officers started shooting from inside their car. A third officer got out of their car and fired, what police

However,
The Chicago Tribune now reports that, “O’Neal struck two Chicago police vehicles in the sports car, and two officers fired at him while he was in the car, authorities said. O’Neal fled from the car, police said, and a third officer chased him behind a home. After O’Neal refused to stop, the officer shot him.” That officer’s body camera did not capture the actual shooting, but body cameras from two other officers who also fired their weapons did.

O’Neal’s mother is a chef and recalled O’Neal as “an outgoing person who made everyone laugh. He graduated; he did good.” (LOL)

as the officers got out of their car, the Jaguar’s driver “put the vehicle in drive and literally forced his way out.” The Tribune added that, according to police, an officer “continued to follow the fleeing offender.”

what are you laughing about clown?

You're the one who called it an execution

From what was shown...... no one here saw the actual killing. So maybe he was on the ground giving up out of breath or no where to go and the cops shot him in the back and killed him.

The guy had no gun. He was already running away. You really going to shoot at him again for almost running over a cop? They already shot at him for that. That's understandable. But to shoot at him again? For what?

Then the notorious aftermath talk..... " he had a gun right? He shot back right?"

Lol dumbass cops. No wonder they got dismissed from their jobs. Damn yall are dumb.

This isn't.....oh lets get him back for almost hitting us. No. There are guidelines to follow. If no one is aiming a gun at you then there's no reason to shoot them.

I just say it how it is. I'm not trying to push nobody's buttons. But from what was shown......how do you know the cop didn't put the gun to the kids back and shoot?

He got shot somehow because you can hear gunshots. Except coincidentally, the cops body camera was turned off for those brief moments I believe. Sounds like angry cops for making them run after that dunout timeout

Lot of these young car thieves do it for their hustle. Not to kill people. Watch vicelands new show , "black market." There's money in the shit. They touch on a lot of popular black markets. Like the underground poker world in New York City. The carjacking epidemic in New Jersey is the first episode and imo my favorite one. Give it a look. It's on demand too

Dude tried to run over the cop, that's attempted murder right there. I only saw the cop fire at the car while the perp was trying to hit him. Unless something else happened that I didn't see how's that an execution?

Something else did happen. Clearly. Lol.

Okay book him for attempted murder and grand theft auto. 30 years probably. But instead the cops kill him.

That's the most idiotic thing ever worded together in a sentence while referring how police should respond.

If someone is trying to escape from the police. First, do you know how difficult that is? Playing grand theft auto 5 with 5 stars you would know. Lol its probably like that. Multiple cops ,multiple wheels, helicopter. All talking to each other trying to find one person.

Secondly, his attempt to hit a cop clearly looks like him trying to get away and squeezing through the only spot possible going that fast. I highly doubt he was trying to kill cops or else he would of had a gun on him and he would of shot. But it looked like he was just trying to get away.

I'm not making excuses. This is reality. And there are guidelines that you follow when something like this occurs.

You don't go and get "payback" because you almost got hit. If you do....go kick him in the side once. But shoot him over it? When he never had a gun? You have to be an idiot to think that's okay and fair.

This wasn't a misunderstanding from my point of view. It's very clear. Guy runs from cops with no gun and cops kill him. The moment a life or death situation is over. ....you no longer can shoot someone over that situation when it is already over. Lmao. That's called murder if you do.

I don't know why anyone would say the police has a license to kill in these situations. The police knew that it was wrong immediately. Evident from the video. ..

" man now I'm going to spend the next 30 days doing desk work."

Little more serious than that cop.

"I shot at the car as it almost hit you."

Theres a difference between shooting at a car that almost hits a cop and then running after the suspect and finishing him off.

They know the difference. Some of you don't though. Or don't think.

"Who was shooting in the alley?"

They all know it's a big deal almost immediately after. ..doesn't sound like they even think it is normal procedure.

Look at it like this....forget the cops.

If you almost hit me with your car and speed off to your house. I'm mad now. I think you just tried to kill me/ run me over. I get in my car and follow you to your house. I get out and shoot and kill you.

Who's at fault?

That one cop and my life are at risk from the attempted murder. The only difference is I will get probably 2nd degree murder if I have a good lawyer. And the cop most likely will get off all charges, but will never be a cop again.

The cops job is to run after the perp. So they are supposed to follow and hold them responsible. But the murder comes into place when you respond in a non life threatening situation. Then self defense is out the window. But if I call the cops instead of handling it myself. The cops go over there with no personal vendetta. Because it was my beef. And no one dies.

It's difficult when you are in the moment to lose the rage. But in reality, they get paid to follow guidelines and to think smart. Or else they don't have a job.
