Treez is right about the Giants being in shambles. I bet against them last week as my top straight bet (though the rest of my card was pretty dismal, lol). Any offense should be able to put up points against them right now, and the Balt. D. will limit them greatly. I played them in a teaser at -2.5 w/ the Colts at -3. I like SD as well, Ace, even with TB improving, they are on the road and the Chargers match up favorably with them. Minnesota is a bit soft and mentally weak, not sure I'd play them against the Seahawks. My line in that game is Minny -6.34. Baltimore -10.73, SD -9.68. BOL this week, the card is pretty tight!

I took Seattle last night because they were humiliated at home the previous week. Then, they are embarrassed again at home on Monday night. I looked at all their games, and in a a lot of them, they have not played as well as they should have. This is a TREND.
It would not shock me if Seattle covered this game. There are no guarantees. But, this is a good investment/wager.

Yeah, it is a hard call between betting favorable lines early in the week, and betting later in the week after getting more information (especially injury updates). I had to make my top plays Monday because they involved teasing the public favorites, whose lines usually creep up during the week, plus a few Overs. I took the Saints at +7 and the line is up to +7.5, I hate it when that happens! I guess I should have anticipated heavy action on the Cowboys after the Monday night game. As far as the SD/TB Under goes, I've got that 'capped at about 41.38 (don't have my laptop here), so I'd lean on the Under but don't think I'm going to play it.

I Am Well Aware Of Tampa's Record On The Road And S.d's At Home As Well As The Record Between The Two. But I See The Bucs Improving Big Time In The Last 5 Weeks,they Have Their Offensive Weapons Back And Griese Has Been Very Balanced-putting Up Good Numbers.they Are Still Alive In The Anemic Nfc Playoff Race.

first i always read your thread, love what ya do, and what your saying is correct.
without homework nobody wins, PERIOD.
from what i gathered so far you must be very similar to me in that we both pound the time on research, comparisons, history and stats.
i 've been doing this religiously for over 20 years now, wrote 3 books on covering the spread, ( as can be attested to by the breadman and others).
the way you break your lines down leaves one more to read and compare than to respond to...that's good.
i used to get so crazy with the breakdowns that i was projecting quarterly scores!
that's when i realized it's just like you say,"the more it changes, the more it stays the same."
hence the invention of my #'s system treating every team in the nfl as a whole based on the concept of...any given sunday.
