17 weeks, huh...Thanx...

I wish they played on just Sundays instead of FRI-SAT-SUN-MON and some Thursdays...Makes the copying-and-pasting go slower...I'm at Week 5 already, though...I'll do 2003, also, and see if I can find 2002, too...And then I'll post the data in this thread, probably...

Helluva nice job...

And those totals went 3-0 today to make it 10-2-2 ATS for the season...DANG!!...Talked about missed opportunities...

I'm done through Week 16 now and since I spotted NFL Europe lines and scores, I also am done through Week 8 of their season last year...Apparently there are only 6 teams in that league...

Done with Arena League and NFL Europe 2004...The entire seasons copied-and-pasted into MS-Excel with all the lines and results, day-by-day...Getting an early dinner, then we'll do 2003 later tonight...

I just noticed something...I never really followed Arena League or NFL Europe or the CFL before, but the timing of these leagues are perfect...Arena starts during the NFL playoffs, and then NFL Europe starts about midway through the Arena season, and BOTH of those seasons end JUST BEFORE the CFL begins...So you can bet Football Every week of the year!!!...Amazing...

The data is in for 2004...I was right...Not even sure how I noticed it last year but the data will be in the next post...

data...

ACE:

Every game total that was greater than 99 for the 2004 season:

50 Unders and 27 Overs, for a 64.9 winning %

Every game total that was less than 99 for the 2004 season:

47 Overs and 33 Unders, for a 58.8 winning %

There were 4 totals of exactly 99:

3 went Under, 1 was Over (the Arena Bowl was the Over)

It was pretty streaky too, when the losses came, they came in bunches, but so did the wins...Interesting stuff...

And I will trust your numbers for the start of the 2005 season at 11-3-2...
I will do the 2003 season tonight or tomorrow...

So using this info, that is 97-60 ATS for 2004 (not sure what to do with the 4 games at 99) for 61.8%...

And we are 11-3-2 ATS to start this season, 78.6%...

Not bad...

That is some GOOD fun there!!!...Winning money is ALWAYS fun!!...

On the spreadsheet, you can see the streaks that took place...I'll break it down by week after the SuperBowl...

I may have to get my feet wet now with Arena League...My curiosity has peaked...Maybe just look at your picks for a few weeks and go small...

Did you bet Arena League last year?...Year before?...

If you have MS-Excel, and you want to see the spreadsheet I just made up for the 2004 season, I'll send it to you...It has every boxscore for every game, too...I'll do 2003 late tonight or tomorrow...

Got 2002 and 2003 done...All in MS-Excel...

I'll crunch those numbers tonight...I am quite sure this will level those percentages downward a bit...I will break all 3 years down by week...

And I probably will move the number from all totals over/under 99 to 99.5...

Be back later tonight...

Sure...If I understand you correctly, you want to see what happens with all totals 90 or below and 110 and above, right??...Yeah, shouldn't be too many of those...I'll include that data...I'm starting on the Week-by-week breakdown now...
