Hope you don't regret not taking the job down the line.....maybe they send you here on business.....

It wasn't like I turned it down. The sequence of events just kind of unfolded such that it was a complete no-brainer to take what I took.

The opportunity in Thailand was kind of stalling, and the necessity for the position I had at that time was dwindling and we all knew it. Was just the natural progression of the business and doing what I was doing.

So instead of leaving me waiting around or overpaying me to stay in an extraneous position, they offered me an even bigger raise than the Thailand gig to head up my own department and work from home. Now I make my own schedule, hire my own people, and have eliminated the rat race portion of my day.

No regrets.

I do have a desire to head that way someday, whether it be for business or pleasure. I'll certainly look you up for a round. :toast:
